senku and the five second rule - yap

to give some context, i was doing laundry in our terrible gross basement. we have this like carpet thing to catch our clothes in case we drop them so that it doesn't touch the dirty idek what that floor is. so, one of my pieces of clothing dropped on that and i picked it up in half a second! then i was like "oh five second rule but for clothes" and then the adhd train of thought started up. so, with the five second rule in my mind i was like "thinking about it realistically, my clothes would definitely have gotten dirty within the half second they were on the floor right? as soon as it touches the floor the dirt that could be on the little carpet jumps right on it?" and then i thought about the food five second rule for some strange reason and then i was like "would senku follow the five second rule, knowing exactly how it works?"

i have no idea how it works and i don't feel like doing the work to research it. senku would know though. he's a scientist. he doesn't know it because it's the 5 second rule, he knows it because he knows science. i know he's more into like rocket science but with everything that we find out he knows in the stone world, i think he'd just know about bacteria and all that. if it's science, he knows it.

so, picture this. senku's eating food.

he drops it on the floor. do you think he picks it up and eats it or do you think he tosses it?

i personally think he eats it. he knows exactly how that works. i'm assuming even if it's on the floor for half a second, it's not clean. it's not the same as it was before. it's still edible though, and he's definitely not that much of a neat freak. if the science needs him to be a complete neat freak, he'll be a neat freak. but if he's just eating and he drops it on the floor? he definitely eats it. there's no way he's gonna just toss it cause it was on the floor for half a second.

so, senku believes in the five second rule.

ok but like theyre so fun i just refilled the one at work w the paper and i had such a good time, and the way it copies??

like yk how you lift the thing and put paper in it and then it copies but its so big so udk how its gonna turn out like what if u fucked up etcetc well THIS printer has a slot at the top where u put the paper face up, and it like takes it and scans it and then under that slot itll spit it out and then print it almost perfectly. you can still fuck up but itll only come out tilted like otherwise itll be perfect it was the most beautiful thing id ever seen and it made a funky noise???? it was so fun
