I finished reading the Dungeon Meshi manga on Friday night and I hadn't posted about it yet because I had to gather my thoughts.

I loved it a lot, most of the characters were absolutely fabulous, even if I'm never going to remember all of their names.

I especially loved Laios and Marcille and definitely ship them together.

I'm going to try to convince my mom and sister to watch the anime, but I don't know if my sister while watch something unfinished.

And, as usual, I hate, despise, absolutely loathe a character, but that's going under a cut.

It's Kabru. As an autistic person, his dishonesty and not being upfront about his thoughts and feelings makes him so, so irritating, and he never seems to fix it.

I trained @kpop-huntrix-rumi, @miragepiercer, and @z-z-z-zoeyy, the famous girls of HUNTR/X you know today.

I'm very grateful to @bobby-best-manager for looking after the girls, even if he has no knowledge on demons. He supports them with all his heart, and I’m glad he does.

But I mainly trained Rumi.

Rumi’s mother, Miyeong, had Rumi and passed shortly after. The problem wasn’t that she had Rumi. It was that Rumi’s father was a demon.

And I hated that.

But I loved Miyeong like a sister, and I love Rumi, too.

So I promised to keep what was left of Miyeong safe.

That happened to be Rumi. I took Rumi in, despite everything that I was taught telling me to kill her.

And she had some… “health issues,” physically. But I couldn’t accept them.

I made her hide them. And now, they’ve all accepted her. And I have too.

All of her.

Except… the fact that she’s in love with a Saja Boy.

Zoey as well.

Mira, thankfully, doesn’t seem to feel any romantic attraction to any of the boys in that group, but I can tell two of them into her (woman’s instinct).

The Saja Boys are a group that you also probably know, and they were created solely to steal fans from us.

Not that any normal fan would understand.

I do respect them as a group though (no I don’t, they’re demons), so I’ll tag them here.

Jinu: @theprettyprinceofsin - He is the boy Rumi has fallen for, and he’s the leader along with the main vocalist.

Mystery: @mystery-is-the-best-saja - He is the boy Zoey has fallen for, and he’s a back up dancer and vocals (or maybe a back up rapper?)

Romance: @abbys-favorite-saja - He is one of the boys who has fallen for Mira, and he’s a back up dancer and vocals.

Abby: @thehandsomesaja - He is the other boy who has fallen for Mira, and he’s also a back up dancer and vocals.

Baby: @googoogagamotherfucker - He doesn’t seem to have any interest to any of the girls (thank the honmoon) and he’s their maknae and rapper.

I found this online. I haven’t seen this in a while. It was from a concert, way back when. Glad I found it.

Hey Kachi, first, thanks for the reblog! Second, out of curiosity, what are your thoughts on Chrono x Marle x Lucca?

As for Crono/Marle/Luca (Cromarlucca?), its a pretty awesome ship! The present trio got a rlly cool and wholesome dynamic through the game and it'ts neat to think of them growing fonder of eachother and eventually getting together. (Plus Marle is a princess she can have two bad bitches if she wants to)

I also tend to think of Crono n Lucca being more on the platonic side or in a qpr/bromance, but that can also work in a poly ship (but them being romantic is also cool)

So yea! Good ship :D

GranEssex Live Konoa Reaction (part 1)

Henlo I am deciding to do a live reading of @kachikirby ‘s series GranEssex Chronicles

I’m gonna try and go through the entire series, starting with the first book, “Wings of Beginning”

This is my first full-on live blogging(?) post, so idk if theres any way I should be doing it but f*ck it we ball

Anyway there’s a lot of text so behind a cut it goes!

(SPOILER WARNING cuz i’ll also be talking about what goes down in the book to give context for my ramblings)

Chapter 1

Note: Gonna try to use punctuation for now but this will probably disintegrate as time goes on (me hate punctuation on tumblr blog ooga booga). Also this live blog is pretty summary-heavy, but I’ll try to tone that down in future posts.

I’ve technically read up until chapter 4, but I’m gonna go ahead and backtrack to look over the previous chapters again and give my reaction on those :D it would feel weird to just start it halfway through anyway. The chapter opens up with Kurabe (if u don’t know who that is you should probably go check out Kachi’s account) going on a mission to eliminate a criminal group only to see that everyone’s just been absolutely bodied by some blue toddler with a stick. Kurabe’s like, “hey I need to take u in for questioning” and the kid is like “nuh uh” and tries clubbing her to death, but obviously Kurabe is stronger so she just blocks him. Even though I was only, like, two sentences in, my attention was already grabbed; I was very excited to see what happened next :D Anyway, Kurabe gets one of her swords knocked out of her hand by the kid, and she’s just like “ah.” But then she teleports behind him and chops him in the back of the head with her hand, causing the kid to faint. I was kinda surprised that she just knocked him out like that, but I guess it makes sense because she had a job to do lmao. Anyway she gets back to her ship and Mercury is there and, upon seeing the child, is just like “HUH”. Kurabe says that he’s fine and only has minor injuries, so she goes to her room to patch him up a little. She wondered why someone would leave their kid on a planet with so much criminal activity, and I honestly agreed because I was just as confused 💀 who leaves a whole toddler on the planetary equivalent of Detroit??? Insane, bro. So anyway she cleans him up and after he wakes up, Kurabe says good morning to him and the kid just immediately goes

Anyway, Kurabe tells him to calm down and asks his name, to which the child responds, “Meta.” It was pretty much implied from the start that this was Meta Knight, but I was still like “OOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH ITS HIM” Anyway cue Meta being suspicious of Kurabe and Kurabe trying her best to calm him down. I’m watching this whole interaction go down and honestly wondering if Meta’s just gonna straight up maul Kurabe, but thankfully he doesn’t. Kurabe’s maternal urges start taking over and she offers to raise Meta- err, I meannn… train him (because I can’t imagine it would be good to send him back to space Detroit 💀) and Meta asks if he can stay on her ship forever. Kurabe is like “yeah sure” and then after talking, she helps show him around his new room and then they sit down and have a meal together. The image of Meta playing with the spaghetti was really cute :D Meta makes mention of Kurabe’s sword and Kurabe tells him that she’d train him. However, she did warn him that he training was so intense that students have quit or even DIED because of it (which is…. Scary /not neg). He agrees to the training. Meta then got kinda tired so he went to go to sleep, and as Kurabe was tucking him in, he grabs onto her and they end up falling asleep together :DD Overall this was a very cute chapter and it does a great job of grabbing the attention.

WIP Wednesday The White Tayra (original story)

"I'll leave you two to it then," Olivia said.

Knapp nodded at her with almost comical solemnity, but Gabe simply waved at her over his shoulder, eyes too busy tracing the glimmering depths of the crystal he was examining to bother looking up. It was rare to find a flawed crystal in the batches delivered to Chende's ships, but all it took was one mistake to blow an entire ship cloud-high. When it came down to it, there were no more important sailors aboard than the crystal technicians.

For a bit I’ve been feeling bad that mainly my fics all consist of Spinaraki and Dabihawks and I just felt like I was writing it too much. Then, as I was scrolling through the tags of it today on Tumblr I just went, “fuck it. these are the things I ship, I ain’t writing too much of it. If someone has a problem with it then they can shove off.”

So yeah don’t feel bad about all of your fics revolving around the same ships

Origin

Manco Capac was the son of the Sun God Inti and the Moon Goddess Mama Quilla. Manco Cápac himself was worshipped as a fire and a Sun God. Together, the gods lives in the realm known as Hanan Pacha. This realm is where the Incan Gods resided. These gods referred to the Earthly realm as Kay Pacha, and watched over the realm with great interest.

Manco Cápac, along with his brothers and sisters, were sent to the earth by Inti and emerged from the mystical caves of Paqariq Tampu, high above Lake Titicaca in the Andes. Manco carried with him the Tapac-Yauri, a staff of wondrous magical powers, forged by the god of metal Urcaguary and enchanted by Inti himself. They were instructed to create a Temple of the Sun in the spot where the staff sank into the earth. With the staff, they traveled far and wide, facing many indescribable horrors along the way, and uniting with other tribes encountered in their travels. Eventually, the Manco Capac found the spot that would eventually become the Peruvian city of Cuzco, where along with their worshipers, built a temple in honor of their father, the Sun God. Manco Capac married a fellow goddess named Mama Occlo. The city of Cuzco was created, and the Incan Empire was born. The Incan Empire became the largest empire in pre-Columbian America, with the city of Cuzco at its center.

However, there was great unrest between the gods. Ayar Kachi, one of the crueler gods, was feared not only by the Incan people, but by the gods themselves. Manco feared that Ayar's cruelty would cause their empire to fall, so he planned to have his own brother imprisoned. Manco Capac told Ayar Kachi that something important had been left at the caves of  Paqariq Tampu. Once Ayar entered the cave, he was sealed inside. Before he was sealed off forever, Ayar conspired with Supay, ruler of Uku Pacha, the realm of demons and death. Ayar had Supay hide evil demonic huacas (spirit) within mystical ruins. Manco Capac discovered these ruins and hid the away deep under a temple, hoping their evil will never be unleashed to the world. As a countermeasure, Manco sealed the Tapac-Yauri nearby. It was said that if the evils were ever unleashed, one of the descendants of the gods themselves will take the staff, and vanquish the evil.

Many centuries later, in modern times,  Tristán Mendoza was a poor Peruvian farmer. He met a beautiful woman named Lilia and soon they were wed. Tristán and Lilia had tried to have a child for many years, to no avail. One day, while Lilia was tending to the llamas on the farm, she heard the most beautiful music being played. She went to the source of the music and saw a beautiful woman, playing a pan flute. The woman offered her some enchanted fruit, before disappearing into the night. A few nights later, Lilia had discovered she was pregnant, and the Mendoza family were happy. After his beloved wife gave birth to their daughter, Maria Mendoza, they drove back from the hospital in the valley to their home. But before reaching home they were stopped by highway robbers. Tristán refused to give them any money and in the ensuing scuffle Lilia was shot and killed. When the police finally arrived, they asked Tristán for money to track down the bandits, and ended up taking his truck as compensation. Tristán had to walk back to his village on foot, carrying his newborn daughter with him. It was one of the hottest days Tristán had ever experienced. He considered it a miracle he or the child didn't die from the heat that day.  When Tristán finally returned to his village, he saw the cops and the thieves splitting the profits from his truck . From that day forward, in order to protect his daughter, Tristán resolved never to be a victim again and that like the dirty police, he would have money through whatever means were necessary. In time, he became judge in the small village of Santa Atalaya, and would often be paid off by the criminals of the town.

As the years grew by, Maria Mendoza grew to be the most beautiful woman of Santa Atalaya, being sought out by both men and women. She worked long and hard on her family farm, often looking after the poorer people in her village. She seemed to enjoy working in the sun, often spending most of her days in the outdoors, tending to the farm and the animals. She never seemed too bothered by the heat, almost rarely breaking a sweat. She was a very outspoken woman, very protective of the ancient ruins outside her village. She would often lead protests against those who wish to desecrate or damage the historical landmarks. One particular day,  she was protesting the illegal archeological digs being conducted at the men of the rich, influential crime lord Armando Guitez.

Guitez's excavations had an even more sinister goal than selling off Peruvian history on the black market. There were ancient mystical secrets hidden in the ruins and according to legend, the Incan sun god Manco Capac had buried great powerful evils under the city to imprison them. Guitez hoped to find magical powers in the ruins to use for his own personal gain. Guitez's quest for mystical power was making him aggressive and irritable, even by crime lord standards.

Maria sneaks onto the excavation site, where she finds an archeologist named Esteban, who was instantly attracted to Maria.  Esteban claimed he was attempting to keep Guitez honest by trying to preserve as much as the site as they can. The two are eventually chased away from the site by an unseen force.

Maria arrives at the courthouse and scolds her father for letting Guitez get away with so much crime. Shortly afterwards, Guitez arrives at the courthouse and begins to flirt with Maria, much to her disgust. She gets away from him, but Guitez vows to make Maria his.

While at the courthouse, Maria overhears farmers telling her Judge Mendoza about monsters attacking their land, and that Guitez had ordered the police not to intervene. The farmers beg for Judge Mendoza to help, only for Guitez to order the police to beat the farmers in the courthouse. One farmer escapes to the front of the courthouse and commits suicide in terror. This action finally prompts Judge Mendoza to speak out against Guitez. Guitez responds by ordering the police to drag the judge away to the Guitez estate. Maria witnesses this and attempts to follow them, with the help of Esteban, who uses his status as an archeologist hired by Guitez Industries to get onto the property. Maria splits off from Esteban, where she witnesses Guitez murder another farmer in front of Judge Mendoza in an attempt to get him to fall into line. Judge Mendoza, finally tired of all the horrible things he let Guitez get away with, refuses to follow the man's orders. Guitez responds by shooting the man in the face. Witnessing the death of her father, Maria runs to him and holds his dying body in her arms, giving her hiding position away to Guitez and the others. Guitez demands Maria be his wife, and Maria responds by striking the crime lord in the face and groin and attempted to run away. Unfortunately for her, she was quickly captured. Guitez once again asked for Maria to be his wife, to which Maria responded by spitting in Guitez' face. Guitez had his men beat Maria, stripped her clothes off, and have her chained up in a hot sweatbox for torture.  He hoped Maria would suffer humiliation, dehydration and heat exhaustion, and hopefully force her to agree to become his wife. By some miracle, Maria seemed mostly unbothered by the torture, something that confused the henchmen who watched over her.

Days later, she was rescued and freed from her cage by Esteban, and after a quick change of clothing, the two fled towards the ruins together. There, they found the ancient mystical ruins Guitez was searching for. Esteban explained he learned of the dangerous, powerful nature of the ruins and had two of the ruins shipped to America so the crime lord couldn't get to them. Esteban revealed he had recently found a third one and held it in his hand. In that moment, Guitez caught up with the pair and shot Esteban, shattering the mystical rune he was holding in the process, causing Guitez to gain the mystical powers of dark spirits within. He transformed into a monster and smashed another nearby ruin, also gaining its power. He vowed to head to America to find the rest of the ruins in order to gain ultimate power.

Meanwhile, Maria was drawn to a light in the mystical ruins and found Tapac-Yauri, the staff of Manco Capac, and turned Maria into the demi-goddess Maravilla. She hears the voices of the Incan gods, who instantly teach her how to use her abilities.

She chased Guitez to Los Angeles, where she found his crashed airplane near the Hollywood sign. The ensuing battle was witnessed by William Willard and the staff of the tabloid magazine The National Exposer.  They fought all over Los Angeles, eventually finding themselves at the Church of Eternal Empowerment. She eventually impaled the demonically powered villain on a spike on the top of a temple before summoning lightning to incinerate him.

Adapting to her new surrounding with her trademark courage and resourcefulness, Maria quickly became a reporter at L.A.'s tabloid the National Exposer . Her exceptional beauty made it rather easy to be hired by editor William Willard, who was earlier saved by Maravilla.

Just finished Horizon Zero Dawn, including the Frozen Wilds DLC, now I'm irrevocably fucked up, which means I loved this experience, of course.

Watching the credit roll now, damn this game was Dutch.

Definitely looking forward to grabbing Forbidden West in the future, but for now, I'm taking a break to play Mass Effect for the first time ever!!

Final verdict on relationships; I was hoping for Nil to appear more often, and I totally missed him during the final battle. I ended up liking Aloy and Erend a lot more than I thought I would, and a close second goes to Vanasha, who is gorgeous.

1. Boku no Hero Academia

Without a doubt Endeavor wins. Honestly, Todoroki family drama is the only reason I got through the manga and I love his development so much. As you can see in this list I think that fire is hot, redemption is hot as well and I suddenly choose older dudes as favourite characters?...

2. Kimetsu no Yaiba

Oh, this one is hard. They all are such a cuties!!! You see, I love Yushiro, Kanao, Shinobu and Tamayo very much... But if I really had to choose...

Shinobu Koucho is an outstanding woman. Gotouge ended up creating extremely beautiful characters aesthetically but he also made Shinobu who is one of the most complex character design with her whole smiling personality being nothing but facade. She is extremely smart and is treated fairly in the manga.

3. Shingeki no Kyojin

I choose Keith Shadis. He may be a very side character and he is in no way special but his story made me identify with him a lot. It opened a lot of deep philosophical questions too. Even now when manga is ending I am cheering for my man.His chapter - “Bystander” - is one of my favourites in whole manga

4. Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood

Roy Mustang is the dream husband of my teenage years. Honestly, Arakawa's writing made me fall in love with her story so badly that I rewatched FMA at least 3 times and rank it №1 anime... And also I ship Royai, yes

5. Dr Stone

Somehow I love Yuzuriha so much! Ahe is so gentle and caring, it just unbelievable that such sweet kind of a person can exist. And in addition to this she is extremely smart making the right decisions and playing double agent [I am anime only]

6. Kakegurui

Tbh my fave was Rin but they mess him up at the end of season 2... So Midari yeah, I love them crazy girls with depression. Like and reblog if you would play Russian roulette with her [I am anime only]

7. Yuri on Ice

I watched that anime long ago but somehow Otabek took a piece of my heart. He was so distant from everyone and yet he saved Yurio from fangirls fufu

8. Star vs the Forces of Evil

In this house we stan character growth and redemption arc so Tom Lucitor. That bitch really did 180″ turn on his life. Also he looks cool. I mean he is a fucking half-demon how can you not love him.

9. Avatar the last Airbender
