Since JJK both manga and anime use lots of parallelism and analogy scattered around, I've been thinking why at the very start of Red Scale episode they took particular close-up to this sign

Then Yuuji running passed the sign, where his shadow intercepted with it. A similar pose of a man running.

Taking it out of context, the sign was one man, one body that is split into two parts. Depicting Yuuji's body who is housing two souls inside.

Then at the very end of the episode, when Yuuji was unconscious at death's door, we are once again given a close-up of the sign...

Now showing the sign was split in half...the body that was sectioned into two before now left with only 1 side... with blood splattered on it. Foreshadowing whose part is now left more on the upfront and the shitshow that's about to go down...

Hyunjin has been losing ever since he could remember, he had made peace with every facet of despair. Sorrows linger on his pillow when he goes to sleep and stares right back at him in the mirror in the mornings. It’s in the bags forming under his eyes, dragging with his wasted hours wide awake and in the pages of his journal. Filled with his angry outbursts and lines of utter melancholy.

Hyunjin is doused in blues until you’re here.

“What?” he spits, voice laced with faux indifference that doesn’t even alter the twinkle in your eyes.

“I got you groceries! Let’s cook together.” Your cheerful tone is the complete opposite to how he feels inside and when you don’t even wait for an answer and invite yourself in, he rolls his eyes.

Hyunjin rolls his eyes at you yet his heart pulses against his ribs, reminding him of how you stole his heart as you walk past him with a bounce in your step. As if you didn’t just tumble into his cave of misery. As he follows your trail, almost like he’s helplessly tied to you his thoughts wander. Falling into questions upon questions of how his soul betrayed him first. Mingled with yours without his permission.

Somewhere between his overbearing thoughts and you emptying the bags of groceries in his cramped disarranged kitchen, you had stepped impossibly closer to him. Arms brushing against his and Hyunjin wears his insouciance like a necklace. Pretends you’re not the reason his heart almost beats its way out of his chest. It’s such a merciless act, one that only you are capable of.

He’s known you for months now, long enough to notice how you always hum under your breath whenever your hands are busy with something, just like right now.

Long enough to notice how your eyes crinkle before your lips turns upwards into a smile. Long enough to know you only smile like that at him. Long enough to know even now, when he looks like he’s in a boundless battle with a familiar dark monster that lives inside him clad with depression; you still manage to look at him like he’s the brightest star within the universe.

“You broke your promise,” he’s known you long enough to understand the despondency coating your words.

He conjectures about when his existence has dwindled into nothing but waiting for you and then pushing you out the door, only to linger by at it with an aching heart pleading for a flicker of your smile.

"i'm bad at keeping promises" he answers honestly, and then he waits, appareled with indestructible ambition for this to be your last straw, for you to finally get angry at him and leave.

He's attempting to push you out his system again, a failing task he takes a hit at each time he sees you.

“it’s okay.” You say, with a smile that blends in with longing in your eyes.

“it’s not okay.”

“If it’s you it’s okay.” Hyunjin grows quiet at that, and his hand itches on the counter, to reach for you in deprivation of you. but then you move past him to start working on dinner and his hand curls on itself, withering away in inherent weakness.

And so Hyunjin starts digging his grave with knuckles bloodied by your heartbreak, it is a familiar territory, he digs in anger, hatred for himself and for his overflowing feelings for you. he hopes to bury himself right next to his broken promise of seeing you more.

"Have you ever been in love?" you ask, hours later when you’re both on the couch and a movie he can’t focus on plays on his small and old tv. Too occupied with thinking about the space between you two.

“yeah,”

"What was it like for you?” you tilt your head towards him, curiosity lighting up your eyes and when he catches them with his, he feels himself melting into a sugary dream, treacherous enough to have him kneel into addiction.

It coaxes forth his illusions of making you happy someday.

"Awful. Felt like I was drowning underwater and no matter how hard I tried I couldn't breathe."

Sympathy colors your face and he wants to look away from it, to run.

"I wonder if it will feel different with me." your softness cuts through the air and yet it sits heavy on his chest, it has him wishing he could block his ears with his hands "I wonder if you were in love with me would you feel like taking your first breath after drowning?" your words fall with enough vulnerability to have his chest tightening.

His hearts weeps, dripping with desirous of you. it begs him to give up this stoic act of his, but Hyunjin knows he will forever remain unworthy for even a particle of you. you have stolen his heart the moment he saw you, ensnaring him with the sound of your laughter and your endless chatter. There’s an aching void in his being that nothing can fill but the endearment in your eyes and there’s tenderness in your soul that Hyunjin’s cold hands will surely destroy.

His monster will eat you alive, he’s a peril you must avoid, so he sacrifices himself instead.

“Sorry, that was weird.” You chuckle, looking away and his silence stays, becoming one with the noise from the tv.

Every time you walk out his door, Hyunjin prays you won’t come back and every time you come back, Hyunjin yearning grows. He’s doused in blues and then longing for you. You manage to mesh with his blood and it's unjust.

to my understanding the reason why Shitterton is called that relates to the fact that 'shit' is a very very old word that wasn't originally considered rude; its just the old english word for poop that underwent a shift wherein ig people started using more 'delicate' euphemisms. so in its original context it was equivalent to 'faecestown' which as the anglo-saxons were ig fairly frank about pooping wasn't viewed as a weird thing to call a town.

interestingly i gather there's some evidence that 'shit' was originally a euphemistic term as its believed to originate from a verb meaning 'to separate' which if true would mean that it's actually got a reasonably similar derivation to something like 'defecate'? and if so possible ppl started using it in place of another cruder term that's not around any more but that's pure conjecture!

But in real life…what they have shown us in public, it appears First is the one playfully initiating the jealous vibe. And First is an indulgent bestie who cannot say no to Khaotung (we will be hard pressed to find even one moment of First denying his soulmate anything 🤷🏽‍♀️)

However, one thing I know for sure, Khaotung loves First just as much as First loves him….

So I was thinking abt Yuri’s theory abt pacts and most humans being allergic to demonic particles causing them to die. If his speculation is correct then doesn’t that mean people planning on making pacts could try using immunotherapy?

Sooo just imagine. A few months pass and there’s still no hint of her curse being cured. MC doesn’t want to jump the gun but she wants to have a back up plan of her own instead of just trusting the institute to cure her curse, so she starts considering making a pact. She doesn’t wanna risk just happening to be one of the few that aren’t allergic to demonic particles (it’s not like her lucks all that great after all) so she seeks a ghoul who has a blood type that is compatible with hers (or she just has AB+ blood so she can accept any blood) and is just trying to not seem suspicious as she awkwardly asks if they’ll let her take their blood samples for months until the last week (or earlier depending on wether she even knows how to find a demon to make a pact with) before her year limit is up so she can build resistance. Whether she tells them her true or intentions or not tho may depend on the person.

Like I can just imagine that she’s type O (O- if you wanna give her less options) so she’s forced to ask Tohma, Ren, or Taiga who also have type O blood.

Or having to ask Leo or Romeo for whatever reason and you can only convince them by:

A) Giving them a reason they’d believe and care enough about

B) Telling the truth

C) Doing their bidding

Or

D) A combination of C and another one

It also makes me wonder how Yuri would respond. I’m guessing he would know why without having to question you for long since he is the one that told you about his hypothesis. Now whether he would initially refuses cuz he knows he can find a cure or he agrees right away to prove his conjecture is the question.

That's actually such a good theory, too! I honestly think MC could be honest with almost all the ghouls, except Kaito and Luca. They would most definitely be 100% against the idea of her making a pact. Maybe Alan and Haru too, since they have a protective streak on them that would probably make them very against the idea. So maybe she would have to hide her intentions from these guys. But the rest could pretty much be aware of her goal. Some would be more resistant, but then they could just shrug and think "ah whatever it's worth a shot ig 🤷"

It would still force her into a bind, though 💀 it's not like Leo or Romeo would just accept it without getting something from it. But I don't think they would be against her using their blood like that. They would call her crazy for sure, but they would hardly stop her. It's not like they care about the poor girl all that much 😭

I think Yuri would be very conflicted. In one hand, he is adamant that he can cure the curse. But in the other, this would be the perfect way to prove his theory. He doesn't seem like a person who creates a plan B for any of his scientific endeavors, but maybe because it plays into something very important to him, he could accept it.

Although I wonder if he ever tried using his own blood to search for the specific antibodies in order to check whether or not his theory is valid.

Oh, but he would definitely need demon antigens to see which antibodies latch on them, and getting that must be very hard (I don't think Darkwick has a demon sample at all). yeah nevermind, immunotherapy for a probable allergy is the only option 💀

I wonder what types of adverse effects she would have to face though! Like, since she'd be building immunity, her body would be working overtime to fend off those antigens. How would that appear in her body? Would she get high fevers, vomiting, weakness, and other cold-like symptoms, like when we take a flu vaccine?

The thing is, she would need to start the therapy right away, so she can have at least those last 10 months of intense treatment. The mermaid guy did it for only a few weeks I think and it went horribly wrong 💀

I do think there's some plausible deniability intact when it comes to a nude selfie of Dan on his own phone. He knows disclosing that as a thing that exists will make people conjecture that it was sent to Phil, but without it being on Phil's phone, he's avoiding confirming that outright. All it says in isolation is that Dan is a sexually active adult, which we basically know, and enough people will be like "but it COULD be for someone who isn't Phil!" that Dan can disappear from the conversation. Like when I sit down for two minutes to play with Garbanzo Bean until he's occupied and then I can sneak away.

However, there's also the lace robe photoshoot. They always talk about that as though Phil was doing it under duress, but the fact remains that he was doing it. Just a question, a serious one, for you or anyone else here. Sorry, this is a long post.

If you are totally okay with whoever S wants to date and you are just happy for him, then why do you allow people on your blog to trash these women? I know a couple of the women he's supposed to have dated have done some things to and/or said some things about Sam that were bad. But most of them still follow him (if they did before) and most of them have said nothing bad about him. Why not defend them? We don't know for sure which of them he dated casually, more seriously, or at all. It's mostly conjecture. Why are the women always attacked?

If we all do really love Sam and his work AND support whatever type of love life he chooses, then why do we look for every bad trait about the women associated with him? I do think a couple of them maybe wanted him for his money or fame, but all of them didn't do that. Sam is a grown-ass man, and while I do think he is a nice and sweet people pleaser, I don't think he is gullible enough to only go out with women who want to use him or who are trashy. It's terrible for women to attack other women when the only reason they do it is based on conjecture.

I know many here won't agree with me, but when I look at Katie , Abbie, and Mackenzie I don't see fake, plastic , bougie women. There are others we have seen him with who also don't look that way. Why would we assume he's attracted to those types? Just because he looks at or follows women who might fit that type, doesn't mean that's the type of woman he really wants a relationship with. The women I see on IG often just remind me of what has always appeared in men's' magazines, it's just easier now to post your own photos. Much of that is fantasy and men are really visual.

Personally, I just don't believe he has dated every woman associated with him in the last 10 years. I just don't. I also don't believe he has dated someone if we have no actual proof. Being around someone, friends with someone, hanging out with someone, having a meal with someone doesn't always mean dating them. Everyone jumps to conclusions EVERY SINGLE TIME he is rumored to be connected to a woman. I have even read where Sam said there are numerous scenarios about who he has dated or is dating and many of them aren't true.

Sure, it's fun to speculate. But when it moves to attacking these women, that's too far. We don't know Sam or any of these women personally- at least most of us don't. We only know what they may share on SM. I find it appalling the ugly, hateful things I have seen written about Karina Elle and Monika Clarke in the last year or so, for example. Unless someone here has more proof than I have seen - real proof- we don't know IF or how long he actually dated either of them. We don't know if he dated one, but not the other. We don't know if he dated them both at the same time. Only Sam and the women know for sure. Without irrefutable proof, we don't know what happened between them. Someone dropping an anon that he was at a football game with his hands on KE's ass, or that he was spotted in Brooklyn with a tall, beautiful brunette shopping but with NO photos just isn't proof. I'm sorry, but if you can hang around a location long enough to KNOW it's Sam and KNOW the identity of the woman, you can get a photo. I know many say they didn't take a photo because they didn't want to invade their privacy. Well if that's true, then why post about it on a fan blog???? I would guess that any fan who may have seen him with a date and asked for a photo with him- who genuinely likes and respects Sam-- probably knows who he was with and has chosen not to post it anywhere out of respect for Sam and the woman.

I fan over him too. Sometimes I love the speculation too. But these women are real human beings and we need to remember that. And if we love and respect Sam, we need to respect his own choices. He doesn't need my permission to date or care about any woman. But if I respect him, I shouldn't trash a woman he chooses to spend time with.

Anon, you've mistaken me for some other blogs. This is PURV, one of my number one rules for my blog is that I don't allow any hate toward Sam or Cait OR Tony OR any woman Sam dates. I delete hate comments other people may have left on my posts, and I warn the person that if they do it again, I'll block them. Sometimes, people will reblog a post and leave a hate comment, but there's nothing I can do there because I can't delete a reblog. But the person will automatically get blocked.

So, please pay better attention or realize you're mistaking me for other blogs, I don't tolerate hate for the women Sam dates at all. If anything, out of respect for him. As for your specific comment about not knowing whether Karina or Monika dated Sam. Um, the sighting at the football game was not an Anon. It was an identifiable real person who was at the game and saw them together and their interactions. A source I directly talked to. She has no horse in this race, no reason to lie. I got the info from her directly and I know her full identity. So, there is NO doubt her sighting was real. As for Monika, there are PICS of Sam and Monika KISSING at a restaurant in New York. And I also DMed with the photographer who TOOK the pics. He confirmed neither Sam or Monika's people called him. He's a photographer active in New York and gets around a lot. The pics are real and the kiss was real.

So, while you're right that there are some women associated with Sam where it's only speculation with no proof...the two you mentioned there IS proof. And plenty of others as well. Simply search my blog or do a Google Search. There's more proof for Karina and Monika than the two instances I mentioned. And he didn't date them at the same time.

And to reiterate: I, Purv, DO NOT allow any hate on my blog toward ANY woman Sam dates. And certainly no hate for Cait's husband, Tony. Apparently that wasn't clear to you. I hope it is now. You could see she was putting too much effort and not getting the same in return. In Grant's defense, I think he was relief when she asked for the divorce, cause he was very quick to erase any sign of her existence or their marriage in his IG. Prior the rumors of her being with Ashlyn started, and even prior to Cannes, many of her likes from IG were about stopping letting people making you feel small and unwanted, or to stop letting other's define you or tell you how you should feel or invalidate your feelings. So the marriage was faded to die, Ashlyn was just the last drop.

6) Sophia looked happy in the events she went and in recent podcasts while Ashlyn is avoiding the drama from fans, that are fed by cryptic messages from Kyle Krieger, focusing on attacking solely Ashlyn (If you think about it, we didn't heard Ali's side of the story directly from her, cause the only thing she did was posting a vague message and let the internet helldogs create stuff. But she didn’t really said anything, which per se is weird overall)

7) it looks like it's a serious deal for them

Anything outside of these is pure speculation. We didn't even have one picture of them as a couple to try a guess of how they are, the only thing out is just posts on social media that is being taken out of context to stir more drama and people online are falling very quick in this non-sense, already claiming that Ashlyn is broken and Sophia is paying her bills, or that Ash is going to live in California with Sophia or that Ashlyn was fired from Gotham.... None of these are true and it's also none of our business. I know this is a forum and a place for conjectures, but conjecutures are just guesses, nothing more nothing less, they are not true and we can't know if they are because none of us have the big picture, and probably not even Sophia and Ashlyn have that figured out just yet. Just conjecture/speculation on my part, I think that G doesn’t feel the need to post bunches of IG posts with her and B because she is more secure in her relationship with B. I think that with GR she felt the need to stroke his ego which she felt would help him “like” her more. With B, she knows he loves her unconditionally.

Namjoon on ig is pretty funny, he used to post this friend with a heart sticker on his face, then a story from his birthday with some candles in his house, then one plate shared in two, then he deleted everything so they probably went through a breakup and next album gonna be heartbreaking. I’m really thinking about this feeling of not being a freak. I don’t feel like I don’t belong here, like I do in Australia. It’s funny. Like I don’t feel « at home » I’m very aware that I don’t even speak German and I don’t know anything about Vienna, but it’s just a vibe I get on the street where I don’t feel like I have to force a place for myself. Idk how to put it.

Like it’s a relaxing feeling, but it takes some getting used to I imagine. I just feel like I don’t look ‘different’. I just look like a standard Austrian kid. Maybe not Austrian, just European. Thé guys here have clear skin, defined facial structure and are pretty well dressed. I feel like a normal guy here. Maybe Australia is too butch for me, but in Europe I feel like I slot nicely into the middle. Ofc all of this is conjecture and based on simple vibe observations, but it’s a good start ig.
