you were sprawled out on the bed, laying on your stomach while scrolling through pinterest as one of your fingers twirled a strand of your hair.

your gaze locked on a image of a bow tied around a woman's neck, it looked so cute you had to look at similar pins, so you clicked and continued scrolling down. in one, a bow is tied around the girl's waist, in another, it's around her biceps.

you looked into the drawer in your bedside table, brushing your fingers against the cool fabric of the wrapped up pastel pink ribbon sitting there just waiting to be used. and oh, did you find a way to use it.

you were too engrossed in the world of pretty bow fantasies to realize the door clicking open and a tired but happy ryujin walking in. it had been a long day for the korean, grueling practice hours and their choreographer being half an hour late only made her more mad.

the happiness was from the fact that she was finally home, and she couldn't wait to have you in her arms and kiss you all over your gorgeous face.

ryujin opened the door to your bedroom to see you using your phone with a smile, wearing one of her oversized t-shirts and shorts underneath that were two sizes too big and she was awestruck. as she always was by you and how you were so pretty even with normal clothes and no makeup.

she slowly made her way to you, getting on the bed. her eyes briefly went to the screen to see what your were so focused on, and she saw an image of a bow around a woman's wrist.

not paying much thought to it, she pulled your phone out of your hands, putting it on the bedside table and flipping you over onto your back.

"missed you, baby." she whispered, gently pressing her lips against yours, both her hands pinned on both sides of your head. you hummed into the slow and love-filled kisses, your hands instinctively going into place around her neck.

the idea resurfaced and before ryujin could react, you pulled away and sat up, making her sit on her knees as well as she stared at you like you stole her favorite thing from her.

"why'd you pull away?" she tilted her head and you only grinned. your hand quickly pulled out the ribbon and you put on your cutest face. "can i tie bows around you, ryu?" you asked, head tilted ever-so-slightly, lips puckered in a pout, shiny eyes looking up at her.

she was a simple woman.

she saw your face and she couldn't say no. with a sigh, she caved in, "alright." the most excited smile instantly formed on your face as you let out a squeal making her chuckle.

you got some scissors and went to work. you tied a bow in every place of her body you could; around her neck, wrist, biceps, waist and even her individual fingers. the baby pink stood out among her dark t-shirt and sweatpants, making you love it more.

she just watched you do whatever you want with the most giddy smile adorning her features. god, she really loved you. so so much.

after you were done, ryujin pulled you by your waist, "enjoyed bow-iefying me, princess?" She asked placing a tender kiss on your cheek. "yep!! loved it so much! love you so much!"

you kissed her all over her face, your giggles mixing with her laugh replacing the quietness in the room prior to when she arrived. she never was one who liked cute, girly things like bows, pinks, ribbons, etc.

ryujin, may have been covered in bows and kisses, but she liked it because you covered her in your bows and kisses, and she loved that because she loves you. she forever will.

AND THEN IT ALL JUST STOPPED. the world faded into the background, the gunshots were long forgotten as an ear piercing scream reached her ears.

yeji's jaw dropped when she saw you lose your balance. she went into overdrive, her mind not working rationally. she ran as fast as she could, just in time to save you from dropping to the floor.

she sat on her knees with you in her arms, tears lining her eyes. "baby, fuck, shit, wait, i'll save you, i swear." the bright red liquid stained everything in its contact.

"call the ambulance, fucking do something!" she yelled, her teammates captured the person who fired the bullet, two of them dragging the shooter to their van, while the others hurried trying to call the ambulance.

yeji removed the leather jacket you were wearing to see your white shirt you wore underneath submerged in crimson. "fucking hell, you lost so much blood, princess, please don't leave me, i'm nothing without you, please."

a weak smile pulled at your lips as you slowly reached your hand out to cup her cheek gently, pulling her closer, "promise me you'll always take care of our daughter."

"no, don't-don't say that. you're not going to leave us both, you're everything we have, don't do this to us, y/n, please don't." she sobbed, leaning into your hand.

the love of her life was on the brink of death and she couldn't do anything. she was powerless. this was the second time in yeji's life where she felt this way.

the first time when she saw her parents be assassinated right infront of her and now, as she saw her wife, her girl so close to giving up.

it hurt so bad. the physical pain was nothing compared to the mental pain you felt. you were going to leave your partner in crime and sweet little daughter to fend for themselves, just like how your mom left your dad and you.

except she cheated and left, whereas you were being forcefully taken away from the two you love most. this wasn't fair, you wanted to live. you wanted to experience the adrenaline rush of killing and spending time baking for your little family of three.

you wished to live but some wishes are left as wishes and never come true. it was your fate. you were fated to leave this world in your lover's arms while you slowly lost all memories and your life.

"the ambulance is on their way." one of yeji's teammates spoke. "i'm sorry." you choked out with a lifeless chuckle. seeing yeji like this only hurt your slowly draining heart more.

"please don't cry, jiji. i don't like see-seeing you cry, es-especially 'cause of me." she only cried harder, she couldn't possibly survive without you by her side, it was incredulous, terrible to even think of how she'd live.

"looks like i'll have to go," "no, no, no, you don't no, don't leave me, don't, don't." She couldn't stop protesting. she knew her pleas wouldn't change anything, yet it felt like it would do something and it only hurt more when it didn't.

"i'm sorry for leaving, tell our babygirl mommy loves her, i'll always-always love you both even when i won't be here to say it and you wo-won't be able to hear it. thank you for lovin-loving me, yeji."

your soul slowly left your body with your blood. her teammates saw you leave peacefully with a smile on your face, silently crying themselves. you were a part of their team too.

"no, this can't be true, no, no, you're-you're not, not, leaving me, no, no, y/n? y/n answer me, y/n no!" yeji saw you lay there lifeless in a puddle of your own blood.

you left her, you were forced to leave her and your daughter alone. just when she finally moved on and was happy, god chose to take her only light away.

you were the light that always lead the way in her dark world, your daughter was with her as you three lived and survived every difficult situation with you leading the way.

what was she going to do now? who will lead the way? who will love her unconditionally like you loved her?

you left the world that night, but yeji's soul followed yours behind, it seemed. she lost herself. she lost her everything. she lost what she treasured most.

she made the biggest mistake by dragging you to come with her on a mission she could've done with her teammates.
