harley doesn’t know what to do with tears. she’s never been good with them-- not even her own and bowie’s tears confuse her. partially because she’d never expect them from him and partially because they make her feel something other than discomfort. she’s upset for him. the look on her face as her feelings make themselves known is slightly pinched. she is good with ignoring things--better maybe than him. she’s better with panic attacks before tests and eating so little she faints. better with her control. she wants a plan of attack that doesn’t involve standing in his doorway clothed in chanel. “can... i just.. can i stay?” she asks the question tentatively like she’s uncertain of her own words. “i don’t know if it’ll fix it but--” she sits her bag down on his table and walks to his bed. “if you want to talk i can...shut up for long enough to make it a little easier.” she gives him a wry smile. “..so.. will you let me..stay?”

it is the end of the year!!!!

     with the end of the year coming to an actual end here soon. i’ll say goodbye to 2017 and hello to 2018. really,  i thought i would just make a nice appreciation post. whatever he’d been doing as some sort of distraction pauses, chest heavier as he hears their reassurance. juno has let his walls down only a few times, and he’s used to the same reactions most of the time. when he was little, he was scolded for being weak. as he got older, his outbursts were assumed to be rebellion. it wasn’t until his grandparents had adopted him that he’d been told anything differently. “that’s what she always used to tell me too…” he’s never told taehyung about his grandmother, fingertips nervously drumming along the table he stands by. “my grandmother.” she would hold him and talk to him when things got bad, and when he lost her he went back to his old ways. “she said that being honest with people is hard, but hiding the things that bother you is even harder. i guess she was right.”

Taehyung just stood there and listened to Juno for a moment, nodding a couple of times. He agreed with everything he shared about his grandmother because he had a similar mindset. The kumiho didn't consider himself a people person and those who knew who or what he really was always questioned why he cared so much about the people he surrounded himself with but that's just he was. He knew that he was supposed to be ruthless and to not give a damn about any human being and just use them as toys and to his own advantage but he could never bring himself to do any of that. He distanced himself from all of it as much as he possibly could. He was happy that Juno seemed to slowly open up to him and he wanted to make sure that he understood that he could be open with him and not be judged or ridiculed for it. Without saying a word, Taehyung moved closer and simply wrapped his arms around the other, pulling him into a tight hug. "Your grandmother is a wise woman." He spoke softly and slowly rubbed Juno's back. "I'm here for you now."

hello lovely people of tumblr rp! i just wanted to make this post because, as it turns out, i’ve hit 400+ followers!! i didn’t even notice it when i hit the 400 mark because i was so busy with my internship (which is now over. yay for temporary freedom!) that i didn’t get to see when it happened. tbh, i was quite surprised i was still getting followers after not really being on much but thank you anyway!
