comics normally have a status quo that stick, but if you could change the status quo of the stories (for ex: having Huey, Dewey and Louie Duck growing up) how would you progress/and end the charachters's stories? like donald, daisy, gladstone, fethry, scrooge, brigitta, etc).
One of my ideas would be della duck returning from space, and scrooge and brigitta would eventually marry, what would be yours?
Hi, sorry to reply late again, but you have asked a good question and your idea is good. I thought something similar. Yes, comics have the status quo for their own reasons, because the changes would probably upset the readers a little, which is understandable to me. But the comics, that is, certain authors have given some of those suggestions as to what the future of the Duck family could be. One comic called "Stories Untold" (INDUCKS is D 2023-034) by author Maya Åstrup and artist Cèsar Ferioli Pelaez tells how Scrooge wanted to go into the future to see what Duckburg would look like in 50 years. He left using Gyro's watch and Gyro's time machine and he couldn't see with his own eyes that Duckburg had changed a lot, that many devices were being used that were made up like holograms and that was thanks to a man who worked with Scrooge (I forgot his name). Scrooge was even more startled when he saw that none of his family had aged but himself, HDL remained the same, as did Miss Quackfaster. Yes, Gyro and Magica worked together in that future as well. I think it's a very interesting comic.

Well, how would I imagine the future of Duckburg? To be honest, I don't know myself, but I think this is how the future in the Duck family would go:
Huey, Dewey and Louie Duck as teenagers would certainly be, but more like the Quack Pack version, since I wouldn't imagine other versions of them older than that. They would graduate from elementary school with honors and go to high school together. The same would be true of Daisy's nieces. You can see my drawings of them as teenagers on this side blog: https://ducktoonsfanart.tumblr.com/
Tumblr media
Yes, they would have different interests, but they would all act together, they would also help their Uncle Donald.
The marriage of Donald to Daisy Duck. Unfortunately, Disney prevented it from being shown at all, but I would certainly imagine that after a long time, Donald and Daisy would finally marry each other and have children (I think two, one boy, one girl). Yes, the final consent of Donald's and Daisy's parents would condition that and it can be said that there would also be a reconciliation of Donald's and Daisy's parents who were in conflict until now. Yes, Donald and Daisy would finally adopt their nephews and nieces as their own children, because they are their children.
Tumblr media
3. Scrooge's future - In one version, it would be that Scrooge would finally marry Brigitta after a long time, and in the other, Scrooge would be together with Brigitta, where they would go to Scotland in their parents' castle. He would give the inheritance between Donald, Donald's nephews, and Dickie Duck, Goldie's granddaughter. Giving Dickie a share of the inheritance would mean that he would finally reconcile with Goldie, an old love from the Klondike long ago and right an old wrong, and Dickie would also be a successful businessman and be able to run together with Loretta, Brigitta's niece. After all, there would be reconciliation between Scrooge and Magica and the old rivalry after more time. In my second variant, they would be pulled together in one place, and in the first one, there would definitely be an appeasement with the help of Brigitte, the future wife of Scrooge, since she is also a friend of Magica de Spell.
Tumblr media
4. Fethry and Gladstone - Fethry would find his love with Gloria Pascoalina and Dugan would be his adopted son. Gladstone would marry two women if possible, Linda Paper and Feather Mallard, his beloved companions. Shamrock would be his adopted son, otherwise he is Gladstone's nephew.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
5. Della Duck - In my opinion, she would still travel in space, but she would return home occasionally. It's just that Della herself chose to live in space, her unlimited journey. She would not forget her brother and her sons, but she would accept a different fate, and she could find comfort if her sons were with her brother, who would be a real parent for them. Of course, every time she returned home she would be welcomed home joyfully.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
6. Gus Goose, Abner Duck, and Grandma Duck - Gus would live in Duckburg more, but would continue to help Grandma Duck, but Abner Duck would take on more of the chores of taking care of Grandma Duck. Grandma Duck would continue to cook and take care of the farm, but her grandchildren would help her, since she was very old. Certainly still alive, but not as strong as before. Aber would certainly also be a trucker who would transport goods from time to time.
7. Other characters - Ludwig would live with Matilda alone, Gyro would be a successful inventor in Duckburg and find his love, and he would adopt his nephew Newton as his son. Glomgold's nephew Slackjack Snorehead would help Glomgold in times of need, and Rockerduck would prepare his nephews for future business management, although he would make complications for Scrooge's heirs, since he too has the right to do so (Aunt Eider).
Tumblr media Tumblr media
That would be my vision of the future for Duckburg and the Duck family, maybe I'll make a separate post about it someday, if I have enough time, what the future could be for Donald Duck, his friends and his family, as well as Duckburg himself. I already do that in my Quack Pack AU, by writing my fanfictions. It would certainly be a combination of Donald Duck comics, OG Ducktales and Quack Pack, my way.
So thank you for the idea and maybe you like my suggestions that I gave, they will definitely remain the best as they are shown in Donald Duck comics then, now and in the future. And maybe in the future we will see Donald's successors who will look a lot like Donald, Scrooge and Donald's nephews. This is certainly my opinion and I'm glad you asked. And sorry if there are things you don't agree with. But if you have anything else to ask, feel free to ask.

I absolutely love John D. Rockerduck.
And here's three stories to show why I think he's the best:
1. Life and Times of Scrooge (Chapter 4): King of the Copper hill (not technically about John, but like Howard is such a cool guy)(Inducks page)
2. The fortune of young Rockerduck (Inducks page)
3. La ballata di John D. Rockerduck (Inducks page)
What? Noo,,, Of course I didn't spend all morning searching for these three stories just to show why I like John D. Rockerduck.

One of Scrooge and John’s favorite pastimes is to compete in random 1v1 online auctions, except that John’s goal is to win and Scrooge’s is to bait John into spending massive amounts of money on the most useless junk ever.

Four Ultraheroes "I can't believe they can't tell it's them" screenshots. Also, love the sibling dynamic that Donald and Gladstone seem to have in a lot of comics. The cousins all seem to have that sort of dynamic, but it's just really funny seeing the "two kids who just can't stop messing with each other" from these two grown adults.

F.O.W.L. Appreciation Post
2017 DuckTales' take on this evil organization just blows the original DuckTales and Darkwing Duck version out of the water with its roster of characters and crucial role in the story. (The default male and female Egghead flunky designs and their base beneath an arcade even gives a Pokemon evil team vibe to them!)

A screenshot redraw but its the Comics X 87’ show mixed together!
I like to think this is one of the more smaller pictures found in the Billionaires Club where they’re acting the most civilized in a single picture frame
Immediately afterwards hands have been thrown😔
The original!

I’ve been eyeing this idea ever since I first saw this (I can’t for the life of me remember which episode it came from, so sorry 😭) and decided now’s the time!

Donald Duck as Hamlet - Donald Duck, his friends, family and girlfriend in roles from world literature - Donald Duck as Prince Hamlet, the tragic prince of Denmark based on the play of the same name by William Shakespeare - Mickey Mouse Presents - Classic Disney - Tribute - My style, redraw and my version - Duck comics and Duckverse
It's been a long time since I've done a drawing and cosplay ideas of my favorite characters in roles from world literature (fairy tales, fantasies, epics, poems, stories, tragedies, dramas, comedies, novels, etc.) so I decided to do something special and one of my favorite tragedies ever, which is certainly Hamlet, written by the brilliant English writer and playwright William Shakespeare, written between 1599 and 1601. By the way, I did this in connection with a given competition (contest) on Deviantart called "Mickey Mouse Presents" for last week, but I did one drawing, but it wouldn't be fair if I didn't do another drawing, so I did two drawings.
Shakespeare found inspiration for this tragedy in the "Life of Amleth" by Saxo Grammaticus, part of the Gesta Danorum, although the story itself dates back to the 13th century (and the chronicle itself to the 12th century), and in a translation into French published in 1570 by François de Belleforest. The action takes place mostly in the castle "Elsinore" (actually it's Kronborg Castle). It tells of Prince Hamlet, son of the king of the same name, who is poisoned by his brother Claudius, the same Claudius who took the throne and married Gertrude, Hamlet's mother. Hamlet defeated Norway and took part of the land for his Denmark, which he was supposed to rule, and was celebrated as a hero. Claudius had his chancellor Polonius, who had a son, Laertes, and a daughter, Ophelia. Hamlet himself was in love with Ophelia. However, one night the ghost of his father appeared to him, impersonating him, and told him that Claudius had killed him to take the throne and wife from him. Hamlet himself thought about how to get rid of Claudius so that he would not be removed, so he teamed up with his friends Horatio, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern to uncover Claudius's plot and Claudius's crime. He found it in the actors who played the play and when they showed it to King Claudius, he became enraged and sought the culprit responsible for it. Hamlet held the skull of his former friend Jester Yorick who said: "To be or not to be, that is the question now!" In one case, Hamlet, thinking it was Claudius, accidentally kills Polonius. After that, his love Ophelia went crazy and committed suicide herself, so that her brother Laertes would ask him for a duel. In the end, they had a duel, and King Claudius ordered the sword that Laertes would use to be poisoned, however Hamlet kills Claudius, Gertrude unknowingly drank the poison, and Laertes and Hamlet both end up dead at the end of the duel. Horatio, the servants and the actors are the only ones left alive and in the end Fortinbras, the king of Norway, arrives and takes over the throne of both countries. The tragedy itself is divided into five parts and has achieved great fame, and the play is held in many theaters around the world and many movies and series based on that drama have been made. We should not forget that "The Lion King" originates from Hamlet. More about it here: Hamlet.
Of course, the parody of Hamlet did not bypass Donald Duck comics, which has a comic based on it, more precisely on a play and a work. It is the Italian comic "Il principe Duckleto" from 2016, written by Giorgio Salati, drawn by the brilliant Paolo De Lorenzi and translated into several European languages, and in English it was recently translated and is divided into two parts. Yes, since that comic is intended for children, they had to cover up the unwanted scenes of killing, so it is reduced to just a magic potion in which the body disappears and becomes a spirit. Following this example and as inspiration as well as a significant work, I drew two drawings in which Donald Duck, his company and family play in a significant drama such as Hamlet. And I drew them as I imagined them, combining from the work itself, parody comics and the way people wore clothes during the Middle Ages and the Renaissance, although the action takes place during the 16th century in Hamlet. Donald Duck plays Hamlet because of his characterization and holds a duck's skull. Daisy Duck plays Ophelia as his girlfriend, Gladstone Gander plays Laertes, Scrooge McDuck plays Hamlet's father who is also a ghost, Fethry Duck and Gus Goose play Rosencrantz and Guildenstern, Brigitta MacBridge plays Queen Gertrude, John D. Rockerduck plays Uncle Claudius the usurper king, Ludwig von Drake is Polonius, Gyro Gearloose is Horatio, Abner Whitewater Duck is Fortinbras, Grandpa Beagle plays the commander-in-chief, and the Beagle Boys are the guards, Grandma Duck (Elvira Coot) plays the leader of the cast, and Donald's nephews (Huey, Dewey and Louie Duck) and Daisy's nieces (April, May and June Duck) are themselves little actors. Yes, I took the Dutch version of Daisy's nieces if anyone asks, since that's still the best version of themselves for me. There are more characters that could be in Hamlet, but these are the most significant and as much as I can fit in these two drawings of mine. Sorry for some of the mistakes I made, I was in a hurry and after a long time I drew Grandpa Beagle and his grandsons the Beagle Boys, combining their versions from Ducktales 1987 and the Topolino comics. Anyway, I hope you like it!
If you like these drawings, feel free to like and reblog this, just don't copy the same ideas and versions without mentioning me, thanks! Also a big thank you to my dear @paolodelorenzi, for the great inspiration he gave me to do Donald Duck as Hamlet in my own way and for his great comic book that he drew. And this is a gift to all of you who love Hamlet, Shakespeare's works as well as Donald Duck himself!
