although it is true, kwon is definitely protective over you– it depends however, as in, depending on how capable you are to defend yourself. this doesn’t only mean physically, verbally too.

if you are into karate and have the skills to pay the bills (another reference lmao), kwon won’t be as protective, as he himself acknowledges your strength and is very proud to let others know you are his partner.

if it’s the other way and you don’t do karate, it just increases his protectiveness– he won’t judge you for it or anything, but will offer to teach you some tricks in case of an “emergency” (basically him going to a match and won’t be there with you) so you can defend yourself, though you’d probably have a ‘guard’ with you lmao (yoon 💀)

Q: Obviously we can't too much into s3, you showed so much range with your character in s1 and 2. What was your fav part about getting to explore him in s3?

JJ: I think in the 3rd season you will see Gihun a lot more rough. He has that grit about him. And he continues this incessant fight against the people who only think about winning by themselves, who are extremely selfish. But to know Gihun is someone who continues to be committed to his own beliefs. I think i would have to choose that. And now sitting here looking back on everything, i feel like we need more Gihuns in this world. (awww<3) But that is not to say Gihun always makes the right decision or that he is completely immune to temptation, right? Sometimes he finds himself being tempted, sometimes he will find his conviction being swayed. And at times, he will be on that tight rope of turning to the dark side but then try his best to escape it. So it's very hard for him to control all those emotions, especially within the game arena, you know, physically and mentally it's extremely draining. However the fact that he's always try to think about what is right, what the right decision is. That's what i like about him.

listen i know praise has been heaped on Yoo Yeon Seok and Chae Soo Bin, and rightfully so, for their roles in When The Phone Rings, but i really hope that Park Jae Yoon gets the level of recognition he deserves because the job he's done has been insane. the physicality of his portrayal of OG Baek Sa Eon is mind blowing; the speech patterns, the way he moves and holds himself, how consistent he's been through the whole show, through every scene, every moment, every movement, every line.

but also like where did this guy even come from? the one tiny fragment of information about him on MDL is that he's a musical actor, which makes sense since he's clearly talented and experienced, but he's only had what looks like two bit parts on camera before WTPR.

i really hope he stays in television and film because i would love to see more of him after this. i want to see what else he can do. i hope he's getting scripts thrown at his feet right now and that he has his pick of projects and gets to do what he wants. i hope he's ridiculously successful. i hope we get to see him again soon.

first of all, the way karina's fans are babying her and defending her so fervently is baffling to me. that woman is 25 years old, and you seriously think she's enough of an airhead to not know what all the symbols on her post mean, ESPECIALLY during election season??

"it was a coincidence" wearing a red jacket (colour of the conservative party) with a number 2 on it (number of the conservative party) AND posting it with a rose emoji (symbol of the conservative party) during election season is NOT a coincidence, it's intentional.

and i don't expect non-korean fans to know much about SK history or politics, but good god AT LEAST do some basic research before you go spout off some stupid shit like how you'll "always stand with your idol until the end", because all that tells me about you is that you're braindead and have no morals of your own outside of what a celebrity tells you to think (which is exactly why idols aren't allowed to endorse politicians or parties because these companies know their fans are FUCKING DUMB and easily swayed)

first reason karina's post was a mistake: SK's democracy is extremely young. we've only had 13 elections, with 3 dictators (4 if you count YSY's short martial law last year) and practically every other one being jailed or tried for corruption. so the chance that the candidate you endorse (regardless of party) ends up being a corrupt piece of shit has an extremely high success rate. second reason: this is not a normal election. YSY was impeached, and people are VERY angry at him for the mess he caused last year, and the fact that karina endorsed his party is. just wow.

this is not to say that LJM (blue party) is a good candidate. he's literally being investigated for corruption and a shit ton of other things so if you think this is me endorsing him or the DPK....no 😭

karina has the freedom to endorse and vote for whoever she wants, but that does not absolve her from the consequences of her actions. stop treating her like she's a child that didn't know any better. if she's adult enough to vote for and publicly support the conservative party, she's adult enough to take the heat for it.

idols are not perfect angels that can do no wrong. they are humans with human flaws and biases, and they SHOULD take accountability when they do something wrong. a half-assed apology on an exclusive paid platform or a corporate statement doesn't cut it. personally, my morals and beliefs are more important to me than supporting a celebrity.
