Spoiler Alert for the entirety of Narcos (doesn't include Narcos:Mexico) [Serious Content Warnings: real world footage of terrorism, death, and the war on drugs. Gunshots, whipping, considerable blood, dead bodies, Drugs.] Side Note: I don't want this to come off as some kind of a "Pablo Escobar was a cool, badass gangster" edit, nor a tribute to America's involvement in foreign countries. I wanted this to represent the solemnity and violence of the actual drug war and how Narcos presented it. I say this because some of the edits I used for footage didn't really seem to draw that distinction and because, towards the end, real world footage used in the show comes up. (This may seem contradictory, given the nature of the thumbnail, but I'm currently given only three automatically selected thumbnail options, unless I want to go to the length of manually uploading one, and the final thumbnail worked the best of the three. Show: Narcos Music: "Firestarter" by Torre Flim (DE STAAT) (covering a song by The Prodigy) Background: I first ran into the Torre Film cover of Firestarter in the intro to Just Cause 3, and that game ended up reminding me of a lot of elements in Narcos, so the song overlapped very well. Honestly, I might one day do a breaking bad edit with this cover, as that also lines up tremendously well. Personal Project
