fun worldbuilding thoughts: kayla and kodii both grew up in agmaar, but they were born in the anissian impire, which doesnt use gender. so they had no gender assigned at birth. both were sent to agmaar (after their parents death) when kayla was 7 and kodii 1, to live in an agmaari family, and it is customary, altho not mandatory, to receive an agmaari gender. considering kayla was 7 ey probably didnt feel like signing up for whatever this gender thing was, so i think ey’s probably still ungendered, but often perceived as elzen because eir personality reflects it a lot, but also by being a Big Crocodile. kodii, on the other hand, was a Literal Baby. kayla probably gave out what eir lil sib’s bday was, and kodii was raised as a little lean

Vanessa is consistently oozing charisma and charm, really being the only member of the Heroes who can hold a competent conversation. Van simply knows how to make diplomacy work. Which only helps her "Prana", which is effectively this world's magic. With a flick of her hand she can sproute spores and form any kind of fungi in a nearby area. She comes from the Kodii Kingdom, a massive jungle to the north of Zence's landmass.
