So a while ago @/gaydexvocaloid made a version of this meme with vocaloids and I wanted to give it a shot with synthv instead.

Also I started at a time where Kafu was meant to come out in January and I didn’t fancy redrawing her with anyone else. If anything, it kinda makes it funnier since she doesn’t have an actual voicebank released for synthv atm.

KAFU is a japanese synth developed by KAMITSUBAKI STUDIO in collaboration with kafu's voice provider, a virtual singer called KAF. kafu was released in 2021, and sShe is part of the Musical Isotope Series. she was illustrated by PALOW. the name "kafu" comes from combining "kaf" and "you" (as in, you the user). her 3d model was created by Kawasaki. also kafu was announced to come to synthv earlier today

no.7 (aka seven) is a japanese synth released in 2021. shes voiced by Koiwai Kotori, and illustrated by Nekoyashiki Pushio. on 30 sep 2022 no.7 recieved a voicevox bank. she is 23 yo and 165cm tall.

What is this new project? 🤨

Vocagathering is an online posting festival for original songs featuring vocal synths. The event aims to facilitate discovery of vocal synth songs and producers and to promote vocal synth creative culture, especially to the international audience.

How does it work..? 🤔

Vocal synth producers will upload their song on an agreed-upon date to YouTube and submit the upload on our website (more details of upload requirements and the website will be released later). Afterwards, the song will automatically be ranked and potentially added to our rankings page. Rankings will be periodically updated for a few days until the event ends, upon which the top ranked songs are solidified into history. We also hope the event uplifts and provides momentum to unranked songs through a bigger audience and algorithmic connection to other songs!

Kafu for SynthV AI is still under development. The team is asking to wait a bit more, so they can make an musical isotope, and not 1:1 replica of Kaf's voice. If the result will not meet the expectations, the release may be cancelled. Thank you for your patience!
