I first tried the skin perfector in 230 Beige shade because I have a slight tan and figured it would suit me well. Came to find out my face was not matching my neck. It was too dark. So I tried a shade down, the 220 Cashmere. Its a bit lighter and its actually recommended to go lighter when choosing between two shades. Even with the shade matching snafu I saw that on my very first try I noticed a difference in my skin. One layer showed improvement in minimizing some large pores around my nose and covered some brown acne spots not completely with with one layer but enough to see that for fuller coverage layering could be achieved easily. 

This picture shows the difference. Even on my nose there is a difference in how visible the pores are. It looks quite natural so its perfect for an everyday look and that’s how I’ve been using it on and off for several weeks. Specially now with the hot & humid weather we are having. 

The applicator which is also the way the product is dispense. This makes it easier to take just one product on the go. The cap closes tight no chance it would open on it own. Takes a few clicks to dispense. Dispense as needed. Its small enough to each under the eye and dotting product as easily as it is to draw lines on bigger areas. 

Like I said, I’ve been going for a less makeup is better with this hot weather. The Julep Cushion Complexion is a great product for this weather because I can hide any imperfection completely or just enough that I feel comfortable being out. If I sweat or get my face wet I can easily reapply the product all over or just were I need it. Not sure what I am going to do with the rest of the products I didn’t get to use. I want to try to see if I can contour with the darker one or give them to my family members to see if they like the product.

Thanks Crowdtap for sending Julep's Cushion Complexion 5-in-1 Perfector which is quick to apply and blends to seamlessly flawless long-lasting buildable coverage! The cushion tip applicator let's you easily conceal, correct, illuminate, blur and brighten on the go all in one product. I use Light Alabaster 100 on my under eyes to cover my dark circles, and Porcelain 110 for my foundation that covers my redness, but either shade would work perfectly for my fair. Julep's Shade Finder works perfectly. The first time I used the 5 in 1 pen, I went shopping with my son. He recently found that he likes to pick his own clothes, and we shopped hours in the Florida heat. I got to look in numerous dressing room mirrors through out the day and my makeup looked perfect even under the unforgiving bright fluorescent lights! Julep did an amazing job with this product that I use daily now. I get precise application that blends seamlessly and is non drying or oily. I truly am amazed and dumbfounded by Julep Cushion Complexion. When I first received five different shades from @crowdtap for free in return for my honest review, the claims we're almost too good to be true. After testing the Cushion Complexion out daily over the past few weeks, I have come to fallen in love with it & seriously cannot imagine my makeup routine without it. It is a 5-in-1 multi-tasker that conceals any redness, imperfections, under eye darkness, blurs pores, brighten skin over time with turmeric, and illuminates, all in one easy step. I was actually really shocked within a week to see some hyperpigmentation and old acne scarring I had start to fade away rather significantly, due to the brightening effect of the tumeric. Not to mention this product is extremely lightweight, never heavy or cakey. Not once did I ever feel like I'm wearing a mask, yet it is medium to fill buildable coverage. It has an almost liquid to powder feel but more like a silky silicone primer. Reminded me or Smashbox Iconic Primer and Tatcha Water Cream in one. I have combination skin and it never clung to my dry patches nor slipped off where I was more oily. I will say I do agree with the instructions on the @julepbeauty website about making sure after you apply this product with the sponge tip applicator, to use your finger to dab the product on or else it is very easy to wipe away. The finish is natural even though it is sort of mystifying in a way but never dull or flat.
