modern odesta au but annie and the girls (and by girls i mean katniss + johanna + madge + delly) are tinker bell characters. it’s the most group costume ever . finnick can be bobble or something idk

wait can i talk about how the hunger games girlies would crush a tinkerbell and the fairies costume in a modern au. like

rue - tinker bell! also would be the little mermaid bc she would def have a collection of trinkets but we won’t get into it rn. basically if u broke it rue can fix it

katniss - fawn (animal fairy). you cannot tell me that canon katniss didn’t try to talk to the animals the first few time her dad took her out to the woods

annie - so silvermist (water fairy). maybe i just don’t have my thinking cap on but when i was writing the modern au it was so difficult for me to come up with water-related costumes for annie that wasn’t a mermaid, so silvermist was so perfect bc i feel like it’s totally diy-able

delly - iridessa (sunshine fairy). she is the queen of sunshine

madge - rosetta (garden fairy). first of all, i remember her being kinda sassy. and southern. perfect for madge undersee. also strawberries grow in gardens so that’s something canon i can sprinkle in

johanna - vidia (fast fairy). tbh i don’t have any canon backing for this one other than they’re both rough around the edges but ultimately are very caring people
