Rusty lake dating headcannons!

A/n: This is my first time writing for Rl. If it's bad, sorry.

Laura:

-she's very shy at first, it takes a while for her to open up, but when she does she's very sweet and loving

-Due to her abandonment issues, she might have breakdowns where she starts sobbing and begging you not to abandon her, at times you might have to pin her down feed her prozac, but usually just hugging her and stroking her hair helps

-Dates will most likely consist of going to parks and drawing trees or birds, she might draw you and she's great at it, girl's a damn printer, draw her and she'll be swooning (even if it sucks)

-she uses pet names like darling, my love and sweetheart

-she's okay with physical contact, but prefers quality time, don't get me wrong she loves cheek kisses and hand holding, but spooning makes her feel trapped.

Dale:

-Given his job, he can be a bit macabre at times, sometimes he might just sit and drink coffee in a corner with eyes as dead as the fish he seems to always encounter

-dates will most likely be going to a café and drinking (you guessed it) coffee, he'll most likely start talking about van gogh or his love for old houses

-He dreams of marrying you and moving into some house in the land, escaping from the city's misery

-He always smells like coffee and old attic

-he likes physical contact and going on long walks with you

Jakob:

-He's old fashinoned (duh) and likes doing household things, he's very overprotective of you and will feed you and help you

-He doesn't like dates per se, but rowing a boat and talking about life with you is something he loves

-If his asshole family tries anything with you like Gerard begging you to make soup or Margaret commenting on dusty clothes he'll give them a lecture and get really pissed, especially the time David puked a dead frog on your boots

-he calls you his everything, darling and madam (or mister lol)

Elizabeth:

-given that she can't see, she'll spend alot of time touching your face and hands and moving the little joints, describing things to herself like: long fingers, or big eyes, she might just say, "soft hair" in the middle of a conversation

-She's embaressed about her family and how gross they can be, urging you to not talk with Gerard or her little brother

-Dates will most likely consist of dancing around to music or playing with animals, you have to describe them to her

-ALWAYS holds your hand for guidence and she's very clingy in general

-she loves singing for you or playing the violin for you

-she'll pick flowers for you, sometimes they're strange looking and you can't find it in the flower book but that's cool!
