🔴 Red- What is a trait your OC has that those around them don't see very often? Is it seen by a rare few or completely overlooked?

hm that's a toughie. maybe the fact that she does genuinely care for her family a lot. she's practically characterised by her loyalty to haki and arleon so it's easily overshadowed, plus there's that conspiracy theory/rumour that she killed her brother herself to steal his title, so only the people she's close to are really aware of how much her family matters to her.

🟠 Orange- What is a trait your OC hides about themself from others? Do they refuse to acknowledge it or begrudgingly accept it?

so the obvious answer is her crush on haki except no one doesn't know so...

probably her attachment to lilias as a whole. it was a means to an end at first, or a halfway escape. she started out as a knight trainee there to stay just close enough to haki when her playing at haki's knight stopped being cute to the countess, then when her brother died she left to assume his title and handle family matters to give his wife and son space to grieve. shoftly afterwards, the rumours about her killing him started up and only got more insistent the more time passed that she still held the title, so she gave that up and moved back to lilias.

it's like the halfway point between her home and haki (not geographically bc i don't understand ans geography. or geography in general.) but it became a place all its own over the years even if she wants to pretend it's easy to leave it behind a second time when haki gets married and lilias supposedly loses its purpose for her. but she doesn't have an excuse to be there anymore and also her poor overworked vicecaptain deserves the captaincy for all that he practically runs the place for her anyway, so she steps back again. she's good at letting go.

🟡 Yellow- What is something your OC wants but knows they can never have? How does it feel to never get this specific desire?

all roads lead to haki 😔 aside from that, she really misses her brother. him and his wife practically raised her because their parents died while she was very young and there's like a fifteen year age gap between her and her brother. he dies when she's about sixteen. she tries not to think about him and it's part of the reason why she avoids going home.

⚪️ White- When was a moment in your OC's life that they felt the most vulnerable and exposed? Were they alone or surrounded?

not an exact moment perse, but probably when she was first brought into the duke's household. she was an illegitimate child and grew up with only her commoner mother as family. it was definitely a learning curve and she had to get used to always being around people in a different way than before.

⚽️ Soccer Ball- Who is someone that your OC believes in and roots for? Are they private about their admiration or do they make it well known?

her older sister! amira looks up to her sister a lot and it shows very much. they're half-siblings and her sister is currently the head of their family (duchess). it's nearly to the point of blind loyalty and it worries her friends (mostly kiki and zen) because she doesn't really get the same energy back.

... so both amira and retsu have sibling issues. oops.
