After searching for Asuna, he finally caught a glimpse of her out of the corner of his eye, quickly switching his direction directly toward her. He waved as he called out to her, "Asuna!"

He didn't have her on his friends list yet so he had to ask around to find her. You'd think she wouldn't be so hard to find, being a commanding officer in one of the biggest guilds in SAO. "Man, you're hard to find you know," he said, slightly out of breath as he had been running all over the place.

[Dear Nayru, this one’s really difficult. For manga, I’d have to say either Dragon Ball, Cardcaptor Sakura, or Shugo Chara! most likely. For favorite anime, I’d have to say either Sword Art Online, Cardcaptor Sakura, or Kuroko no Basuke. There are so freaking many that even picking three for each category doesn’t work. ^ ^;]

Yui flutters her little purple wings and lands beside Asuna on the couch. "Mommy, I've been thinking..." She looks up at the Undine, hands folded neatly in her lap. "I want a pet like Silica has! You know, so I don't get lonely when you and daddy aren't in the game." Sitting up straight, the fairy raises her hand as if she's taking an oath.

"I swear I'll take good care of it, mommy! You have my word!" 

Craning her neck to look up into blue eyes, Yui realizes she could make things much easier for herself and quickly reverts to her human form.

"There, that's better. Now where was I? Oh! Please, mommy? Pleeease?"

"Asuna, what's wrong?" He asked as normal as possible. His voice was normal to convince that he has been up all this time.

Another funny thing is Sinon doesn't even swoon over Kirito or anything (Kirito failed to mention a girlfriend too so he's not innocent either) and people are like 'she's tryna steal him from Asuna what a bitch'. Like, omg I can't even.

;; — Rushing, always rushing around. He sighed and ducked into his cloak as he walked among the other Players. His slow and easy-going pace would irritate many, but Kirito wasn’t one for allies, or parties.  The Beater worked alone.

;; — His feet halted to make a turn at a corner, heading to a small out of the way shop. He knew about it from his prior experience with Beta Testing SAO. Heading inside the door, he stopped at a shelf, grabbing some items and hefting the weapon at his back.

;; — Heading to the counter, the shopkeeper nodded silently as he rang up Kirito’s haul, the black swordsman handing him payment in an ample sum. Collecting the items, he ported them to his inventory with a pass over the screen, turning to head out again.

Shadow in a New Town ||Lambentlightning

You left the peaceful town of Inaba for a few days to try and see if being in a different town would help Yosuke get his mind back together. So you went to Kawagoe City. It wasn't supposed to rain during your abstance but you had your cellphone and your team knew where you were headed. You didn't have to worry about your parents since they were out of town for the time being and weren't due back until after you got back.

Upon arriving in town you pulled your headphones around your neck and started ot wander around. You had a large bakcpakc on full of money, clothes, personal hygiene stuff and other goods. You wore a white shirt with red birds on it and black pants and sneakers. As you were sightseeing you accidently bumped into a girl.

Sorry about that, I wasn't paying attention.

Lisbeth has no idea what’s going on. One minute she was working in her forge, and the next…she’s in this mess.

“Asuna!” she yells over the chaos, ducking backward to avoid a decapitating swing from a scimitar. She throws her mace into the orange guild member’s knee, and he lets out an inhuman screech as he falls. She jumps. What the hell…?

But she doesn’t have time to dwell on it. A piercing cry erupts from behind her, and she whirls. She knows that scream.

Catching sight of lightest brunette, she bolts across the battlefield. No matter what gets in her way, she takes it all down. Nobody keeps her from protecting her best friend.

And yet, for all her efforts, when she gets there…she’s mere seconds too late.

She doesn’t even have time to kneel at her side. The instant Lisbeth’s foot touches ground and they lock eyes, the older girl’s HP hits zero, and she shatters into crystals with face still frozen in terror and pain.

For the first few moments, all Lis can do is stare. Then, she blinks hard, enough to hurt herself, rubs her wide eyes furiously, but each time she looks back, vision blurry or no, it’s all the same. Flecks of the virtual body that once made up Lightning Flash Asuna seem to congregate around her, and she doesn’t even notice the tears that are streaming down her face or the fact that she’s crashed to her knees until they splatter on her trembling hands and the harsh ground cuts up her legs. What…what just happened…?

“Asuna…?” she squeaks, voice raspy and splintering. Her heart stutters and breaths rattle in her chest, and she desperately combs the steadily emptying battleground with her eyes for even the tiniest sign of her. “A-Asuna?” It’s a little stronger this time, but still not enough. Maybe…maybe she just can’t hear her. “Asuna!” Okay…okay, this isn’t funny anymore! There’s…there’s no way she could be dead! Asuna’s…she’s…s-she’s…—no! There’s…there’s no way! “Asuna!”

Seventeen-year-old SAO survivor Rika Shinozaki jolts upright in bed. Gasping for breath while tearful eyes rush to identify her surroundings and a pale, weak hand reaches under her pillow for a mace that’s not there, she slowly gathers her bearings.

She’s still in the hospital, recovering from SAO. It’s only been about two months since Kirito - Kazuto now, she reminds herself - got them all out. Thank goodness… So she’s not…and Asuna’s not… Oh, thank God…

It’s normal for them, all of them, to have nightmares. They can’t live through something like that and come out unscathed, after all. But still…as she pulls her knees to her chest and cries out the rest of her fear and devastation, she wishes with all her heart they didn’t have to be so bad.

In the room beside hers, Asuna Yuuki, also awake at this ungodly hour after having a night terror of her own, listens to her best friend’s sobs and rests her head and a hand back against the wall, her position nearly identical to Rika’s. She’d been the one to knock hard enough on the wall to wake the former blacksmith. She wishes she could do more and be there for her right now, but in her condition, this is the best she can do.

At least it will be enough to get them through the night.

Asuna & Leafa || Closed

Leafa shot up into the air, being followed by an enemy she was fighting, not that she minded, being in the air was her advantage, her strength. It was where she was most comfortable to fight.  Once so far up she came back down, flying straight for them, going for a direct hit.  She landed on the ground softly, and looked up to see the enemy fall.  Though she didn't see the person who had been watching her this whole time.
