She can only respond with “What’s wrong with you? I NEVER liked her.”

Chapter 1). Two girls hanging out and giving each other some definitely not-gay, totally straight head.

i was in a bad mood so i’m writing a jeckole fic where Jecka is mad at Nicole bc she’s flirting with Ari at a party right in front of her. Jecka gets jealous and leaves. Nicole doesn’t get it bc “Ari is so easy” and “It’s not like we’re in a real relationship anyways.”

Jecka refuses to cry in front of Nicole so she storms off and leaves her at the party and Nicole can’t help the pit she feels in her stomach. It doesn’t make sense why Jecka would be upset, they’re not dating they just fuck around sometimes.

She gets home and this put in her stomach just wont go away, it can’t possibly be guilt or an actual human emotion, no. She can’t take it so she walks to Jecka’s house and acts like a loser from a 2010s romcom, throwing rocks at her window so she can apologize.

She says some form of an apology even though “I don’t even know why you’re acting like a bitch, I don’t even like Ari I like you.” and that’s enough of a confession for Jecka so they make out the end

really sad jeckole where they get really drunk, makeout and Nicole ends up word vomiting out a confession to Jecka who can’t process it and runs away.

They have a weird span of like a week or two where they avoid each other because Nicole is embarrassed and refuses to reach out. Jecka is very conflicted because that’s the first time someone has told her “I love you” and she believed it which freaks her out.

Jecka’s never even thought about her sexuality before. Yeah girls are hot but that’s a universal fact. Yeah Nicole is really pretty and being around her makes her feel like throwing up but also like her skin is on fire but that’s normal teenager shit.

I really wanna explore Jeckole but if they don’t meet during Nicole’s first week of school. We know that Jecka ran with a pretty typical group of preppy girls (that we never see) so she feels inclined to stay in that comfortable clique she’s used to but she can’t help but be so drawn to the new girl who keeps causing problems.

She can’t help but laugh when Nicole says something rightfully disrespectful to a teacher or when she catches her telling off Crispin in the hallway.

Even though Jecka’s preppy, she’s not perfect and she finds herself in the office for getting caught up in something stupid and that’s when they meet.

Nicole’s typing something on her phone, not paying attention and Jecka doesn’t know why but she’s intimidated to just be in her presence. She’s seen how ruthless she can be.

Still though she takes her chances

“You’re Nicole right?”

She looks the blonde girl up and down. Her freshly manicured nails and her crisp pink collar. The same boring bitch she’s seen at countless other schools, clearly this won’t be any different.

“So?”

i’m listening to no other heart by mac demarco and GOD that song makes wanna cry so bad.

Now i’m thinking of unrequited crush jeckole. Jecka falling so in love with Nicole the more she gets to know her, this is the one person she really feels comfortable with but she refuses to believe Nicole could ever feel the same bc of the way she acts and she doesn’t know what kind of disciplinary tattoos her mom would come up with if she openly liked another girl.

It would just get worse when Nicole starts dating Ari. Great she likes girls but she doesn’t like Jecka, perfect. She has to sit by and watch her best friend be all over someone else in front of her.

Poor baby would subtly drift away from Nicole, not even on purpose but she just can’t watch her be “happy” with someone else and Ari is always tagging along and she refuses to be the type of person to be like “I don’t like Ari” or “Stop bringing her around”

I could go on forever.

Jecka would want to be with Nicole but the idea of being in a relationship with her would be so nerve wracking bc she’s not blind, Nicole is an asshole, it’s not like being her girlfriend would change that

Not so platonic roommates Jeckole where Nicole is still depressed while Jeckas at work all day so she starts to get really into cooking because it gives her something to do and she ends up getting really excited to cook for Jecka and make them dinner for when they get home :((
