Kuma The Last Buccaneer & King The Last Lunarian

It makes me think of how similar their histories are. They both are from thought extinct tribes who opposed or stood in contrast to the government, were made custody of the government through slavery or experimentation, and managed to escape it because of a long time comrade they had met in captivity. While Kuma pretended to be a loyal servant to the government (while secretly plotting against it), King openly opposed it by being Kaido's second hand man. Just imagine if King and Kuma could have met, they could have found commonality in being the last of their race and being subjected to cruelty just because of their ancestry. King is fully Lunarian (unless said otherwise) while Kuma is only half, but both ancestries make them huge targets for the government.

And again it makes one think maybe the Buccaneers and Lunarians were fellow allies, which would be a fun to think but also sad since this would also target them for genocide. The fact not only Lunarians were the subject of genocide just spells out how horrible the government is and how they deserve to fall. Showing that King is the only one subjected to this horrible treatment and that so many like him probably had to go to an opportunity to be free or be subjected to the government's cruelty. And even worse how again they are subjected to government cruelties in their adult life. Kuma was forced into being a mindless robot who couldn't cry like his child self did while King himself was once again tied up helpless, while tortured when he encountered Green Bull.

Even if King is evil, you can't tell me it's sad to see him again being subjected to cruelty by the government and it shows how vulnerable he is to being captured once again when you see how easily Green Bull took him and Queen down. The same thing with seeing the World Nobles abuse him over and over again because you see how these men were treated in their younger lives and you hate how the government are subjecting to them over again, especially due to their status as the last known members of their race. It is a testament to how evil and inhumane the government is and why their fall will be cathartic.
