Lego Magnemite -103 pieces

I just built this little guy, because I got inspire by this video. Originally I was working on another build but then it hit me that those qaurter dome pieces would be great to build a Magnemite with. The magnets are a little too big but the only other piece with a similar curve is too small.

For some reason the quality of the stud.io renders made lately has been rather poor. I am unsure what may be the problem but they went from something with a good resolution to a gba-level pixelated mess. I am not even sure if its a computer thing or a program/settings thing.

I wanted to share some of my mocs, but the entire gallery of renders seems to suffer this for the exception of any that was done before the may of this year, which still looks good and smooth. But the rest is almost impossible to look at.

Bonsai Hermit Crab - 491 Pieces

I might have a problem. Can you blame me though crabs are freaking awesome! The bonsai tree is a very special set to me, it's the first set I bought myself and had an absolute blast building it. Unfortunately this will be the last Crab for a bit since I'm trying to build based on ones I actually have, so once I'll get another botanical I'll make another crab!

"Sprits of the Air"

As Matoro's sacrifice saved the universe, he used the power of the Kanohi Ignika to send his friends to the place he knew they needed most to be -- the gates of Artahka, where the Toa Nuva had just arrived... alongside Takanuva, now at the end of his interdimensional journeys. There, the old friends celebrated Matoro's victory and mourned the death of their comrade... but not for long, as the brotherhood of Makuta had already launched their attack on Karda Nui. Realizing it was time to pass the mantle of hero on to their old matoran wards, the Toa Nuva returned to Metru Nui to stand guard in Takanuva's place... but not before Gali returned their original masks, recovered from the ruins of Karzahni. Equipping the Toa with new adaptive armor, Artahka teleported the team to the core of the universe, ready to awaken the Great Spirit Mata Nui.

An alternate take on the 2008 Toa Team, based on a fan theory that the Toa Inika/Mahri were meant to continue into that year, but were replaced by the Toa Nuva late in development. In this timeline, Takanuva took Matoro's spot in the team and fought alongside the Phantoka as co-leader of the team, protecting his old av-matoran friends while Jaller lead the Mistika down into the swamp of secrets.

Some MOCs I designed in Stud.io. A generic mech, an imp, a False Hydra, and a skrall with a badass robot arm. Wait. Is having a robot arm still cool in a universe where everything is already biomechanical?

Bionicle fans, you've probably noticed Gali didn't have a counterpart in the Skull Army, but did you ever notice they didn't have a flier to keep the Toa grounded?

Whilst I built this on a whim, I suppose it works to commemorate the tenth anniversary of Bionicle G2.

This would be fully buildable if the gunmetal spider mask and trans-dark blue parts existed IRL. You could use Skull Warrior's trans-light blue pieces, or even dye them to replicate trans-dark blue.

I imagine there are swarms of these guys, like bats. They don't have ranged attacks, having to swoop in to cleave the Toa with their bladed wings…which uses Skull Basher's function, both for an attack and for a flapping motion! It was a neat gimmick, but it was let down by all the clashing, obstructing the motion. However, on a skinnier, flying build, with some modifications, the gimmick now has room to breathe.

I imagine they use their claws to swoop like birds of prey do into water and pry Gali out of the city's canals, to deny her both mobility and her element.

I really wanted to add the Skull Villain armor (piece 20475) somewhere, but unfortunately that piece doesn't exist in Studio yet. However, I did add the HF Savage Planet spine add-on to the chest, so it wouldn't be bare…but not as bulky as the traditional chest piece. I also used a Skull Spider mask as a reference to Chirox!

Chrysanthemum Hermit Crab - 247 Pieces

Around January or February I bought the Chrysanthemum botanical set and after finishing it my mom said something around the lines of "Well you couldn't make anything else out of this." so me being kinda petty, decide that the only natural course of events was to force carcinization onto this flower. I originally had a different body design but I really didn't like it, so one day I just redesigned it completely in about 2 hours. Instructions will come out eventually.

After finishing MNOG, I've been inspired to make the various Matoran featured in the game. Some of them use a Mata head with an eyestalk so they have glowing eyes, but some of the other unnamed background characters use the standard early Matoran head.
