indulge me for just a sec.. a Death Stranding-esque game where you, a Cybertronian travel across post-war Cybertron, delivering supplies to areas/cities that were almost completely destroyed by the war
Along the way, you meet small and sparce Cybertronian settlements trying to rebuild, and learn about the events that transpired near there + challenges they've been facing while rebuilding- You can choose to help them navigate these challenges to further rebuild their settlements, which lets u learn more about the world and gain different tech to help you travel easier (such as new altmodes to scan, or weaponry) If you choose to help these settlements, they may also give you some energon that can help fuel you (perhaps some altmodes require more energon to work effectively, whereas others are more energon efficient. You'd have to choose wisely which new altmodes to scan, and which to discard since you can't just have all stored)
Because the world's been torn apart by the war, in this new post-war era, you also get to explore ruins that are slowly being recaptured by Cybertron's natural environment + rural locations little to no other Cybertronians have been to before.
Enemies you may encounter along the way include small factions of Autobots or Decepticons continuing to fight on despite the war's end, or scavengers trying to pillage you or other settlements for energon supplies- There may also be old Cybertronian bio weapon experimentations that are now loose after the closing of their facilities...
Perhaps some of the precious cargo you're carrying include new sparks, being delivered to somewhere they can safely grow into newly formed adult Cybertronians
idk my brain's been thinking a lot about Death Stranding (as always) and the environmental concept art from TF One lol

Hello! Can do a chapter fic off this fic prompt Danny phantom x dc: https://www.tumblr.com/corkinavoid/767516270934556672/dpxdc-legal-power?source=share
This isn’t a one-to-one recreation of that dialogue but it’s based on that as a framework/premise
Batman dropped down into the room behind a pair of figures—a teenage boy and a slumped adult—letting his landing create an audible thump to alert them of his presence.
If the teen noticed, he didn’t react. Even as Bruce approached, he continued to stare impassively at the wheezing figure on the ground, an old wooden bat with flaking green paint on its side loosely held in his right hand. Bruce had already suspected who the figure would be since he arrived, but seeing the Joker so broken was still bizarre. No laughing, no schemes. He didn’t even seem to be attempting to escape his binds, just… lying there, almost as if pinned in place.
Bruce paused a step behind the teen. ā€œI don’t know what the Joker did to you, but this isn’t the right way to go about this.ā€
The teen scoffed, and Bruce felt a painful lurch in his chest as he was reminded oh so strongly of his son Jason. ā€œAnd what, let him go kill more people?ā€
ā€œI know he deserves to face justice, but not like this. Everyone deserves a right to fair trial. No one person should be judge, jury, and executioner.ā€
The teen turned to look at him with glowing green eyes, and Batman felt himself freeze. He had faced gods before, yet even using that as a comparison felt like an understatement. The boy’s eyes belonged to someone far older than his teenage form implied, and they radiated power. Inevitability.
When the teen—no, the entity—spoke again, his words carried an unearthly echo. ā€œPerhaps, but I’m not acting for just myself.ā€ He paused, glanced down at the Joker, then asked almost conversationally, ā€œDo you know how many people he’s killed?ā€
Another pause, but before Bruce could even try to answer, the entity continued, ā€œEight hundred and fifty-six. He’s ended the lives of eight hundred and fifty-six human souls. I can tell you about every single one, if you want. About who they were, what their dreams were before he killed them. About the pain they felt at his hands.ā€
He punctuated the word ā€˜pain’ by raising up the wooden bat in his hands and ramming its end down onto the Joker’s arm. He let out a wheeze, muffled by the gag in his mouth.
ā€œI have a duty to my people. I am the King of the In-Between and of all the souls that pass through it—even ones whose stays were as brief as his. I am the rightful arbiter of his fate. And with that power, I sentence him to death.ā€
He raised the bat again, adjusting his grip so he’d hit with the side rather than the end this time, then paused and let out a chuckle. ā€œOf course, just because it’s based on some justice doesn’t mean I can’t have a bit of fun with it too.ā€ He swung the bat down, slamming it into the Joker’s side, then hooked it under the clown’s torso and flicked him up through the air to slam into the wall. ā€œWe all really hate this guy.ā€
With the entity’s attention fully turned away from him as he sauntered towards the Joker’s slumped figure, Bruce could finally unfreeze himself.
Even if the Ghost King did have the right to pass judgement on Joker, Bruce still couldn’t let torture go on like this. He wouldn’t win a direct fight, but he could hopefully at least grab the Joker and bring him over to the police. Carefully, he reached for some of the smoke bombs and batarangs on his belt and readied his grapple. He’d have to do this very, very fast.
But before he could move, another figure entered the scene. Red Hood, emerging from the shadows on the far side of the room, an unexpected bit of a pep to his step.
ā€œNice to see someone else who gets that that bastard needs to die. But if I may make a suggestion, how ā€˜bout you use a crowbar instead of that old bat? It’d be a bit more… fitting.ā€
#asks#prompt fill#btw about that kill count number - the dc wiki page on ā€œJoker’s body countā€ said two numbers 671+ and 185+ (for different continuities?)#so i just added those two together to get a plausible-ish –feeling exact value for ā€œ671+ā€#danny fenton kills the joker#ghost king danny fenton#also i know Bruce is sorta the antagonist here but I’m trying my best to present him fairly#a vigilante having a code against killing people is a good thing! right to fair trial is important!#yeah the Joker probably should be executed but I don’t think Bruce is a bad person for not doing it himself#the legal system exists!! why are you asking the extrajudicial vigilante who specifically has a no-kill rule to do it??#i feel like Joker getting sentenced to death would be the ā€œlogicalā€ end to the situation; the Joker is gone and Batman’s code is intact#(you know. were it ā€œreal lifeā€ and not a comic with the whole ā€œwe’re not gonna kill off someone that iconic!ā€ thing)#and also him planning to step in against Danny isn’t about ā€œthe joker has to liveā€ it’s about ā€œtorture is wrongā€#he’s (cautiously) believing of the ā€œlegal rightā€ part so if they showed the legal sentence and executed him ā€œcleanlyā€ he’d be fine#(obviously he supports reforming criminals but in the Joker’s case I think he’d accept a fair trial saying ā€œdeathā€ as okay)#or in other words Batman isn’t pro-life; he’s pro-choice(-by-the-courts) (/hj)#dp x dc#dpxdc#dc x dp#dcxdp#danny phantom x dc#danny phantom x dc crossover#dpxdc the joker#dpxdc bruce wayne#dpxdc jason todd#also btw i’m sorry danny’s words are so pretentious/OOC feeling (well. at least to me they are)#it feels awkward to me too but it felt kinda necessary to match the vibe of the original thing#maybe he’s sorta sharing his thoughts with some judicial-y ghosts or etc who are influencing it#i did specifically want to imply the victims are affecting him at least a little (echoey voice + ā€œ*we* hate himā€)#or maybe he’s just been King for a long while and has had time to get a bit more ā€œkinglyā€

Alright… here goes. I’ve been a little nervous to say this, but I think it’s time: I want to start going poly alongside Sanji.
Sanji is still everything to me. He has a permanent, irreplaceable place in my heart, and nothing about that is changing. But the truth is, I’ve realized I have so much love in me—it feels like more than I can give to just one person. Lately (okay more along the course of several months), I’ve fallen madly in love with two other characters too, and I really want to start sharing that love here in the community.
This isn’t about moving on or loving Sanji any less. It’s just about embracing how full my heart feels, and letting myself be open to loving more than one fictional man at once. I know some of you followed me thinking I was strictly mono, and I totally understand if that changes things for you. But this feels right for me, and I hope you can support me as I figure it all out.
Thanks for hearing me out. If you have any questions feel free to ask me. Ahhh I hope nobody hates me for this. Sorry if I disappointed anyone’s expectations of me! 😭

I think it's fun and cute that everybody's reading some meaning into the character design choices for Kai's vision of his friends ("Nya has her pre-redesign hair because he still sees her as his baby sister!" and other such theories) but alas I think it's just another case of them mixing and matching character designs for shits and giggles because there is SO much extra-show material that has completely random assortments of design eras

Hey, I did previously mention an AU where Viktor gets taken in by Benzo and acts as a big brother to Ekko and later becomes one of the Firelights did I? He doesn't go to the academy either and meets Jayce under different circumstances too (The bridge battle specifically and yeah that'll be rewritten somewhat in a way that Jayce tries to participate or oversees things at first before being forced to intervene himself as he's part of the council by this point). I guess he also awakens as a mage this time without Hexcore interference too? I haven't fully figured it out yet admittedly. ^^;
Just enjoy the edit anyhow! ^_^

(Another) Ghost in the Machine
DP x Hellblazer (the original John Constantine comic)
Ritchie Simpson continued to search frantically for the connection out of the computer and back to his body as he begged John to explain what he meant by saying ā€œGoodbye.ā€
Had John disconnected him? He knew John’s sense of humor wasn’t the lightest, especially after Newcastle drove them all a bit insane, but that felt too far even for him. Nah, he’d probably just gotten himself a bit lost in the wave of energy he’d experienced in the Tongues of Fire network and was accidentally looking for his body in the wrong spot.
He pulled himself back and let his mental connection to the digital world expand outward, probing the rest of the machine for the connection. He knew he was in the right system, so as long as he looked thoroughly he’d definitely fi—
Everything flashed a surge of blinding white and then was replaced by pure darkness. He thought he screamed, but he couldn’t hear his own voice. Couldn’t even feel his own thoughts. Trapped in one single instant that stretched for indeterminable eons. Then, eventually (or was it immediately?), awareness began to trickle back.
He was still in the computer, though it felt… different, somehow. His thoughts still weren’t entirely in order. The first possible hints towards his location he found were the sound voices trickling through from the outside world. Voices he didn’t recognize. Young voices.
ā€œI’m happy to help, Tuck, but I’m not really sure what you expect me to do here. You’re way better than me at this computer stuff than me.ā€
ā€œBy all means, feel free to keep complimenting me, but this has been frying my brain, man. I got this thing secondhand, and the system should be quite powerful, but there’s something using up a ton of its processing and I can’t figure out what. I was hoping you could do your ā€˜enter into the computer’ thing and see if you see anything.ā€

I find Boba’s connections to being Mandalorian super interesting in part because, at least in current canon, he seems to express no desire to tie himself to or to vehemently avoid the label of Mandalorian. In some ways he’s sort of Schrƶdinger’s Mando.
It makes sense. ā€œMandalorianā€ is already a super expansive label and in-universe, Mandos argue with each other over what makes someone Mando. Is Mandalorian a race? A religion? An ethnicity? It is all and none of these things, depending on what group of Mandos you ask. But someone can be from Mandalore and not culturally A Mandalorian in the same way that beings from various planets and of various races can be culturally A Mandalorian. To some degree, what makes a Mandalorian a Mandalorian is self-identity.
Boba does not claim to be Mandalorian. His father was Mandalorian. His armor is Mandalorian. He has familial ties to Mandalorians which he acknowledges, but he is not Mandalorian, because it’s not that simple.
Boba’s only living family, Mandalorian and otherwise (that he, and we, are aware of), died when he was very young. We know that Jango was a relatively absent father because he left Kamino regularly for bounty hunting work. We know that Jango was teaching Boba to be a bounty hunter, but we don’t know if Jango was raising Boba with any sort of Mandalorian cultural influence (accounting for varying ideas of what ā€œrealā€ Mando culture would even be). Even if he was, once Jango was dead, any active and present ties to the Mando culture he was raised with was gone from Boba’s life, and he’s spent the rest of his adult life being, at most, peripherally aware of Mando society.
Outwardly, he is Mandalorian in that his armor is recognizably Mando. He’s obviously going to be aware of this; he’d have to be more sheltered than Din to not be. If one ascribes to the idea that Mandos are a race or ethnicity, then Boba is, to those who know Jango was Mando, a Mandalorian. And yet, when confronted by Mandos claiming he is not Mandalorian, his response is simply that he has never claimed to be one.
Boba isn’t exactly the type of person to lie to appease others. His seeming indifference towards the label of Mandalorian—not seeking it, not seeking to deny it—is probably his true feelings on the matter, or at least close to it. But it makes sense that he wouldn’t see himself as A Mandalorian. Why would he? His armor is Mando, but his personal ties to it are largely just because it was his father’s. If Jango wasn’t Mandalorian, I don’t think Boba would feel less attached to his dad’s armor, especially considering he was raised to follow in Jango’s footsteps. And it also makes sense that he’s not going around declaring himself Not A Mandalorian. On the one hand, what would be the point? And on the other hand, he kind of definitely is or is at least perceived to be one, depending on someone’s point of view.
Boba isn’t Mandalorian because he doesn’t identify as Mandalorian. Being Mandalorian encompasses a wide range of experiences, but it is very much, above anything, a cultural identity, even though that culture has sects and nuances within itself. Jango was Mandalorian, but the impact that has on Boba’s identity is honestly probably pretty minimal. Boba is from Kamino, a planet that no longer exists. Boba is a clone, but was raised separately from the other clones, and he is now one of very few remaining of this specific people. Boba had no stable, healthy environment as a child and was raised with no specific culture, people, or place past the age of 10, and even before then he was clearly isolated. Besides bounty hunting work, for the most part, Boba has been alone for a very, very long time.
Boba’s relationship with being Mandalorian is probably complicated, because Boba’s relationship with a lot is probably complicated. But he does not claim to be Mandalorian, so he isn’t.
