Headcanon where Jack confesses his feelings to legoshi ;;w;;

Awww this is so cute! sorry this took so long it was sitting in the drafts for forever i’m the worst at finishing things • It takes a long time for Jack to build up the courage to confess. Legosi always feels so distant lately, and he feels that the further the grey wolf drifts away the harder it is, and the more his worries grow. • Jack’s known of his feelings for Legosi for quite a while now—he isn’t sure when they started, but perhaps they were always there. In the form of admiration, envy, care, worry... his relationship with Legosi is his closest and strangest, despite his large variety of canine friends. He can always tell how the wolf is feeling, but does Legosi know how Jack is feeling right now? • When he confesses, it takes a lot of stuttering and hesitation, before it comes out as a burst. • “Legosi, I love you!” • He throws his hands over his mouth, surprised at his own boldness. How did he just say that?! And so stereotypically too! Oh no no no he’s messed up- • As we all know, Legosi is the most clueless guy ever. He’ll think that he’s misheard Jack at first, and take a few seconds to process things, all while Jack is nervously waiting for a reaction. Be patient Jack, Legosi’s just doing a hard reboot. • Once he realizes what Jack said his eyes widen and he moves his hands around a lot while he tries to respond • “Oh, uh, Jack! Uh...” after 60 uhm’s something akin to a short response forms • Legosi has no clue where to go from there. How do you start a relationship with your best friend? What do you do? What changes? Jack doesn’t have much experience in relationships so he doesn’t have much of a clue either, but they’ll figure things out together... in their own way. And with a lot of stumbling along the way, but just as much familiarity.
