I love the different tones, and I have to admit I was scared of the bright colors since I usually go for nude tones. The colors looked very bright in the bottle, but after putting them on, they gave my lips a natural pink-ish look. I must admit the red one, Dew Scarlet, is my favorite! It looks very bright, but it definitely fades after a while to a soft, red hue, very natural. As you can see, they have great pigment, and even after double cleansing, they are still visible. Happy Saturday! I’m sharing a few items for my #MOTD, including some new products sent from @onomiebeauty. _________________________ I first tried Onomie 2-3 years ago through a starter pack and loved their Eye Illuminating ACE, a brightening cream for undereyes that also contains Vitamins A, C and E. Happy to use it again! I’ve also been playing with the Bright Concealing Elixir and found it a little tricky to get right, but I have the hang of it now and it really helps disguise my tired -mommy -undereye -bags 😆 I’m impressed with the staying power, too! They also sent their new Boosting Lip + Cheek Sticks. So many new things to play with! Thank you, @onomiebeauty ♥️ _________________________ Also in the MOTD is @marcbeauty Lash Lifter- Gel Mascara. Most mascaras don’t hold the curl and also end up smearing on me. I’m like, what’s the point?! 😤 I used a sample of this and loved that it didn’t smear and also held the curl!!! It’s made in Korea, so I spent some time trying to find a Korean dupe but gave up. So, I bought the full size and that’s a big deal b/c I rarely ever buy mascara! It doesn’t give a dramatic effect- it’s a natural look, but is perfect for my needs. The Sephora reviews on this are horrible, btw. 😆Just goes to show that everyone’s needs are different, you can’t solely go by online reviews and sometimes you’ve just got to try the products yourself. _________________________ Has that ever happened to you, where you end up loving a mostly hated product. Or, the reverse where you hate a very well liked product?!
