Popular television actress Shweta Tiwari got married when she was just 19 years old. At that young age, she married Raja Choudhary after knowing him for merely three months. Shortly after they tied the knot, they had a daughter Palak and all was well with them until it wasn’t. Bigg Boss 13 hosted by superstar Salman Khan, is getting interesting with each passing day.

Recently, during an Elite Club membership task, Asim and Sidharth had a massive showdown. Later, former contestant Hina Khan entered the house for the final stage of the task when Sidharth and Asim fought once again in front of her.

The fight escalated to the point that ‘Bigg Boss’ had to intervene. The two were called in the confession room. Sidharth seemed extremely frustrated with Asim and said that he is poking him to no end. Shukla went on to say that he wants to quit the show and let Asim stay in the house.

Asim Riaz loses his Elite club membership

After reprimanding them for their behaviour, Bigg Boss has now taken away Asim’s Elite Club membership.

Bigg Boss recently introduced a new element- BB Elite Club. And the person who will be a part of this club will have special powers. They can save themselves from nominations for a week. Asim had become the first-ever contestant in the history of Bigg Boss. This came as a big loss for him.

Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon actress, Dalljiet Kaur, took to Instagram to announce to her fans that she would be changing her name to “Deepa”. She later posted a selfie and spoke about how her mother always felt like her birth name was too confusing and complicated. She also revealed that her birthday falls during the time of Diwali and explained that for this reason her family always called her Deepa. She dedicated the post to her mother and said that she did this for her. She asked her followers and those who want to associate with her to address her with the name of Deepa.

2. Current Name: Karanvir Bohra Previous Name: Manoj Bohra

Karanvir Bohra of Naagin fame was given the name of Manoj by one of his paternal grandparents. Karanvir stated that his grandfather was very close to veteran actor Manoj Kumar. Due to this, his grandfather wanted to name his beloved grandson the same. While making his big debut in the acting field with Kasautii Zindagii Kay, the actor officially had his name changed as Karanvir.

3. Current Name: Gauahar Khan Previous Name: Gauhar Khan

Sure enough, after the name change, the starlet was seen on celeb reality program, Big Boss season 7. The actress later emerged as a victor and many believe it was due to this very interesting name change. It seemed that Gauahar Khan’s new name was here to change her whole game and she went on to bag some huge projects.

4. Current Name: Anita Hassanandani Previous Name: Natasha Hassanandani

7. Current Name: Rashami Desai Previous Name: Divya Desai

The Uttaran starlet Rashami had her name changed nine years back. She was born Divya and the actress stated that her mom was the one behind her name change. While this is a topic that is quite difficult to discuss, it’s prevalence in society is such that it needs to be addressed. Disturbingly often people keep mum about physical abuse to avoid others noticing. Sometimes even the happiest of people might be hiding an abusive relationship. The only way to stop this topic from being taboo is for others who have gone through it to come forward and speak about their own stories. Shweta’s on-screen character, Prerna in Kasauti Zindagi Kii is known for being the show’s pillar of strength. Unfortunately, Shweta’s personal life was wracked with grief and she endured a lot of hardship and pain off-screen. Her husband, Raja Chaudhary was an abusive alcoholic who would beat her up almost every single day. The actress opened up about how her ex-husband would show up on her sets drunk and misbehave with her. Finally in 2007, after 9 years of being married, Shweta divorced Raja and escaped the marriage with their daughter, Palak in tow. Kudos to her for her bravery!

2. Deepshikha Nagpal

Deepshiksha Nagpal had an FIR filed against Kaishav Arora for allegedly assaulting her and demanding money from her. For Deepshikha, this was the second marriage and she claimed that Kaishav had threatened to take her and her children’s lives in a fit of rage. The actress made a plan to file for divorce but eventually, the pair patched things up and are now giving their marriage another shot.

3. Rashmi Desai

Known for being one of the highest-paid television actresses of her era, Rashmi is no stranger to your home screens. She married Nandhish Sandhu, the hero of her popular TV serial Uttaran that got her the fame. However, what lies behind closed doors is never cast and in the case of the actress, what lay behind closed doors wasn’t very pleasant. The actress walked out of her marriage of two years and filed for divorce in 2015. The pair had completed four years of marriage in total.

4. Mandana Karimi

After separating from her first husband, the actress moved on and got hitched to her long-time boyfriend, Gaurav Gupta in 2017. The actress filed for a case of emotional torture and domestic violence against Gaurav. The actress’s mother-in-law reportedly kicked her out of the house. Mandana tried to convince Gaurav to take her back but he remained adamant. The actress believes she is still in love with her husband and wants to give their marriage another chance. Gaurav however, has allegedly told friends that he plans on divorcing Mandana after barely six months of marriage. The actress has opened up about how frustrated she is about the entire situation. Gaurav had asked the actress to convert from Islam to Hinduism before the marriage and the actress obliged. The actress reported that her mother-in-law was racist towards her and often passed comments on her Iranian roots. Unfortunately for the actress, she had followed Gaurav’s demands and quit acting and is now left in a tight spot since she has no career to bank on. The actress states that giving up her career is one of the biggest regrets and says that “I think no woman should stop working.”

5. Dalljiet Kaur

The Kulvadhu actress recently opened up about her relationship with her ex-partner, TV actor, Shaleen Bhanot. When the couple placed first in Nach Baliye Season 4, their fans went crazy and praised their seemingly idyllic fairytale romance. Horrifyingly enough, Dalljiet filed an FIR against her husband for grabbing her by the throat and attempting to strangle her. The actress had swelling around her neck and strangulation marks but the couple eventually reached an out of court settlement in 2016.

6. Dimpy Ganguly

Dimpy Ganguly, a model by profession, gained fame by participating in the Indian version of The Bachelor, Rahul Dulhania Le Jayega. Dimpy shocked the world after she revealed her then-husband, Rahul Mahajan was physically abusive towards her and had a complaint filed against him. They reconciled for their run on Nach Baliye but the couple eventually parted ways and Dimpy has moved on, remarried and is now the proud mother of a little girl.

7. Chahatt Khanna

The actress who plays Ayesha on the popular TV show, Bade Acche Lagte Hai, filed a complaint against her husband, Bharat Narsinghani and his family. She revealed that her husband, as well as his family mentally and physically, tortured her and thus she had to file for a divorce. The actress is now happily married to Farhan Mirza and they share a sweet little girl.
