no, but, for real now. i think jake and din would get along, and fischl too. jake would indulge fischl’s whole ‘prinzessin der verurteilung’ thing and play along with her (definitely trying to be a cool uncle figure), and i think din would too, after some persuasion. basil would find all three of them annoying. will would be happy to finally have another friend near his age, even if she is also from a different world like lyra was. everyone would get along with klee, no doubt. its impossible not to love that kid, even if she is blowing shit up half the time.

i dont remember a lot about katherine anymore. i dont remember her face, what she sounded like, her personality. it gets to me a little bit. not knowing. but i remember her hair. i remember playing with it. running my fingers through it and telling her she was the most beautiful person i had ever laid my eyes on. i like to think i meant it at the time. perhaps i wouldnt now, but i did then.
