Uh idk how to start this post but here's another post for Just Dance: Servers Down! This time, it's focused on the lifes of those in the safe zone in Dancity

Also, on the last post, I understand why people couldn't figure out who wrote the logs since there are a LOT of male coaches in Dancity lol (I should have been more specific oops)

So, the person that wrote those survive logs in the last post was...Ruben! He only started writing about the infected to better avoid them & to warn others aswell, I was gonna make it to be Polo, but I forgot that Polo suffered a bit off an accident in the au so he can't go out much anymore (aka bro lost a fucking foot to the infected), so that just leaves Ruben to go out for supplies for the both of them

As for the person who wrote these logs, it's Scarlet Gold! They were originally hidding out backstage at Scarlet’s Palace but then supplies ran out and after losing a certain friend *coughs* Fuchsia Blue *coughs*, they decided to go to the safe zone, and that's how these logs started

Sims Scarlet Palace pt 1

I wanted to do the coaches from Scarlet Palace but since I'm going to be very busy soon I prefer to split it up into two parts since I already got some of them already made

Scarlet Gold might be the most difficult one to do because I couldnt find any similar cap(and the one I found I had to paid for it before download it)and their bodysuit was also difficult too so that why I went with putting them that suit.Not sure if it turn out good

With Fuchsia Blue would be the opposite from Scarlet.It was quite more easy to do .Maybe except for the bodysuit too but anyways I think it turn pretty well

Ann G.Lina the difficult part was to find the cloud skirt and a little her makeup I thought that I have a star makeup

Luke Cypher was fun to do but I wish I had another jacket for him and I feel that I didnt do well his shade of red

so before we talk about any other performer at scarlet’s palace, first we must talk about the enby drag legend Scarlet Gold themself. (real name Samson Garnet.)

Their first appearance was in You Make Me Feel (Mighty Real).

Now there is a quote from Just dance mag on the poster outside of scarlet’s palace, there isnt a full look at it but most of it is shown.

“...Scarlet’s show ever! ...is simply the best ...mer of our time.” i assume that means performer

and you make me feel definitely lives up to that imo best 2022 song idc

and yes Scarlet/Samson is the first coach to use they/them pronouns

now that we’ve learned about the owner, lets talk abt some other performers at the palace.

and we’ll start out with the new and HOT performer (figuratively and literally) Luke Cypher

now he probably has the MOST lore bc he’s the only one with a whole official tiktok to himself

so i’ll just put the whole transcript of that here

now Rita Pina is the first character at the palace that got a name, as she was called Rita during a Just Dance Class video where the performer of Drop the Mambo, Medhi Kerkouche, went through steps of performing the song

OH ALSO SPEAKING OF THAT, Drop the Mambo was originally planned to be performed by a female dancer, but the developers in charge of the routine made him the dancer instead because of the sheer energy he had while coaching

this makes Rita the first coach to be portrayed by a dancer of the opposite gender

OH ALSO she was in Sugar, dancing with the coach of Love Me Again

good for them

lets hope it goes well bc Love Me Again actually has TEN exes but thats another story

Fuchsia Blue was meant to be in a music video for Todrick Hall’s Just Dance version of Nails, Hair, Hips, Heels. (thats where fuchsia got her name along with harlem, doremi, maybel, and probably some others im forgetting)

it’s a little rushed at the end but here it is. i love this tbh

Winglets

Jade Winglet- Damian, Janis, Aaron (and other unnamed dragonets)

Silver Winglet- Regina, Gretchen, Karen, Cady (and other unnamed dragnets)

Gold Winglet- Chandler, McNamara, Duke, Veronica (weirdly doesn’t have any other dragonets)

Copper Winglet- Kurt, Ram, Martha (other unnamed dragonets)

Cady- SandWing. (Bonus dragon name- Lion)

* Scales are weirdly the color of red sand with a charred orange tint that becomes more vibrant in sunlight. The ridges running down her spine are the only natural SandWing color, as they are pale yellow

* Grew up mainly in the dessert with her parents and a few others. She hasn’t been to any other kingdoms, beside the SandWing one. Excited to get to meet other dragons

* She has learned how to position her tail so nobody will accidentally get jabbed with the barb, but her friends occasionally have to jump out of the way when her tail wags

* When angry, her wings flare out and her tail arches over her back menacingly

* Has never actually wounded someone with her stinger

* Would be the one fainting if it happened

* Jokes about how she dislikes water but is dating a SeaWing

Regina- SilkWing. (Bonus dragon name- Glimmer)

* Really fucking big

* Especially her wings, which shimmer like crystals in sunlight

* She’s multicolored, but mainly shades of pink with hues of indigo, emerald, and some spots of gold

* Her wings weren’t grown in when she and Janis were friends, but now they’re here and they’re super big

* No wonder she’s the queen bee, even though she’s not a HiveWings

* Took a liking to Cady because of her strange scale colors

* Probably related to a queen

* Probably an heir

* Met Gretchen and Karen on Pantala; they all flew to Pyrrhia together

* After landing in the rainforest, they met Janis, who gladly let them stay in the jungle with her

Gretchen- HiveWing. (Bonus dragon name- Honeybee)

* Has a very slight rose-gold tint in her orange-yellow and bronze scales that can be seen in sunlight

* Doesn’t really have any pink on her, so she wears gemstones or flowers around her neck

* Her species have multiple different abilities, and she has a few of them. She can create a putrid odor from a special scent gland and her tail can inject a paralyzing nerve toxin, but she doesn’t have poison in her claws or teeth or the special barb in her wrists

* Bonds with Cady over their poisonous tails

Karen- SilkWing. (Bonus dragon name- Fuchsia)

* Mainly a lighter shade of pink with swirls of magenta and rose on her wings. There’s a few other colors, too, like purple and pale yellow

* Has no idea how to use her silk

* It’s a wonder that she even knows how to fly

* “If you’re a SandWing then why are your red??”

* An excellent fruit gatherer; Not a useful skill, but hey, she can do that

Damian- MudWing. (Bonus dragon name- Bear)

* Biggest of his group of friends

* Scales are mainly crimson with a cinnamon color going down his head and to the tip of his tail. Underbelly fades to marigold. There’s a slight orange tint under his wings

* He hatched from a blood egg, so his scales are fire-proof; Nearly gave Janis a heart attack the first time she saw him get hit head-on with fire

* He’s made himself Bigwings of his Winglet (but it’s mainly for Janis)

* He met Janis after she broke away from her old friends. She was depressed and still shaken up from her capture and she flew far from her home just to get away from bad memories. She crash lands in the marsh, much to her dismay, and he helps her out of the mud; A strange immediate kinship is formed between the two

* Has a venom burn on his shoulder

* Learning Aquatic to impress Aaron

Janis- RainWing. (Bonus dragon name- Pastel or Rainbow)

* Her scales can obviously change colors, but she usually keeps them as shades of purple with streaks of yellow and ombré. The underside of her wings are the color of the lesbian flag and she would definitely thrust them open at random moments just to show the colors (Damian is proud)

* Flares her ruff when angered

* Turns dark red and black when mad, light blue if sad, bright yellow when she’s happy, etc.

* Damian has learned which color means what

* Was kidnapped and tortured by NightWings and is very untrusting of them

* That’s what broke off her friendship with Regina, Karen, and Gretchen. She was devastated when she found out they didn’t look for her.

* Threatened to melt their faces off if they didn’t get out of her rainforest

* Ended up being the one to flee the jungle and flew until she couldn’t fly anymore, ending up in the swamp, where she met Damian

* Stays with him there, not returning home, as she felt safer with him

* Definitely has a pet sloth

* Found out she was related to a RainWing named Veronica while doing a sudden venom test when she sprayed her acid in a flash of anger and Damian jumped in front of her unsuspecting victim

* His cries of pain still haunt her

Aaron- SeaWing. (Bonus dragon name- Cyclone)

* Sapphire blue with a slight emerald green and indigo tint

* Only slightly larger than Regina

* Since Damian can hold his breath for an hour, he’s often accompanied on long swims in the underground lake

* When he talks, he often will flash his stripes in Aquatic with whatever he’s saying

* No one else knows Aquatic, with exceptions to Damian, who’s at least trying to learn

Veronica- RainWing. (Bonus dragon name- Drizzle)

* Scales mainly stays mixtures of blue to obey the color coordination code. Almost looks like a SeaWings, except not at bulky and big, as she is actually quite small

* Given a sapphire necklace from Chandler when she joined their Winglet and will forever treasure it

* The most common colors seen on her after meeting JD are pale green (fear) and white (pain)

* Her ruff has drooped down so much it might stay like that permanently.

* Scales start to dull in color over time

* Used her venom on JD, which caused the scales on his face and chest to melt

* Had a pet sloth but JD?? fucking killed it???

* Related to Janis after doing a venom test for an injured MudWing

* Animus

* Scared of what her powers might do to her

* Ends up enchanting an earring, wristband, and a string of rubies to keep Ram, Kurt, and Chandler alive, but they can’t ever be taken off

Chandler- SkyWing. (Bonus dragon name- Phoenix)

* Second biggest in her Winglet

* Mainly a shiny crimson color with a gold underbelly and undersides of her wings

* When angry, smoke comes out from her nostrils

* Wears jewels around her neck and even a chest plate; Instead of a scrunchy, she has a band of rubies around her horns, which ends up being enchanted to keep her alive when JD attempts to poison her

Duke- LeafWing. (Bonus dragon name- Thistle)

* Emerald scales with a few pea green areas here and there

* Definitely reads scrolls in her free time

* Spends a lot of time in the library

* Wants to be a queen

* i need more on her

McNamara- SandWing. (Bonus dragon name- Fennec)

* Tallest in her Winglet

* White-yellow scales with marigold spines running down her back

* Wears gold chains around her neck

* More threatening than you would think, especially because of her scorpion tail

* Has jabbed her fair share of other dragonets

JD- NightWing. (Bonus dragon name- Deathwish)

* Bigger the Heathers and Veronica; Veronica is only half his size

* Scales as black as night. There’s no speckles of silver under his wings

* He doesn’t even go to the academy

* Animus; Uses his powers very often, and it’s obvious that it has taken a toll on his mental state, but that’s not the reason why he’s so abusive and cruel. That’s just the way he is, even if he didn’t have his enchanting powers

* Tried to poison Chandler and released a Dragonbite Viper on Kurt and Ram, almost killing all of them until Veronica stepped in

* Was sprayed in the face by Veronica’s venom, melting half of his snout and parts of his chest when droplets landed there

These Shorts Are The Quarantine Staple I Wear On Repeat

It was about a month into stay-at-home orders when I began to look at my wardrobe from a different perspective. I found myself spending more time sorting through drawers than hangers in my wardrobe. The trainer collection — three pairs of New Balances, some running shoes, and every neutral colour that Converse offers for Chuck Taylors — that usually resides under my bed was, too, getting more use than ever before. As a result, I discovered something about myself: I never again want to wear anything besides home shorts — an athletic-pyjama short hybrid — that I’ve been living in during quarantine. Since my lightbulb moment back in April, I’ve noticed that: (1) home shorts are everywhere right now, and (2) the range of options for a good pair of elastic or drawstring short-shorts à la Patagonia Baggies is far more diverse than I remember it being BQ (before quarantine). It’s not all Outdoor Voices and Lululemon. Alexander Wang makes them, too. (Bonus: his look like men’s boxers, another popular trend to come out of quarantine.) So does iets frans…, aka Urban Outfitters’ cool kid line of affordable tie-dye loungewear.  The real discovery here, though, wasn’t just that home shorts make for a great lounging companion. Instead, it was the realisation that, with the right styling, they can also be pretty stylish. I, for instance, like to pair mine with crew socks, loafers, and an oversized button-down shirt. I’ve seen others dress them up with a prairie top and kitten heels (a look likely inspired by none other than Carrie Bradshaw circa Season 3), or down with a tie-dye sweatshirt and trainers. VOLTA New York March 4-8,2020 is a boutique contemporary art show. 53 international galleries are each dedicated to showcasing up and coming, and mid career artists. Last night the wonderful smell of fresh paint popped off canvases and sculptures. Many artists were present and excited to talk about their pieces. Most galleries immersed the viewer in the works of a single artist, creating a very private experience. Metropolitan West is a terrific venue. The booths are open and private. Way faring is easy. The entire experience felt like a perfectly curated contemporary museum. 1) David Surman at Sim Smith Gallery: “Guardian of the Pyramid” paints an almost extinct, fantastically exuberant Suffolk Punch draught horse with an orange mane, that practically flies off the canvas. Fabulous brush strokes and color combinations. 2) Conchi Alvarez at STOA Gallery: the artist colorfully explores an introspective bullfighter preparing himself for danger in the arena. Through fuchsia and yellow, the subject’s emotions are explored. The non-threatening colors downplay the danger found in the subject’s face and posture. 3) Raphael Barrios at Mark Hashemite from Paris: bright purple, burgundy, and brown sculptural rectangles play with balance in space; Slois Krunschlaeher’s spinning cube of colored rods offer changing color combinations as it spins through space. Yellow and green morph into orange and red, creating a sense of harmony and excitement through color change. 4) Conrad Jon Godly at JD Malay, London: the painted mountains feel extremely intimate through the use of three dimensional painting techniques and brush strokes reminiscent of Japanese woodcuts. The cool blues and rich blacks draw you in and make you want to plan your next skiing adventure. 5) Ayako Rokkaku at Gallery Delaive in Amsterdam: spring fuchsia, greens, blues, and yellows flow expressively across the canvas as children’s faces emote and peek through.
