Before sticking with the WoL/WoL ship I had with my BF, he was the first NPC I wanted to pursue when I first met him in ARR and didn’t have any clue of his character entirely back then, but he seems like the type for Ériu (I’m a sucker for elf man and those with a heart of gold haha), then came Heavensward and a certain friend cheering me on about the guy, I’m like “man…he’s totally so sweet and genuine and I hate he’s becoming more of my Ériu’s type” lmao

Idk tbh, I’m overthinking things, regardless the outcome of the two, I still their relationship is mutual in some way

Though in my personal headcanon, I just think Haurchefant does genuinely—but slowly—love Ériu, but Ériu herself hasn’t really notice it (yet)and just genuinely love Haurchefant’s company in general, though I’m in agony thinking Haurchefant may end up being Ériu’s first love, in some capacity??? I forget she’s Demi, she might start to have feelings later, but I can’t say for sure until I delve more into the story

I can totally get this sort-of ship to work, like some temporary ship before Ériu and Shade become a thing (they’re both on platonic terms at the moment), I might just hold out on the idea for now

Us Batfamily fic writers need to get even more creative with the kind of tech the Bats use on patrol. I’m talking like ascending/descending tones in their earpieces to indicate incoming hostiles or attacks. Sensors and biometrics in the armor with read-outs in their lenses. Little metal clips attached to their back molars so they can engage comms or other tech hands free by clicking their teeth together a certain way. Gloves that lock a certain way depending on how the fingers are positioned so they can activate their gauntlets for a fall/slide. Magnetic soles to their boots that engage with a certain click command. Implants they can trigger by holding their breath long enough to indicate they need a rescue. Etc.
