CATCH THE SAMANCO!

DOHAN begins the meeting with the first event on his agenda, “as you were informed a couple of weeks ago, all of you will be attending SAMANCO’s pop-up event on JULY 10. from what i was told, the event is called, ‘catch the samanco!’ and is inspired by the fishing pond game that some of you may be familiar with.”

the pop-up event will have multiple activities that the TYPE ZERO members can partake in. listed are a few of their most popular activities:

ice cream fishing game - similar to the carnival game, fishing pond, each person is given a fishing rod and will try to catch the prizes ( in the form of the samanco fish ) from an inflatable pool. for the type zero members, each of them will do it to figure out how much of a discount the zeniths will receive if they use the discount code.

there will be a short interview with the TYPE ZERO members from the press where they will be asked their thoughts about being the brand ambassador. 

WEDDING BELLS FOR BOMIN

then on AUGUST 12, all of the TYPE ZERO members will be attending their ex-manager’s wedding. before the wedding reception, all of the TYPE ZERO members ( past and present ) will take a few photos with the married couple.as mentioned before, the current TYPE ZERO members will be singing ‘MAKE A WISH ( BIRTHDAY SONG )’ during the reception.

SUMMER EVENTS

during this term, TYPE ZERO will be attending LOLLAPALOOZA ( BERLIN - JULY 13, PARIS - JULY 20 ), SBS GAYO DAEJEON ( JULY 26 ) and WATERBOMB ( MACAO - AUGUST 9, BALI - SEPTEMBER 7, HONG KONG - OCTOBER 4 ).

for LOLLAPALOOZA and WATERBOMB, they will be performing TRIGGER, DUMMY, GOOD BOY GONE BAD, and CHOKE. as for SBS GAYO DAEJEON ( GOYANG ), they will be performing the same songs along with one special stage where they will be covering ATEEZ’s WAVE.

MYSTERIOUS TYPE POP-UP STORE 

to promote TYPE ZERO’s variety show, LEGACY has created a pop-up store event! the pop-up store will be located in THE HYUNDAI SEOUL and during the behind the scenes preparations, TYPE ZERO will be invited to check the store out. however it isn’t until they arrive at the store that they will be told that there is an escape room within the store and they will film the TYPE ZERO members solving it. the escape room itself is inspired by TYPE ZERO, which allows the zeniths to have some fun solving the puzzles as well. the video for this will be posted on TYPE ZERO’s youtube channel after the pop-up store ends ( sometime around DECEMBER ). additional clips of the TYPE ZERO members reacting to the merchandise ( which includes the TYPE ZERO merch along with other products specifically for MYSTERIOUS TYPE ) will be played throughout the store on the day of the opening and until the end of the event.

on SEPTEMBER 10, the group will make an appearance during the store’s opening and briefly interact with the fans. the pop-up event will last until NOVEMBER 30.

NOVEMBER PRE-RELEASE & DECEMBER COMEBACK

“and that isn’t all yet, i have more to tell you.it’s been confirmed amongst the higher-ups that TYPE ZERO will be having a DECEMBER comeback to end the year with a bang. just like last time, there will be a pre-released song, scheduled for NOVEMBER. the creative team is still working on the final details so i cannot say much at the moment. but i was told that starting AUGUST all of you will start training and working on the songs so enjoy the lighter workload during this month, because once those songs are finalized it will be busy schedules until JANUARY probably.”

ooc, the PRE-RELEASE song will be ‘HARD’ ( not to get mixed up with their previous title track of the same name ) while their TITLE TRACK will be ‘ICE ON MY TEETH’ ( so ic the TYPE ZERO members are unaware of this at the time of this post ). all of the details about this will be posted in the second part of this mission, which will be revealed later in the term.

BIRTHDAY LIVESTREAMS

during this term, there will be birthday livestreams for JAEJIN ( JULY 15 ), PARKER ( AUGUST 8 ), and HYOSEOP ( AUGUST 18 ). JAEJIN can complete OPEN EVENT 9 throughout Q3. on the other hand, a variation of the open event was completed previously so PARKER and HYOSEOP cannot do the open event, but can write about the birthday livestream if chosen to do so ( however it won’t count for points ).

hyoseop quite enjoyed being on variety shows, he’d been on a few alone, but it was also quite enjoyable doing it along his members. hyoseop enjoyed being in front of cameras, even though he felt like they couldn’t catch his beauty (which was also why he rarely took selfies: they couldn’t catch his beauty), whether it was for a music video filming or for a variety show. he finds himself in the waiting room, they’ll be joining knowing brothers today. hyoseop looks in the mirror, it’s been a while since he wore a school uniform, last time was probably last time he was on knowing brothers.

“you haven’t been on the show before, right?” he turns to jaejin. though the two were members now, hyoseop still found himself a bit unfamiliar with jaejin, not really knowing what the other had done prior to type zero. jaejin was enjoyable to be around though, and hyoseop wouldn’t complain about his addition to type zero, seyoon’s neither. “you look good in the school uniform though” he nods, was jaejin still a student? hyoseop feels like that’s something he should know.

Hanteo Music Awards, so far now, Parker settles in his seat and claps along with the other artists and the crowd as a newer girl group concludes their performance. As the camera shifts back on the hosts, Parker spends a moment watching the stage crew reset and prepare for the next performance, and then back towards where the fans are sitting. A good number of them are excitedly watching the hosts, lightsticks in hand, but the portion of the crowd closest to them has their eyes on them and the other idols seated. The low lights of the hall catch on phone cases and the lenses of cameras, and Parker can’t help but chuckle before turning towards Hyoseop.

“Is that one of yours?” He asks, gesturing politely towards one of the girls holding a particularly large camera. He wouldn’t say he knows all of his fansites but this one looks familiar and not, but her focus /is/ in his direction. The very mild recognition, therefore, makes him wonder if it’s another member’s fan. “Go on! Pose! Make a handsome face~!” He teases, leaning forward so the other idol can hear him over the speakers and the crowd.

ADJUSTMENT PERIOD @lgcbaekhyun

For approximately two days after being introduced to the Type Zero boys, Seyoon walked around with a bit of extra caution. His brain was like alright, let's be on our best behavior and not get disliked. We should also figure out if they have some sort of new member initiation ceremony and what that would involve.

It turned out there was no initiation task. No dark cloaks, no dances around a fire pit under the moonlight, or sacrifices necessary.

Boo.

So by the third day, Seyoon was completely back to being himself and the dirty sweatpants were under the bed again. You'd think he would restrain himself a while longer considering he was sharing a room with their leader, except he used to dorm with Baekhyun and was therefore utterly unafraid of the guy.

"Wanna help me with my dance moves?" He draped himself over Baekhyun. "I'll pay you back with compliments." Seyoon grinned shamelessly. "In Mandarin."

The tables have turned and Baek was proclaimed as the interim leader of Type Zero. He would laugh at anyone’s face if they told him a year prior that that’s how his life would be, but alas, it’s not like he can’t turn the offer down. It’s not at all what he had ever expected from being part of a boy group, but Baek has never backed away from a challenge, so he opens his arms for this new experience.

Except he wishes his arms weren’t that open to new experiences because he has had at least a dozen mini crisis since he started trying to come up with ideas of what to do for the small, personalized gifts for fans. He’s usually not this dense about things like this, but maybe because it’s his first fanmeeting as a member of TZ, he didn’t want to feel like he didn’t put effort.

That’s how he ends up at Kai’s door, with a defeated expression on his face as he knocks and waits maybe three seconds before peaking inside gingerly, “Kaaaai,” he whines, “do you have a minute?”

eunho sits down with daeho, smilies over at the other and hums softly. even thought it had only been a little while since daeho ahd been picked to be the leader, he felt like daeho also suited it. maybe it was because he was comfortable with the younger, eunho wasn’t sure - “ so what did you like about filming in china, daeho? ”

it was honestly a whole blur to him, being in china and speaking chinese again felt like riding a bike after a while, he was so out of practice in the language. it was almost a disgrace considering how much effort he had spent learning it. thankfully he still remembered most, it had just taken him a little while.

since he was alone and figured footage of him just walking won’t do much good, he spoke his thoughts aloud as he walked down qilou old street with the camera man next to him. “so daeho-hyung and i’s letter is x--which is easy to remember because it’s just a cross, like this” he made a large x with his arms. “now what starts with x...this is hard, i can only think of an x-ray.” he decided that rather than trying to figured out every word that started with x, he would just keep on the move and hope he came across something with an x on it. he and the staff assigned to him walked around the street for a bit, chatting and trying to find an x of some sort--dowoon was getting desperate.

“ooh this is an x!” seeing something in the distance, he ran straight towards the item, leaving the cameraman in the dust. once the camera man caught up with dowoon, he presented the item with glee and pride. it was a sign that read, xylophones 50% off in english, at the front of a small music store. he then started messing with the sign, noticing the tight screws on it. “it’s kinda on there tight--so do i take a picture, or i guess i could ask if i could borrow the sign for a bit? the owner might not mind.” he peered into the store to get a read on who was attending the store. that was when the manager next to the cameraman started to giggle. “what--i need the x right? we’re supposed to find the x... and dowoon look confused. the manager then re-explained the rules, he had to buy the item for one and “OOOOH find an item with a name that starts with x...i see.” he scratched the back of his head, laughing but feeling ashamed for the mistake. 

“well, i guess i’ll keep looking...” he took all of about five steps away from the store, before he remembered the sign itself. “OH! we can get a xylophone!” once again he laughed but had a look of shame on his face as he opened the door into the shop. “this is why the hyungs don’t usually leave me alone” he joked towards the camera.

he decided to take a moment to look around the shop. when he still had the time, he would spend much of a day practicing piano, so he went straight to that small section and played a bit. he played mary had a little lamb for the camera, as well as the part of type zero’s song, before the dawn that he could remember (which wasn’t a lot), “i’m out of practice--i hope my old piano teacher isn’t watching...sorry choi-seonsaengnim.” ashamed seemed to be the emotino of the day for him. he continued to browse around the shop. it wasn’t anything crazy elaborate or large, a couple pianos, guitars, and drums on display--probably family owned if he had to guess. 

he got to the percussion section and went straight towards the xylephones. “jackpot!!!” he exclaimed. there was a box marked sale and filled with loose damaged or lost xylephone keys. he figured that had to count right?? he got as many as he could get--plus a xun, because he thought it seemed cool. with that, he thanked the shop owner and realize he had to race back to the meeting spot to tally the result--he really hoped he won.

Unable to help himself, Parker let out a loud bark of laughter when questioned the fact that he was handsome. “Of course, you!” Parker urged, moving a little to nudge the other. Given everything they’d gone through that year, both good and bad, Parker had grown to really appreciate and rely on the older boy. And more than that, he couldn’t help but find Daeho’s shyness somewhat amusing. In Parker’s mind, the Daeho was too cool and talented for the way he sometimes struck back, and perhaps that alone is why Parker never held back when it came to complimenting him. Sure Daeho had fans who probably thought that way, but as someone close to him, Parker decided he was in a better position to convince him. “Oh like a schoolboy concept?” he inquired before he turned to address the camera, “Oh what would you think of that? We can be bad boys!” Again he laughed and turned to smile Daeho brightly. “Daeho is like a misunderstood bad boy. You think he’s tough but his heart is very kind.”  

In regards to the uniform question, Parker shook his head, a few strands of hair swaying in the process. “No, it’s not really common back home, unless you go to a fancy private school. There were a few rules but mostly you could wear whatever you wanted.” Hearing Daeho label himself average, Parker couldn’t help but nod thoughtfully before laughing once more at the assumption of him being a lady's man. “I think I was pretty normal too but I had a lot of friends. I got along with most people, so honestly school was pretty okay.” 

Parker moved a little to sit on the arm rest of the makeup chair. “What was your best subject?”

the camera were nothing new to daeho, in fact he was used to them by now. but to say he was fully confident to be on camera would be a lie. there were still a couple more things he needed to work out. so when parker started talking into the camera daeho definitely wanted to run an hide behind the camera.

turning his attention away from his phone he looked up at the camera. he smile a small shy smile before using both of his hands to wave hello. after a minute he finally spoke "hi, everyone! & hello to you parker!" parker comment made him fluster as he used his hand to cover his face from the embarrassment he felt, it still didn't feel natural for him to be vlogging. "me handsome?" he said in a questionable tone as he looked into the camera view. "wow, together, we both look very handsome huh."

"really? maybe this should be type zero's official uniform. it look good on you." daeho compliment his group mate. "did you not wear uniform at your old school?" daeho questioning realizing that he didn't know much about parker's past. "popular? I was average. nothing special." it was a humble but very true statement. "you were probably the popular one, especially with the ladies huh?" daeho said jokingly. maybe with parker this vlogging might not be too bad.

it was, fun, being an idol, different than hyoseop had expected, but fun. there was more diversity it felt like, being a trainee was a lot of practicing, and though hyoseop still practiced a lot and hard, there was now other things on his schedule as well. he had solo stuff going now, modeling for ice cream brands and joining variety shows by himself. he also of course got to do a lot with his members, modeling together with them, preparing for comebacks and such together, and of course, performing together.

they’re at the waterbomb in singapore, waiting for their turn to go on stage. he turns to baek, a smile on his lips. “how are you feeling? i’m quite excited” he runs a hand through his hair. “finally getting the chance to show off my body” he runs a hand over his stomach, a laugh escaping his lips. “do you think we’ll be very wet once we leave the scene…? i think they have some sort of water guns we can wet the audience with”.

Parker’s eyes are still a bit glassy with sleep and his hair is far from idol like when he returns from brushing his teeth and washing his face, sluggishly tossing his towel on his unkempt bed. Some days are harder than others to get up, and the fact it’s winter doesn’t help much at all. While the heated floors are nice, pulling himself out of bed in the cold, dark takes even more energy than he has to spare, but he does it. Partly because he has no choice. Now that they have their new members and the songs for their next album, they have practices and a lot of them.

“You ready?” Parker asks his roommate, sparing the rapper a small, tired glance before he goes about to try and locate some socks and beanie to throw on before their manager starts calling their phones, urging them to hurry up. He finds a beanie he thinks is his and some socks that might actually be Baekhyun’s, and sits back down on his bed to pull them on. “I wonder if it snowed last night— it’s cold.” He comments, casting a glance towards the window, only a bit of sky peaking through the split in the curtains.

SHOPPING TRIP with @lgcjaejin

Money! He had company-given cash in his hands. Granted, it was only 56,000 won, which was like...50 Canadian dollars. Also, the money was meant to be spent on other people. Still! Seyoon was excited.

"Let's go, let's go!" He chanted, rocking back and forth on his heels as he thought about present options. "Parker hyung is so easy to please, he'll probably take anything. We could get him food if we want to keep it simple. Should we try checking out a Christmas craft market?" Seyoon rambled on, his lips struggling to keep up with his stream of ideas.

"I think Kai likes gaming. Maybe we can get him something related to that. He's also cute...Perhaps he'd like a hand-knitted beanie. I got mine from a market last week. See, isn't it nice?" He moved closer and tilted his head so Jaejin could properly examine his beanie. It was very cozy-looking and made with thick crimson yarn. A pair of gold antlers peeked out atop for a wonderful Christmas vibe. "Are we supposed to pool our money together for the boys or get four presents each?"

TZ STUDIOS - BAEK EDITION

It didn't matter how much Baek tried to come up with an idea for his studio, but he would come out blank every time. That's why, at some point, he just gave up on it and decided to go with what he knew best and wished that would be enough for the time being.

Baek has no interest in producing, and he's not a dancer either, so both ideas of having a room full of sound equipment and instruments or a dance practice place didn't fit in with what he needed. Maybe that's why it took him so long to figure out what he wanted to do.

First of all, he didn't want to follow a clean/minimalistic palette because that's simply too boring and too reminiscent of the style his parents like, and since he's still in his detaching from family trauma phase, he doesn't want any of that in a space that is supposed to be his.

That's why one of the first things he gets for his studio is a comfy, green sofa because he doesn't think he'll spend a lot of time sweating in this place (even though mirrors are covering a whole wall, just in case). The next thing that comes is a sound system of quality that allows him to practice singing and prepare for his performances. There's also a computer set because you never know when he's going to need it.

Because Baek enjoys photography, there are a few of his works on the walls near the PC setup. It ranges from solo shots of himself, and his brother, and landscapes. There are also a few polaroid pictures of TZ members and one of their fans taken during a concert (not by him).

RULES

[ Silence is not mandatory, but encouraged ]

Especially if you're just coming into the room, someone else might already be there doing something (practicing, writing, sleeping). So be a sweetheart and read the room before storming in and making too much noise. Once you've got a good grip on what's happening inside, act accordingly.

[ Share your food. Asking if someone wants a bite won't kill you ]

If you're bringing food, at least offer it to the other people who are already there or who eventually come after you. Sharing is caring might be a sweet thought, but this is just a basic courtesy.

[ Clean after yourselves. We're all grownups ]

Baek isn't the tidiest person, so he's not requesting that people leave the room impeccably clean, but if you brought food, take the trash out. If you practiced dancing and sweat a lot, don't leave it on the floor to facilitate stains and make it smelly. Keep it clean so they can use this space comfortably for as long as possible.

[ Avoid putting your shoes on the couch ]

It's a pretty green couch. If you feel like putting your feet up (like Baek always does), take off your shoes and maybe even your socks. If you really can't take them off for some reason, just leave your feet hanging on the sides of the sofá.

Your hands have oils and dirt and a bunch of other things that when in contact with photographs, might lessen their lifespan, so don't manipulate them if you can avoid it.

The Art of Giving

Jaejin sat on the cool tile floor of the cramped room, the soft hum of the building’s heater filling the quiet space. He glanced at Bomin, who sat nearby, looking at the gifts Jaejin had just finished wrapping. There was a sense of finality now, no more second-guessing—just the satisfaction of having chosen what he thought were the right gifts.

“This one’s for Baekhyun,” Jaejin said, picking up the wrapped gift with a slight smile. “It’s a mug with the phrase ‘World’s Okayest Boss’ on it, complete with a 3/5 star rating. It’s a bit of a joke, but it’s also really well-made—solid, high-quality ceramic, and the print won’t fade. I thought it was something he could actually use, but it would make him laugh every time. So it’s practical, with a fun twist.”

He set that gift aside and moved on to the next. “This is for Kai. I got him this navy tote bag with a retro gaming controller embroidered on the front. It seemed perfect for him—he’s into retro games, and the design is just fun without being over the top. I think he’ll get a lot of use out of it, whether it’s for carrying things around or just as a casual statement piece. I kept it simple with clean, navy wrapping and a white ribbon.”

Jaejin then picked up the next package, which was a bit more delicate. “For Hyoseop, I got this leather-bound journal. It’s got that timeless feel—thick, high-quality paper. It’s perfect for jotting down ideas or just reflecting. I paired it with a sleek pen, something that feels special but also practical. It’s subtle, but the kind of thing he could use every day. I think it’ll suit him well.”

Lastly, Jaejin picked up the final gift. “For Parker, I went with a set of hand-poured soy candles—lavender, cedarwood, and citrus. I thought the variety would be nice, something he could use to set different moods depending on what he needs at the moment. I wrapped them in a deep green paper and tied them with rustic twine, keeping it simple and earthy.”

He leaned back, giving the gifts one last glance. “I think these are good choices. Each one feels thoughtful, like it’s something they can enjoy but also appreciate the meaning behind. I’m happy with how they turned out.”

even though nathan hasn’t been a student for, err, a while now - he still wouldn’t pass up the opportunity to say that he does not miss high school in the slightest. even though being a trainee was a lot stricter and way more stressful, at least he got something decent out of it. high school, on the other hand, was filled with nothing but arbitrary grades and projects that amounted to, what? a measly piece of paper that was probably made on microsoft word?

so when they were invited back to appear on ‘run to you’, nathan had mixed feelings. on one hand, he loathed the idea of just stepping into another high school, but on the other hand, it was nice to be able to meet their younger fans face-to-face like this (plus, it was fun to be on the other side of the company’s pranking antics for once).

standing by in an empty classroom designated as their waiting room for the day, nathan sighed as he sat himself in a vacant seat next to dowoon. “it’s a bit embarrassing showing up in our stage costumes, but at least we’re not cosplaying in high school uniforms, right?” he muses aloud. “dowoon-ah, when was the last time you wore a uniform?—wait, when did you even graduate high school?”
