Jiyong would often get distracted by the simplest of things. It wouldn’t always be a stunning stranger in the club or a sudden fight happening on the other side of the street. Even a ceiling with nothing special about it or plain bricks in the wall could leave him contemplating and blankly staring ahead. And it wasn’t like he was pondering about a single brick’s daily struggles but he was getting lost in his own thought revolving around a completely separate subject — either of higher or lower importance.

Especially with his eyes plastered to his phone screen, he was subconsciously diving deeper into the virtual world of social media. It was his cheap entertainment when he could just scroll down the feed and lurk through all those posts of people who felt the odd need to broadcast every single second of their regular lives. Starting from the breakfast they had to pointless pictures that were meant to maintain the so-called aesthetic, with a not too suiting caption. But of course, Jiyong wasn’t an exception when it came to falling into the trap of the social networks and whatnot.

One hand slid into the pocket of his jeans whilst the other was clutching the phone, with the thumb switching between the apps before eventually opening Instagram. Viewing through his notifications shortly, he began mindlessly scrolling as his steps carried him forwards. A low chuckle would escape his mouth once in a while and not even the people passing by could remind him of any surroundings. And then came a wake-up call. Upon feeling an abrupt slap, Jiyong dropped the phone down and immediately touched his cheek. With his mouth agape, he looked around in puzzlement before spotting a female right in front of him.
