Ive always like the idea of a khajit being brought into twst, bc i started skyrim when i was 16, so i imagined my cat girl to be my age so by the time i finished the game i was 20 and fully dragonborn'd up so liek.. what if a 20 yr khajit (or any race from skyrim) gets isekaid to twst? I imagine its be fun to figure out why she can do magick from skyrim, but not magic from twst

That is honestly a great question, as someone who also had a Khajit cuz 10 year old me was like ooh kitty (I named her Zara). Granted I haven’t played in so long, but I’ll try to bring up what I remember. Watched so many modded play throughs.

Granted I apologize this might not be exactly what you were hoping for in this ask. I just hope this at least makes sense as I go through the main aspects. My brain first went into this like “How would it be?”.

I’ll use neutral ways to refer to our lovely kitty Dovakin.

Magic, shouts and the Dovakin aspects are general.

I feel like everyone would be so confused as to what magic they have. Plenty of people have already wrote up headcanons on magical girls or other stuff from other worlds but I haven’t seen this yet.

Khajit specifically, since beastmen are not that fur or feather covered they would obviously look at one quite curiously. There’s quite a few variants of them across games/regions. Depending on how certain people feel they could be territorial. Khajit are usually able to adapt to any region they go to, though TWST is set much farther in time so depending on how many ruins they’ve experienced and they might understand a bit of it. Phones would still be very confusing and social media.

I still imagine most close to them would have intrusive thoughts about how the fur feels. They could accidentally scratch someone if they’re taken by surprise. Everyone would need to keep a roller nearby since the fur can get everywhere.

Them asking where the nearest tavern is for some ale or wine would be great. Leona might help if they’re close enough to see who can last the longest drinking.

The magic in Skyrim is based on purely mana and there’s no waste like blot. Shouts is a whole different story too. Though there is plenty of similar basic spells that would be “normal”, but making a sword out of thin air from mana? Is that your unique magic? No? What do you mean?

There’s so many spells that would leave people gawking, and artifacts too. The staff of the god of chaos, that would be hilarious until you turn someone into a sweet roll accidentally. Imagine they’re the leader of the mages too in Skyrim, and correcting methods of magic in the world of TWST.

Shouts deserve their own paragraph. Like slow time is so op, and the Dovakin would immediately be made one of the strongest wizards. Shouts would make Overblot incidents over so quickly. Disarm is obvious, Become Ethereal is op, Bend Will op, Call of Valor literally summons the heroes across space and time for aid, and would Dragonrend work on Malleus? They’d be way too powerful for the world of TWST in short.

Call dragon would be interesting, but if that doesn’t work due to being in another world there is Summon Durnehviir could work since it crosses a dimension already from the Dawnguard dlc.

The Dovakin aspect is also something to consider since there’s Malleus a dragon fae. Would he sense it? Would Leona hate the smell of lizard you have? There’s a little bit to think about, but all quite interesting.

If it was ever brought up they bare dragon blood in their veins and know many dragons but have also killed many in the war that went beyond the living realm. Imagine the silence and jaw dropping from many staff and students. The strength to kill multiple dragons and maybe taking on two at once (unfortunately did in a city, I was confused by how many roars I heard).

The odd skills would be so useful though, lock picking, the strength to haul all those sweet rolls (does everything disappear into their inventory?), unfazed by undead, ambidextrous dual wielding, potions is alchemy, silent walking gets you tea and not even Khajit hear you. Lots of odd things to think about regarding it.

Feels odd knowing that now I can go across the border down south and go to a bar or casino. Like been able to for 2 years already here, but barely been.

A hot day in summer, your running errands around the city in the blazing heat. You can’t help but feel no relief with the water you brought as it too has warmed up. You go to step into the shade to attempt to regain your strength to continue with your list. You can’t help but notice a tall shadow coming your way, so you look up to see who it is.

It’s the Captin Kaeya, he holds a smirk as he sees the heat is getting to you. “Is the heat already too much for you?” He says in a teasing way.

A new day had come upon Monstadt this summer, perfect for swimming but not so much for errands. Those who normally were all covered had to dress down a bit to avoid a heatstroke, no one was truly safe except those with a Visions of Cryo and some with Anemo. Some with Pyro could take the heat but never could cool themselves like the other two.

You just happen to be one of the unlucky ones without a Vision of any kind and are out on a hunt for things you need in the city. The sun felt closer to the world this day, it was blazing hot out and even your water you had brought warmed up. There was no cool or cold relief out here as plenty of the knights with Visions seemed to be out taking care of camps around the city.

You couldn’t help but notice a bard going around and giving people a breeze of some kind. Unfortunately your errands took you in the opposite direction of the bard so you continued on, but eventually went to take a break in shadow of a city wall. You thought there was a squeal of some women, but you were more focused on trying to not pass out.

It wasn’t long before you heard footsteps towards you in the shade, there was even a rather tall shadow coming your way that was most likely the person. Glancing up to see who, revealed a particular Cryo user smirking as he well known by the women in Monstadt. It was Kaeya the Calvary Captain of the knights, one whose looks contrasted to his Vision unlike Diluc.

“Well what do we have here? Is the heat already getting to such a beauty?”

Kaeya would say a bit flirtatiously but in a joking way. What exactly he was up to wasn’t too clear, but everyone knew that was the normal of this Captin. His expression changed when he focused more on yours, he looked a little worried.

“Hey, are you alright dear? You look like you’re about to pass out.”

He reached a hand towards you to gently place his hand on your forehead to get a feel for your temperature. His hand felt cold, which in this weather it felt great to have that little relief from this heat.

Your head felt a bit lighter within a couple seconds, though you didn’t notice that you were falling forward towards the man. Everything was suddenly spinning, but you felt arms around you and they were holding you carefully. It felt nice since it was like a cool breeze hitting your body during the hot weather, but it didn’t take long before you closed your eyes and dozed off.

Kaeya at this point was only more concerned as he caught you in his arms just in time, so he crouched down to turn you around and get a better look. You were completely out at this point, so he picked you up bridal style to make it easier to walk around on his own legs. As a knight he had to be strong, so carrying someone was not the issue but the fact you just went out like that. He would try to ask around to see where you might live to bring you home, but he considered taking you to Barbara a couple times before deciding he was going to take care of you himself.

It took a few minutes to get the address of your home, but he got it and began to carry you there while using his Vision to keep you cool in his arms. He had either an angel or a devil in his arms sleeping, he knew others would envy whichever one was in his arms.

Once he reached the corner of the city where he learned that you lived, Kaeya was curious as to why you lived alone but not like he could ask you about it now. Another surprise was that you left your door unlocked, the city might be safe but thieves are still around stealing what they can get their hands on. He would still bring you inside and brought you all the way to your room. He’d gently place you on your bed and glance around to see how you decorated it. A lot could be told by just the way one expresses them self or decorates their own space.

He especially looked at some paintings placed around the room, looked like a family and a child in the painting that he assumed was you. He admired the cute face before looking over at the gorgeous one, he would walk over and place a hand back on your forehead like before. Of course he was going to use his Vision to help cool you down, Cryo was the best in this situation with you. He couldn’t help but look at every feature of your face, it was the view he was given to admire.

“I guess you are my little sleepy beauty, aren’t you? Looking so peaceful with my cool touch, so many will envy you getting such special treatment from from the coolest knight around.”

Kaeya would begin to play with a little section of your hair and sighed as there was no way to get a reaction from someone unconscious. He would look around for a chair to sit on, he ended up bringing a chair from downstairs to put at your bedside. He’d sit down beside your bed and just looked at the view he had. He would rest his arms on the bed, but eventually his head too on his arms so he wasn’t holding it up.

Kaeya was there beside you, and he soon drifted off into a nap to get some rest himself.

Very much set it up for a part two when I originally wrote it.

I did edit this one a bit since it was so close to being neutral, I do use beauty and gorgeous as broad terms for anyone regardless of gender.

As a little explanation, wrote in chat of Augichii on twitch in 2020 October and had fun with everyone. Since I edited this I forgot to remember the original date of completion.

Diluc : Snowed In ❄️

Now imagine that it’s a snow filled morning, you hear fire from behind the front door before a knock. When you open the door Diluc is there with the the slightest hint of a smile as he tells you that you’re now free to enjoy the beauty of the snow. You can’t help but watch him walk away to continue helping others.

Winter had came to Monstadt rather soon and with it came the snow storms. The cold temperatures seemed to freeze what it could, it was rather relentless but there were some within the city who could take the cold like Captain Kaeya and Diluc owner of the Dawn Winery.

On this particular morning it seemed like the walls themselves couldn’t keep the cold out so you would get dressed up in warmer clothes but when you went downstairs the windows were completely snowed out and one couldn’t see through them by any means. You would rush up the stairs straight to a window and you weren’t the only one with snow covering your downstairs windows. It looked like many residents were snowed in like you had guessed for yourself. It was still lightly snowing outside but a storm must’ve came in through the night with a lot more that caused all of this.

A sigh escaped your lips as there were a couple of things you needed to do today, but it was clear it’d have to wait for another day when the knights figure out how to clear out the snow. Little did you know there was already a plan on the way, set in motion to be specific.

Even if you were to escape through a window, it would be hard to get back into your house safely with what you wanted to grab. When glancing out of the window you spotted knights walking around looking at all the snowed in houses with a paper and a pencil. Seemed like they were checking out what houses were hit the worst. You lived in a corner of the great city, so it might take a while for them to get to you.

So there you wait for a couple hours, trying to distract yourself from the cold and the boredom that is hitting you from not being able to do much. You glanced out the window once again and catch a glimpse of some flames from a house around the corner and you noticed they were powerful but you couldn’t see the one making them.

You’d rush downstairs to wait, but decided make some tea to offer to those who came to the door to take care of your snowed in problem. It was the least you could do for them to help them stay warm while helping others and reward them for it.

As you’re finishing up with the tea you hear a knock at the door, which wouldn’t be possible without getting rid of the snow first. You would rush to the door before composing yourself to then open the door. Your eyes met with a set of crimson ones, it was Diluc. He was known to help the city when he was needed, but you didn’t expect him to be the one to be at the door.

He looked down at you calmly and only showed the slightest hint of a smile on his face.

“You might be the last one, but you’re free from your prison at last.”

He was known to be a very powerful pyro user, so it had to be his flames you’ve seen before from around the corner. Diluc was rather sought after, he was a handsome and rich bachelor in the city. You could smell your tea ready to go, so you snapped out of your daze.

“Would you like some tea? I started making some a bit ago since I noticed some flames, to offer to whoever knight or not.”

You would offer some tea to the Lord, looking up a little nervous since it was rather hard to keep completely composed in front of Diluc. After all there is a knight with a pyro vision, but he was definitely not Amber.

“Thank you for the offer, but I must be going to take care some business at the winery. I hope you have a fine day despite the cold, so remember to take care of yourself.”

Diluc was rather kind though you couldn’t help but feel a bit sad about not rewarding your hero saving you from your comfy prison. It showed on your face, Diluc happened to notice.

“If I finish my work, I could most likely go for some tea to relax afterwards.”

Your eyes widened with a smile appearing on your lips, all as Diluc turned around to then leave you to prepare for later. Watching him walking away was still amazing with his ponytail moving with the chilly wind.

Writer’s note:

Was set up for a part two when originally wrote, which was around the time I was in my last year of high school.

Not quite sure I’ll do a part two for either, but answer rn is probably not.

The preview was originally a prompt I wrote in a twitch stream for Augichii, I first watched on the 8th of October and I finished the full fic on the 22nd of October. It was all in google fun and we were just being our silly selves. I’ll still drop in to see what they’re doing but I don’t have as much time as I used to.
