I think that Killer has a hard time telling what type of angelkin he is. It probably varies by stage how he feels about it, but at the same time, like. He has the general feeling, but the borders are still kinda skewered. For example, Stage 1, he feels connected to them, Stage 2, he shares a vessel, and Stage 3 He feels like he's one in a host, and Stage 4 is. Well, honestly, Stage 4 could be any of em probably. But he probably has a harder time telling because he feels he needs to pick one, but it's so hard because he's also thinking that there's no way he deserves to have anything to do with angels, perfect beings. And he hates how much his feelings of being angelkin fluctuate.

Meanwhile, Chara's sitting with a grin like, "Are you sure, though? I don't know. If there was an angel around you, I think I would know. Is it because of me? Do I make you think you're special?"

I’m gonna punch Chara in their mouth. My problematic fav. 😔

And i can definitely see Killer struggling with this, given his dissociative disorder—it’s hard to maintain a coherent, stable sense of who he is and what he wants, and it’s hard to trust himself. Especially when there’s external forces pulling and pushing him in certain directions.

I wonder how he first started realizing that perhaps this is what he is. Did he always have something like a “feeling,” given his already profound sense of being “other” and “different” from what and who he used to be—especially in comparison to everyone else around him.

Did his meta knowledge of Players factor into this, something like Gods watching everything, everything happening as it does only because that’s how we want it to go. Does he view himself as having his own role in this—created into something like a weapon for something higher, especially given the profound sense of determination and purpose in Stage 4.

Do lower Stages always feel like they were made for something bigger, they just haven’t reached it yet—or perhaps fear knowing the answer to that, such as in Stage 1. Could be another reason for all the shame and fear he has about Stage 4 in his comics—his reaction to Chara asking if he’s ashamed of them.

At The Disco song from where my friend took inspiration for this scene.
