considering everyone says this game is even more cryptid than nocturne regarding plot, i might not have much to say 🤷♀️
~
okay guys i'm turning it on. let's see how long it takes until i put the voices on mute
~
there isn't any kind of canon or semi-canon name so i'll just use the VA like how i did back in p5

just the switch default keyboard instead of a more interesting design??? this is so cheap
~
me after going through cock and ball torture from 20+ yrs old smts and seeing a game being actually resourceful with info like :0

~
smtv: you can run in this game! me: :0 smtv: you can also jump! me: 80
~
one hour in, i muted lol aogami's voice is super nice but the moment i heard how the shop seller demon sounds i instantly gave up also since you move nahobino a lot i'd rather spare my ears from a million grunts
~
since it’s obviously a title done to grab nocturne fans i’ll use it as a parameter most of time (and occasionally smt4) the way the story progresses indeed feels too abrupt. nocturne was guilty of this too ofc but to a lesser degree
~
i can’t blame them going the extra length on the tutorials but imo i feel they could’ve make them less… idk, walltexty? instead of separating in parts and making it easy to read they literally cover the whole screen like a grade schooler making slides for the first time
smt4a also showed tutorials like this but it was bearable since it was for only a few features and they separated paragraphs with a screenshot example on the bottom so it wasn’t this big chore to read
smtv barely lets you have a feeling of wonder over tokyo turning into a desert and it’s already tutorial tutorial sidequest tutorial oh you can battle fiends now tutorial tutorial like CALM DOWN
~
me: me: me: huh, smtv is open world??
all my feelings of “mm exploring seems more fun than progressing the story” make sense now
~
the most surprising factors from smtv that i could already feel this early 1- despite overworld being the nicest in the series to travel and explore around, i wouldn’t… call the battle system the fastest or easiest to understand.
the actions take longer than usual to be done with specially when enemies escape from the battle, when they are in groups it takes foooreeever for them to exit the screen, and girl, for me to notice sluggishness after playing all the goddamn snes era of smt like...
2- for a positive: they’re self aware of where nocturne had its flaws regarding some aspects of the worldbuilding, special note on they *gasp* doing a job similar to smt1/smt2 when writing abt chaos and acknowledging demons can go stupidly overboard w hierarchy
~

my girl looks fantastic she's so expressive in her battle animations, atlus being an ass and not letting us record videos tho

~
at lvl21 rn, the difficulty has been Very Very first dungeon of smt4 idk if this is specifically bc i'm in the hard difficulty but you don't gain much exp even from bosses and the item drop has been very scarce, the game is basically screaming at you to use the macca/exp dlc
~
things that have been objectively easier from smt4
1- shop/save point/healing point/terminal are all on the same place (and same menu)
2- you have an infinite-use item that teleports you to point above
3- demons are super friendly. very easy to avoid and attack from behind
besides those, they put several changes on the skill/fusion system. they made things from before both easier and harder lol imo it has been very well balanced so far, plenty of good stuff but enemies still fuck your ass so you gotta be careful from beginning until the end
~
the most ??? aspect of smtv is that the cutscenes are too reliant on voice acting, like, when you turn it off not only they become overly silent but you're often not sure whom the subtitles are referring to because they don't use the "name of person talking: blablabla" format there
~
omg the ainu critters' special dialogue...

~
aogami's dynamic w the mc is SO hilariously opposite to dagda's with nanashi. terapheutic uncle vs abusive stepdad
~
aogami: do you want to help your classmate? he shouldn't feel bad for feeling weak and running away. not everyone can endure the same. whatever you want to do, i'll respect your choice dagda:

~
since i decided to go all out on hard i'm trying to do every little thing as chronologically as i can and the sidequests have been the most fun and comfy to do in the series but nevertheless 50 hours and i'm still on lvl38 fbdnjrbfn open world games Man
~
not whining though, compared to the likes of legends arceus the level of stuff we have to look on our own is very small... they give so much extra info for everything, i don't think you need to see a guide at all even for fusions or the compendium
they even tell you what a demon drops or where they are found!! like what the fuck!! that's the shit!!! that's the shit i deserve after suffering for so long!!
~

~

I Have Entered Platform Hell
~
me 85 hours ago: wow jumping is so fun! me now:
~
okay folks i reached endgame... i gave them the benefit of doubt for a while but yeah i understand now what people meant when they said the game felt kinda unfinished
smtv has been the equivalent of this
~
dgdvgnh mother harlot took over an hour
the new skill system is the easiest to recover in case your party gets killed but the fights take loooooong... but the fun kind of long ngl
~
FOR FUCK'S SAKE NOT ONLY FILMING BUT SOME PARTS CAN'T EVEN BE SCREENSHOT EITHER it's been a goddamn year already you dumbfucks, the whole game has been all over youtube for ages
particularly mad because i could take a zillion pics of nocturne cutscenes so i could piece together later plot points that i didn't get at first but here i can't even do that
what's the point of a switch if i'm just gonna need to take ass phone pics again like i did for the 3ds era
~
i was already feeling this way in early game and near the end my opinion didn't change much. as someone that has nocturne as their favorite mainline, i think smtv's alignments are way better written
~
the open world areas are where the ost shines the most compared to other titles, i like that they have an edginess yet feel soothing at the same time
my brain as i was tweeting this: it's representative of aogami's bond with you. the protagonist is terrified by the truth of the world he's in but aogami inside him assures the mc he's under his protection me: 🥺
~

mom said it's my turn on the xbox now
~
nocturne 🤝 smtv "What In God's Fucking Name Is This Dub"
~
i turned the voices on again just for demifiend and i swear i'm not being subjectively a hater here, the battle grunts sound super awkward!! like imagine demifiend's model going ape using gaea rage and all he says is "huh" in a bored voice
~
demeter grew on me in this game. she has a sorta tezuka-esque charm to her, the way she falls down with comic effect stars after getting hit is cute
~
even with all the quality improvements regarding fusing, trying to change even a few skills is still time-consuming as hell man…… should’ve included a dlc where every essence is available or some shit so at least we could do trial and error in a stress-free way
~
"raishura walked so nahoshura could run" you SURE about that fam? you sure?
i'll give that raidou's addition in nocturne must've been seen as shameless fanservice back in the day too but he had several levels of more substance than demifiend simply waiting to beat nahobino's ass without any sort of interaction beforehand
raidou had cutscenes and npcs talking abt him across the entire game and EVEN HAD A SPECIAL ROLE IN THE TDE ENDING. demifiend in smtv is literally dlc-locked and only there for a fight. come the fucking on
~
i'm not even against nahoshura only specifically bc raidou is better (he is), i'm also counting the fact that nahobino is, well. using steven universe terms, it's like trying to ship garnet with any of the other gems
~
sorry i also can't stop thinking abt how frickin unfair his fight with demifiend is. you literally have to TRICK HIS AI and make him HOLD BACK. demifiend engaging with raidou was two guys on the same level. demifiend with nahobino is basically a dog playing with an insect
~
k guys got the neutral ending. around uuh 30 hours of my gameplay was focused trying to beat demifiend (and failing) so removing this part i guess it was around 100 in total
me: 130 hours on a first run... this is so much my switch: oh sweetie...

~
i was prepared to write a lot of things about this game but uh. i think nothing beats the precision of that togashi chicken. it's literally this. smtv is the togashi chicken
~
as i played i wondered whether this'd be a better game than nocturne for beginners and aside the obvious technical improvements i'm at a loss for what to say tbh
like, i think newbies would forgive some stuff better as we know people come mostly for the 3d visuals big openworld pretty femboy nahobino yadayada but the general feeling i have is that newcomers would get hit awfully more with the lackluster worldbuilding
i feel i could enjoy it a good portion of it because i had fresh knowledge of the shortcomings of previous games and was finding interesting the different take smtv did for some aspects (and it IS fun to play), but now that i reflect on it as a whole, while it tackled the backstories and the reasons behind their alignments much better than nocturne, when late game reaches you couldn't help but feel "...wait, is that it?". like. stuff barely happens in the game. 40 hours or 100 hours in, no difference. everything felt the same
~
i was specially shocked by how they made your partner silent and devoid of reactions once again like YOU GUYS???? DID YOU MAKE THIS GAME ONLY FOR PEOPLE TO STOP SHITTING ON SMT4???? LMAO????
i can't get over this, man i chose neutral because it felt like the alignment more fitting to how the story developed and was curious on what kind of interactions i was gonna see from aogami and [redacted] and. here i am receiving dead silence as gratitude.
~
tldr yea i get a lot of choices done here was because it intended to be a spiritual sucessor to nocturne (or sequel? they didn't make it clear) but i feel nocturne ultimately did a better job at using minimalistic storytelling in its favor and had a more concrete identity than smtv
anyway it didn't live up to its potential but imo it did have appealing aspects there. nocturne had three versions so who knows, maybe smtv could get expanded into something more interesting in the future
~
an insanely funny tidbit about smtv is that... i think it's the first time ever you see shirtless male characters in the series being drawn with nipples

re-checking the art all over again and huh while smtiva's 2d art was all nippleless i guess nanashi's 3d model somehow... somehow if you squinted enough you could see some dark circles so maybe he's been the nipple blueprint

~
did a chaos run ...and once again... THAT'S IT?!
a speedrun takes around 10 hours similarly to smtiv but their weight in plot is nowhere barely comparable lmfao smtv basically compensates its lacklusterness just by having maps that are more time-consuming to walk and remember where you're supposed to go
since now it's confirmed i'm not gonna get mindblowing endgame info or interesting dialogue whatsoever (HOW could you fucking do this to me aogami) i'll rest on this game after all and play something else
~
aogami had it all to be an interesting character mannn whyyyy did they make him silent in the end. it happens regardless if he agrees to the route or not. at very least the snes heroines still said something but he literally feels non existent in the worst part of the story to do that wtf
i guess for smt standards they're still interesting enough for fans but me seeing furinana or dagunana artists jumping to aoshu and going "oh! let's see what we have here!" and them ending up being so minimal in the end.... the equivalent of a donut fan switching to dry crackers
fine. i get it. maybe it's not that aoshu is lackluster. flynn x nanashi was just too damn good. it'd take a lot from devs to beat or even replicate it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

mlp ran for almost an entire decade and 7 months after its over im just now learning how to draw ponies despite the fact that i watched it since i was 10
#its not that hard tho there are plenty of tutorials for it and the shows style is pretty simple and cute#i mean ive done it before bc like i said ive been watching it the entire time but only ever as doodles not full drawings#mostly in middle school too. ages ago#im pretty much following it to a t tho so . im not really good enough to stray from it and experiment yet#but i will be once i draw enough of these little horses#i actually think its easier to do lineless so i dont have to get the outline exactly right its just a blob of color that i can edit easier#probably because i HAVE drawn in the mlp artstyle before bc like i said ive been watching it for the whole time it was airing#ive already drawn a few but the first batch didnt really come out looking quite right. but the one im doing rn looks pretty good i think#i hope that doesnt sound egotistical like by ''pretty good'' i just mean as close to the shows style as possible#need to get that down pat before i can experiment with other ways to draw ponies lol#animals have never been my strong-suit but this is different bc its like not actual animal anatomy#its very simplified and cutsie so its not too hard

The more I think about it, the more I get closer to not going to college. There's so many more cons than pros like;
Pros:
I'll be able to get better jobs because of the diploma and shit or something.
I'll better myself and learn in various fields I'm interested in.
I'll learn animation and improve my art.
Cons:
I'm disabled and pay for my medications + sometimes pay for my way to doctors appointments, cant pay off student debt when I'm trying to live functionally. Or afford supplies either.
I'm really bad at math and sometimes have a really hard time comprehending things without a hands on experience to go along with the auditory guidance, to the point of giving up, cheating(going online for answers), or copying a friend— which the last two are really big no-nos for college. This is all how I mostly got thru highschool, looking up math worksheets after giving up or copying people.
I learn better on my own after I've figured out a way of understanding that mostly only makes sense to me, where teachers will probably get mad at me for "doing it the wrong way" or not showing my work as they have often in the past, which discourages me and I give up :/
Sure, there are programs and groups for disabled individuals but are all teachers going to take that into account equally? From my experience, not at all. I had a couple teachers that totally disregarded a BIG requirement on my IEP(small group testing, even if I don't ask). One of them didnt allow me help from the resource teacher who assured me I'd always have his help if I needed it(it was for a essay that the teacher was refusing to help me go through and make sure it was comprehensive enough; I ended up getting a C on it and she wondered why that was).
Given my financial status already I will have to rely on scholarships, which isn't always a good idea.
*
I'm leaning more towards learning animation and improving my art through skillshare, because that's at least more affordable than college. If I can't pay for the next month, then I can just pick it back up the next time I have the money. No problem. There's also plenty of tutorials online for free. Not gonna say this shit to my parents tho. They'll just continue to ask "when am I going to college" afterwards anyway. Dunno why they're so worried. Dad fluncked out after not even attending any classes. Mom never graduated highschool so she doesn't know shit. Its not for everyone, especially someone whos mentally disabled where everyone is assumed to be capable enough.

Probably a loaded question, but with all the game engines you've worked with, what are the pros and cons for each? I'm really interested in trying my hand. So far I got rpg maker mv for a paid engine, but I'mma l look into free ones also. (Game Maker seems a bit expensive for my tastes :()
GOD YEAH game maker is... so expensive... i’m hoping my bro gets me it for Christmas when its on sale. but even then like. ouch. that price tag.
so here are all the programs I've used to make my fangame at some point:
uh. long ass post ahead.
COST: 15$
its a visual novel making program! like RPG maker, its not code based, but visual based! you just click and drag the stuff from the left onto the right area and boom. game made. Honestly, a really good introduction to making a video game! Its very basic and simple, which is very newbie friendly. Lots of Youtube videos on how to do things too.
You can technically do more with it by using the program’s coding language OR by using java-script, tho personally i’m not good at coding yet so i never really saw what i could do with it. i haven’t really used it in a year but honestly, i can’t thank it enough for being such a good introduction to game development.
Pros: cheap one time fee, easy for newbies and visual based.
Cons: very limited to just visual novels, and even then to do more complex stuff you really have to work for it to get it to work.
RENPY
COST: FREE
THE free visual novel program. It’s a bit of a learning curve since everything is done in script, (ie: no visuals) BUT its VERY simple and easy to learn and once you get it and it clicks, you can do a lot with it! because you code it yourself, the limits are nearly endless. uses it’s own language, but you can also use python (or its built on python? can’t remember lol) and python is built for newbies.
Pros: free, limited only by what you’re willing to learn to do with code, while you can make RPGS its pretty limited since its not built for it
Cons: only super easy to use once you get over the learning curve. if you have any experience w/ code, its a breeze. if not, still easy to learn!, you can only use it for rpgs, NOT a visual program
(and other RPG Maker game engines)
COST: 50$ (EXPENSIVE! but it does go on sale once in a while. i got mine at 20-ish$)
idk if you plan on making a UT fangame too but its totally possible!!! i’m doing it!! and i would be very happy to share/help others with theirs. i mean. mostly its just plugins from other people, but i did set up a pretty nice inventory and i can show ya’ll how i make the sprites. (since UT has a lot smaller tileset size) and honestly, if you need help w/ this program my instant messenger is always open B)
uh anyway. RPG maker is a godsend for someone like me who is very visual minded and has a hard time grasping code. i know python... ok-ish. im still a noob. ANYWAY yah, theres LOTS of tutorials and plugins you can sink your teeth into, big communities who are all happy to share and help each other out. its pretty great! (actually, you could say the same w/ all these game engines! but the RPG maker forums is like. super nice from what i’ve seen)
so like, with youtube you can learn how to use it within a day or two, frankly. and you can do SO much with it w/ plugins. and the community is ages old, and the game itself is a few years old and has plenty to offer. you need something? likely someone else has made a plugin or forum post on the topic and someone has helped them figure it out. HIGHLY recommend this program if you can afford it (and you already have it, so honestly, just go w/ rpg maker.)
i wouldn’t super recommend the default assets cause the community hates them. they’re way over used and people see it as “lazy.” its good as like, a stepping stone but you shouldn’t rely on them for your whole game if you can manage your own graphics or pay someone to make them. if not, theres still free tilesets you can use if you look for them.
Pros: big friendly community, lots of resources to use, capable of A LOT of things, hassle free for the most part!
Cons: price is big, but it goes on sale often and the older versions of RPG maker aren’t that much different/worse. granted, MV is the best but like, the others aren’t bad. quite a bit to learn at first, but really simple honestly.
COST: Free (sorta. you need a license for certain aspects, but really u could do it free w/ zero issue except for exporting to multiple devices)
ok so like. i don’t. really know how to use unity too well. out of all of these, i haven’t used it for long. while still somewhat visual, you still have to learn a quite a bit of code and look up tutorials to figure out specific things you want to do.
for UT fangames, there is UNITALE/Create Your Own Frisk which uses unity, tho you don’t need the Unity to make games unless you want to make a overworld. since i’m making a overworld and more, i’ll need to learn how to use Unity. It’s a uphill battle but i’m fairly certain i can do it eventually.
there’s a LOT of resources but theres also a LOT to learn. untiy is pretty big and well known, for both 3d and 2d so like, go ham. have fun.
Pros: can do anything
Cons: can do anything so you gotta learn how to do it w/ code.
Cost: has both a subscription and a license you can purchase. its,,, pricey and doesn’t go on sale all too often.
I actually don’t have ANY experience with this program except for like. a few night’s worth. i read the manual if that counts for anything lol.
uh, its very script base and it looks good? uh. idk. its. yeah? i heard its great and i’m sure for that price and for it to be respected so much its got a lot live up to. my brother likes it and hes a Real nerd. so. i guess??? it should be worth it? i’d say wait until around Christmas/later in November for the steam sale if you really want to.
i mean, UT was made with the first one (tho i hear GMS 2 is way better) and toby didn’t know how to code going in so like. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ honestly anyone can learn it and while i haven’t gotten to use it much yet, I want to.
there’s the Undertale Fan Engine made with GMS 2 and i’ve tried it, its pretty extensive and frickin cool.
TLDR; figure out what kind of game and story you want to tell/make. i could of saved a year’s worth of work if i just sat myself down and realized i wanted to make a completely new fangame separate from my old blog stuff. and that i wanted to make an rpg specifically.
honestly, i want to make more games after AL, like, if i could become a indie dev that’d be my dream. (ironic since i don’t play video games LMAO)
but yeah! theres lots of choices, and its all a little overwhelming honestly! if theres anything you need help with w/ any of these programs I am happy to help further. I wish you the best of luck!!!! video game making is hard work but its so worth it!!!
#long post#personal stuff#sams replies#also sorry i didn't go back and reread to fix things up im lazy#dream-unity

19 Home Quarantine Boredom Busters!
Bored? Bored??? Complain about your neighbors, your family, the government, the sky, anything else. But I never wanna hear or see anyone complain about boredom. Sorry not sorry. There's so many masterposts of things to do and free online resources. Here are just some of my dork ass ideas:
1) Free (yes FREE) online college courses from, you know, Yale, Harvard, MIT, etc:
https://www.coursera.org/
https://ocw.mit.edu/courses/find-by-topic/#cat=engineering&subcat=nuclearengineering&spec=nuclearsystemspolicyandeconomics
https://www.edx.org/school/harvardx
https://www.freecodecamp.org/news/ivy-league-free-online-courses-a0d7ae675869/?fbclid=IwAR1a9qAE6IcqmcQpPaTmXH6q63QBCA95rntnZPY0ah_U80d8u0wa9wAIYhc
What, like it's hard?
2) "Tattoo" practice - This is a personal idea of mine. Basically, you just take some non-toxic markers to draw on yourself or whoever youre in home quarantine with that wants a fake tattoo. This isn't the best time to be getting real tattoos but you can have fun seeing what youd look like with a one. If you dont really draw, you can print designs to cut into stencils.
3) Bento "stories" - I got this idea from the mom that went viral for the creative bentos she makes for her kids. I think, for even just one meal a day, it would be cute to tell a story with each bento. So if you're living with someone, they need to wait til the next day to find out what happens next! If you live alone, make them for yourself and post your bento story online.
https://www.boredpanda.com/creative-bento-food-art-samantha-lee/?utm_source=google&utm_medium=organic&utm_campaign=organic
4) Karaoke - By yourself or with others, doesn't matter, make it a party! Just search for your karaoke sobgs on Youtube. And anything is a microphone: hairbrush, remote, piece of fried chicken.... Good for you if you have one of those bluetooth mics tho.
5) Professor Day - Okay this one is really nerdy but it's more fun than it sounds. Pick a random topic, anything at all, and prepare a "lesson" or presentation on it. It could be one of your interests, an intro to a new language, or something you always wanted to learn. You can keep it to yourself, share the file online, or better: Dress the part and call your home quarantine buddies in for "class." If you live alone, teaching a class of inanimate objects would make for a silly yet informative video on your topic. Hey maybe this can catch on! Everyone can be an expert of something they're passionate about and should share their unique take on it, who knows who will be into it.
6) Miss Going Outside? Bring the experiences indoors! Like the family that made a home grocery for their grandma, you can make part of your home into something you miss from the outside world. Museum? Plenty offer free virtual tours. Cinema? If you don't have a big TV, you can make a projector for your phone with a shoebox. Camping? Hello, pillow fort and blanket tent. Roast marshmallows on the stove. Play relaxing nature sounds on your speaker. (Try the free app Relax Melodies, I love the mixing feature) Get creative with your space and what you have to make something you want. When you're really bored and missing the outdoors, Youtube or Google Streetview somewhere you wish you could go.

https://www.instructables.com/id/Build-A-Smartphone-Projector/
7) Room Makeover - No better time to do it! It's good exercise and it's a creative experience.
8) New Hair Dont Care - This is the best time to try an outrageous haircut or color since you're stuck at home. If it doesn't turn out ideal, no one has to know. If you love it, great! You can try any look you normally wouldn't wear outside or at work.
9) Safe Science Experiments - emphasis on the word SAFE. Safety first, always. There's plenty of free resources online for instructions, esp on YouTube.
10) Consume All The Free Movies, Shows, Music, Books, Audio Books and even Comics Online... it's endless! So much free... And now not so little time. You won't run out of things to watch, read, or listen to.

https://www.digitalbook.io/search-audiobooks-ebooks.html#!///history
https://documentaryaddict.com/
11) Make a Short Film - Get creative or just be silly! Try stop motion with old toys, get yourself or someone you're home with into acting, or make your pet a star.
12) Tea Party - Be a kid again and dress up for tea... but put whatever twist you want on it! Wear an old Halloween costume or something! If you live alone, video call your friends or family to join you for tea.
13) Spa Day - All the pampering you didn't have time for when work/school wasn't from home? You have time now. DIY facial. Bubble bath. Nail art. Really soak in every little act of self love.
14) Practice drag makeup, styling, and performance for fun. Your gender or sexual preference doesn't even matter here. Its all good fun! Be a drag queen or king for a day. Lip sync for your life by yourself or make it a drag race with your home quarantine mates.
15) Mystery Day - Create a fake crime scene and have your friends/family solve it! Doesn't have to be a big mess and you don't have to make it so complicated for yourself or your home quarantine fam. You could also just write a simple mystery/riddle online for friends to solve if you live alone. You can even assign roles like accomplice, police, detective, etc. Work your brain, the goal is to kill boredom right?
16) Scrapbook - or Burn Book, Spell Book, pop-up book, revolutionary manifesto, whatever. Use anything you have as a base even if it has writing: an old phone book, something missing pages, a faded magazine, whatever. Then stick any pics, stickers, printouts, tags, wrappers, etc you want. What kind of book will it be?
17) Art Therapy - Even if you dont consider it something you're "good" at, use art to express yourself. It doesn't just have to be drawing, painting, or sculpting... You can pick up a forgotten musical instrument you may have lying around and just keep trying. Youtube is life. Countless tutorials for everything.
18) Crafts Crafts Crafts - Theres so many simple crafts to try at home. 5 Minute Crafts on Youtube and various other channels offer some great yet easy ideas. Try going about it in this order:
a) Look around your house for stuff you don't need. Set aside for craft pile or donate pile.
b) Look around again for any ways you can improve you home. You need mor storage? Is your shoe rack broken? Are you always missing something? Then search online for crafts specific to that.
c) Set up a neat work space with your craft pile and some tools you can use. Note: Never use kitchen items for crafts if you still intend to use them on food. You may be able to wash them but you can't undo any damage from crafting trial and error.
https://youtu.be/AROj7nkH2LQ
19) If you have any skill that can possibly help frontliners during this crisis, do see what you can do without risking your own health. If you can sew, donate masks or even PPE suits as there are guides online for the right patterns and materials. Even just a few pieces are helpful. If you sing, sing for our frontliners. If you write, write about them. Do your research about the situation in your town. Health workers, sanitation workers, grocery staff, and other essential workers are all putting their lives on the line. All we have to do is stay home but we can make the most of it.
