Heard from @neunhofferart that some people were interested in seeing storyboards from the Yaz/Sammy break-up scene. I can't show the whole thing, but here are some screenshots with captions.

I understand that some fans were upset by the break-up, but honestly, these 2 have had some glaring communication issues since S1, so it seemed only natural that all these unresolved issues would eventually come to a head. It's devastating, just like any other long-term relationship that comes to an end.

Literally my only nitpick about CT is that I wish they included Yaz's ankle injury and obvious chronic pain after TLR in some way. I guess you could say they did in the way that she (apparently) stopped track? Since she didn't talk about it much?? But it would've been nice rep for us chronic pain havers from injures that didnt heal properly 😔😔

So I watched all the episodes up to episode 7 and had the draw this cuz the idea jst couldn't leave my mind.

Ladies, Ben is grieving and yall is kissing? 😭 /j

I haven't seen anyone mention the fact that Sammy gave literal mouth to mouth resuscitation to a kentrosaurus and while Kenji was shocked at what he was seeing, Yaz didn't blink an eye.

(not to mention that kentrosaurus got more of sammy than yaz did this season)

Thought I’d try drawing Yaz’s Chaos Theory design since I hadn’t yet! I was nervous at first but I think it turned out well! Maybe I should draw the rest of the camp fam next lol 🦕

It's cuffin' season, so it's time for some big boys. Here are the aforementioned genderbends to accompany @tio-trile's girls: Jaz, Sam, and Manhattan (complete with a shirtless variant!)

My favourite thing about this ending? Brooklynn stalled because she knew Ben would be there.

She had absolute faith that Ben, the shy weird kid who found himself and grown to be someone she could always depend on, would be there without a doubt to help her when she needs him.

The smirk on her face? Ben had been one of the only camper to take interest in her work- he’d told her about Dark Jurassic and from the short flashback in season 1 you could tell they had fed off each others similar interests.

I absolutely love that they managed to shed more light on their friendship in this series than they had in Camp Cretaceous, and with limited screen time together.

Bonus: Yaz and Brooklynn friendship

(Just realised the the three who struggled the most making friends were the ones willing to risk everything for Brooklynn whilst the two who were quickest to love were the ones who couldn’t do it again)
