I just love working with my out-of-town clients to spend time in my beautiful Colorado! The Hicks family was so much fun too - Harris climbed every rock and tree he could find, and Aaron wasn’t far behind him. We had fun finding walking sticks and looking for wildlife - and we did actually spot a deer! What I can say,a that is super apparent with this family, is that you just have to let kids be kids in pictures instead of trying to force them into too many poses. Amanda lives in Wisconsin but was able to be a traveling nurse this summer in the very same hospital I am in. The first day I was here, before we knew how long this journey would be, Amanda texts me saying she is pretty sure she just saw my husband who was trying to find my room… and was I in the hospital?? 😂😂 Small world!!!! My cousin Ian found his forever-girl and I am so so happy for them. These two both have such a big heart to serve and both do jobs that look out for young people in scary situations (like re-connecting Mexican children who were separated from their families ) and running camps for youths with various disabilities.
