Hi this is random but I just wanted to say I love your Nimona art! I worked on the movie starting back when it was at Blue Sky Studios, and for a long time lived in a world where I thought no one would get to meet her after Disney shut us down, so seeing people like you enjoy and celebrate it so lovingly is such a gift. I didn't discover Nimona until after the movie was released on Netflix, and honestly hadn't it been for that, I probably wouldn't have ever really known about her, outside from seeing maybe some art around here on Tumblr based on the comic, I think.

I'm really grateful that the movie could still be released bc I love the story and the characters and honestly everything in it and it's a huge inspiration for me to keep learning on what I'm studying (I'm in my second year of animation and I've used Nimona more than once as inspiration to make my assignments wheheh) and also these characters are my everything and my beloveds 🗣️🗣️ thinking about them makes me so happy sjdkdjd

I'm really glad that the movie could be finished despite everything and it makes me so happy that you get to see how much people love it too 😭💞💞💞

Butch was sure he had placed his hat down in this exact spot and yet—it’s missing. With a hand hovering just over his head, he looks around for his cowboy hat with a confused expression, looking behind and under things set about his campsite.

He finally comes upon his hat, laying behind a log, a hand reaching out to grab it before stopping abruptly upon seeing the creature peeking out.

What the—

Now Butch was taking notice of the damage done to his hat, his brows furrowing in annoyance as he watches it stuff some dirt in its mouth. He can’t stay mad though; there’s obviously not much behind those eyes… besides, now he’s more so curious as to what the heck the creature even is. He had never seen an animal so brightly colored, atleast not where he was from.

“How now, ya can’t eat that.” The cowboy scowls, grabbing up his hat. “S’probably not good for ya, little fella.”
