Fandom Trumps Hate - MDZS/The Untamed, Nie Huaisang lovers' edition

This year I (and several other familiar fans!) decided to participate in @fandomtrumpshate - and omg there are 100 fics in the MDZS/The Untamed fandom! If each participant gets at least a $5 donation, then that's $500 dollars our fandom is giving to various charities! These days we're all feeling a little scared and worried, and it's the perfect time to dust ourselves off and put some good out into the world.

Since there are so many offerings, I'm going to tailor a list around my favourite character, and the one me and most of my mutuals will have in common: Nie Huaisang. (Am only including offerings specifically mentioning NHS and/or his ships as principal in the offering, rather than secondary or in the background). All participant names will link to the official offer on Dreamwidths which will have much more information about what they will and won't write.

JEFFERSON CITY--Reigning AAA State Champion Bearden totally dominated Jefferson County 8-0 Saturday on the road to earn a return trip to Murfreesboro this week to defend their crown.

Senior defender Cole Stopka started things off fifteen minutes in with a towering header off a perfect corner kick by Laurent Igiraneza.  Seven minutes later, Lucas Ford drew a foul in the box, and GK Logan Nelson was again called upon to convert the penalty kick for a 2-0 halftime lead as the Bulldogs were just getting warmed up.

Early in the second period, Bearden exploded for three goals in three minutes. Aidan Ainsworth scored twice, giving him a team-leading 14 dingers, then assisted Igiraneza’s powerful attack right up the gut for Iggy’s 8th goal of the year to put the Dawgs up 5-0 and invoke the continuous clock rule with 31 minutes still to play. During the fireworks, Ford, playing one of his best games despite not scoring a goal, recorded his 18th assist of the year. Steady midfielder Ahmed Dkhiri, in the midst of an impressive string of playoff games, had an attack and assist on Ainsworth’s first goal. 

Jashua Garcia had a nice game as he attacked the Patriot goal at will and scored his 5th of the season. Freshman Carson Stripling recorded his first Varsity goal, and hard-charging classmate Adam Charara bagged his second along with an assist as he logged some quality minutes.

This makes seven consecutive trips to State for Head Coach Ryan Radcliffe and Assistant Peyton Berry. It is Radcliffe’s eighth tourney in ten seasons, racking up three Championships. It’s also worth mentioning Coach Rad went to State three times himself as an All-State midfielder for the Bulldogs, winning one title, a runner-up, and a final four. 

Next up, Hardin Valley at State on Tuesday night--‘nuff said! Go Dawgs! Win State! Woof!
