For being the 3rd most listened to song on this album, it's so mid. Just a bunch of lore related stuff, but I haven't cared about any group's lore ever soooo... Not awful, but not anything special. Though I did get a good chuckle at the "*name* your hands in the air!" Like what?

Savage

I'm mixed, on one hand all the vocal centric parts sound heavenly- then the sound of the instrumental starts hurting my ears during the rap parts. Also I'm not the first to say this but... Winter's voice gets grating after a while. I'm not a fan of super high pitched voices, sorry. The dance break is nice, but they won't get them good dances to match so what's the point. The chorus really starts to get annoying after the 5000th "Gimme gimme now". The MV is amazing, but what else is new with SM? It's either super nice, high budget MV's or slow mo shots of people staring off into the distance for 4 minutes. I like experimental songs but it's just not for me. Also, start giving Ningning more high notes, less to Winter please.

I'll Make You Cry

Everything Savage should've been. Cyber sounding but not grating, and I'm not waiting for it to end 2 minutes before it does. The talking bits are cringe, but don't last too long, so I can ignore it. Of course the vocals carry the song but the rap bits don't sound bad. I was gonna complement Karina's voice but... not right now. But I see why Savage was the title track, but it should've been this song. Seriously I made a (good) physical reaction when I heard the chorus for the first time. Almost NCT 127 sounding, and I like that.

YEPPI YEPPI

My favorite song on the album, but far. I love fun songs, and this is that. It's fun and summery, just what I need in these trying times. Also very ITZY, which is nice cause I love ITZY. Don't have much to say, just a very good song. If you haven't heard it I recommend heavily.

ICONIC

Second best song on the album, it's ICONIC. Get it? I'm funny. Missing that fun that YEPPI YEPPI has, but it's still a great song. One problem, why do they keep cutting off Ningning from her high notes? Show us your main vocalist sing you cowards! Though it's not my favorite, I listen to this song the most. It has the replay-able thing that YEPPI YEPPI doesn't. YEPPI YEPPI feels like a special event to listen to. Does the tech-y song better than Savage, again. When a song is really good, I just don't know what to say. Good song.

Lucid Dream

Hot take, it's just okay. Not bad but not deserving to be the 2nd most listened to song on this album. And it's definitely not their BEST song?? I have nothing to say about it, it's so nothing. It's not a ballad, but it's ballad like. Though I'll give it this, at least it's a ballad type song that fits the vibe of the album- cough, cough, every other album ever. Overall a very good EP, though it has it's messy spots.
