// I’m making this post, as a result of seeing way too much hate and misinfo regarding every character. Nobody stops anyone from voicing their opinion but the need to degrade a character, while providing BAD reasons or stating incorrect/out-of-context facts about them only for the sake of internet validation, is such a loser move.
We’re all in this fandom to have fun and even if you have something negative to say about a character you don’t like, keep it to yourself or in private with your friends.
Ayato:
“I don’t like Ayato, he’s overrated”, omg you’re just sooo different! Definitely not like other girls/guys!
Everyone is allowed to dislike whatever they want but if Ayato is your least/one of your least favorite DL characters, then your opinion ISN’T valid. This is a franchise full of abusive characters and he’s literally the most heroic love interest. Why would you hate the hero…?
“He’s dumb and annoying”, says the person who spends their time insulting FICTIONAL characters. 1) Japanese fans like dumb characters, since they come off as endearing; 2) Ayato outdid everyone throughout the routes.
He did more good than all of his brothers and saying that X, Y or Z deserves the main role more, is fake fan behavior because at this point you’re just setting up your favs.
Kanato:
No, you’re not cool for calling him ugly. It’s okay if you’re not into that type of characters but his design is not bad at all.
“He had no development”, he does in CL. It’s not major but it can still be visible.
The whole Teddy thing might be annoying to some of you, but his fans get why he acts that way. Let’s not forget that he is a victim of neglect.
Yes, he was sexually exploited too. Don’t forget this x2.
Laito:
“I hate Laito so much, he was so cruel in HDB 😢”; stop living in the past and move on already.
His development shouldn’t be overlooked only because your opinion about him was formed on something that came out more than 10 years ago.
He’s still the most fascinating DL character and I get that he might make some of you feel uncomfortable but don’t project your triggers on a character that’s merely made after a trope.
Shu:
No, it’s not Shu’s fault for the way Reiji acted. Envy is never a good reason to hurt someone.
“Shu roasts the heroine the most!”, I get that it’s rude but his insults are actually funny?? A bunch of people will like him for being brutally honest or a jerk because it’s literally a game for players with masochistic fantasies. They WANT to be roasted by good-looking men. That’s the point.
“Shu is lazy and stupid, he’s the only one who failed his school year”, genuine question: If you were an immortal creature that doesn’t need food or sleep to survive, would you still care about grades? Besides, he’s really smart.
“Shu doesn’t care about Yuma, he just feels guilty”, in LE he sacrificed himself for him and reincarnated merely because he wished to meet Yuma again and get on well with him in another life—
Reiji:
“He hurt Shu and Yuma”, well yeah but he was shown plenty of times regretting it and trying to fix things. Stop reminding this to Reiji stans because that conflict is already closed.
“He is so mean in other routes”, obviously?? If you don’t teach him how to love, he won’t suddenly act nice towards anyone.
Without him Yui would fail her tests and the Sakamaki household would be in chaos.
Subaru:
“W-What do you mean baby Tsundere is not soft innocent virgin boy? 🥺”; he has never been like that, that’s how YOU perceived him. Stop acting so shocked every time Subaru does something bad because he’s still a vampire after all??
Also, why are so many people reducing his character to Kou and/or Yui—? He’s much more than that and has his own interests, struggles, likes, dislikes, and so on.
“He’s irrelevant”; Diabolik Lovers has 13 love interests, they can’t make everyone extremely important to the general plot. Just enjoy a character as it is, it’s not that hard.
Ruki:
The cat jokes were funny when the Meow Meow Vampire art came out but MOVE ON. I hate that scene and Ruki was in the wrong but come on now, that’s not even the worst thing he has done and MB happened in 2013.
I understand not liking Ruki as a person, because he’s mostly not a good one, but this doesn’t mean he’s not a good character.
“Ruki deserved what happened to him in the past because he was cruel towards everyone”; while I agree that Karma hit him, I wouldn’t say any child really deserves to go through that. He was just a spoiled brat, who most likely wasn’t taught by his parents about modesty or kindness.
Kou:
“He was so cruel in MB 😣”, and HE HAD DEVELOPMENT! He’s not the same anymore, nobody is.
“He overreacts”, sometimes he’s not in the wrong and has all rights to be angry.
Kou isn’t afraid of going against Ruki, even if he’s the brother he admires the most, as long as he knows that what Ruki is doing isn’t good.
Yuma:
“He beat Yui up in the MB bad ending!😡😡”, it’s a bad ending for a reason, lol.
Pretty reminder that Yuma always tries to help others with Kou and Azusa, and was even willing to save the ghouls in LE.
“Yuma doesn’t care about Shu”, did we play the same game or…?
Azusa:
“Azusa is so horrible, he threw Teddy in the fire!”; and he only did it to save Yui, it was not intentional.
While not all his actions are good, keep in mind that he never means any harm and is overall such a sweet guy.
“He is too clingy”; I know that might not be everyone’s cup of tea but is it really worth hating a character just for wanting affection?
The Tsukinamis and Kino:
“They were too easy to defeat in DF!”; Dark Fate wasn’t entirely about them to begin with. Most routes focused on the boys’ internal struggles with their trauma and how to move past it.
“Kino is sometimes mean for the sake of being mean”; it’s almost as if he’s the ✨villain✨
It’s dumb questioning the morals of characters supposed to have an antagonistic role.
“Kino hurt Ayato in LE”; out of all characters who have wronged Ayato, at least Kino felt bad and wanted to apologize.
Yui:
“She’s dumb and ugly”; Japanese fans literally love her for being an idiot because it wouldn’t be fun to see the heroine being the best at everything or not making mistakes at all. Plus, her design is definitely not ugly.
Stop creating your own version of Yui in your head and ending up disappointed when she doesn’t act the way you expect her to. No, Yui is not OOC for liking being bitten, having a low learning ability or saying things she shouldn’t in the wrong moments. Nobody is perfect and everyone has their own kinks and flaws.
“She’s too innocent”; she’s not?? If you really want to see her thirsty, go play Ayato’s routes, especially the heaven scenarios.
“She’s weak”, she’s the opposite. Yui is one of the most mentally strong DL characters.
I can’t understand people who hate on heroines when they’re present in all routes and are the most positive characters.

War of the Rohirrim: My Thoughts
So, I just got back from seeing this movie and I thought I'd write up a little review, I'll give a brief overview first and put spoilers under the cut.
First off, let me get this out of the way: I really, really enjoyed it! Which isn't to say that the movie didn't have problems, just that I was thoroughly entertained throughout and also got way more invested in it than I thought I would! It was a nice, self-contained little story that did service to Tolkien's Legendarium while still allowing for creative changes and I thought it all worked really well the way it was told. The animation was absolutely stunning in a lot of scenes (notably the fight scenes!), though I did have some issues with it in others. Notably with the compositing of the 2D and 3D art together, some of those just did not look right, but they were few and far enough between that they didn't detract overmuch for me.
The cast of characters were vibrant and well-crafted, especially the supporting cast for me, and the voice acting for everyone was on point. I also really liked the general design and portrayal of the whole cast, I thought they all looked very good. Notable standout character for me would be: the princes, Háma and Haleth, the King's nephew, Fréaláf, and the shieldmaiden, Olwyn. And honorable mention to the Dunlanding general, Turgg, too. I can't tell if it was just the nostalgic Howard Shore score returning in some parts or if I just generally liked the whole soundtrack (notably not composed by Shore this time), but I felt like the music was very good as well. Very suitable to the world and Rohan specifically.
And, last but certainly not least, I thought the vibe of the film was just incredible. Even moreso than with the Hobbit movies, The War of the Rohirrim felt like Middle-Earth. The vibes of the movie were impeccable and it actually seemed like a genuine story set in the original trilogy's Rohan. The styles and dialogue and whole atmosphere of the film seemed very in line with Peter Jackson's original trilogy and I think that's what elevated the whole thing for me, enough to overlook its flaws, which I will get into more detail in below the cut.
Overall, I personally would rank this a solid 6.5/10. It certainly didn't match the original trilogy and likely wasn't even as good as my favorite of the Hobbit movies, either. (Which is the first one, of course. 😌) A very solid addition to the Middle-Earth series and enjoyable enough that I'll definitely be watching it again, but nothing particularly groundbreaking. If you are a LotR fan, I feel like you'll like it. If you're an anime fan, you might get a good story and some pretty characters out of it. If you're a more casual movie watcher, it might be a tad hit or miss. But overall, I consider it a very solid movie.
Now, on to spoilers.
So, first off, let's talk about Héra. I've seen a lot of entertainment outlets and reviewers criticizing her character (or lack thereof) and calling her a "Mary Sue" which is, in my opinion, just a very lazy critique of her. The movie sets her up as this free spirit, a warrior king's daughter who grew up learning to fight and ride and adventure alongside her brothers. She is a beloved princess of the realm who the people greet by name, who is kind and compassionate, clever and competent, who dreams of one day being free of her royal duties and be able to travel where she pleases. Oh, and she has an overprotective father who wants to marry her off to try and keep her safe. A textbook Mary Sue, right?
Well, no, I'd very much beg to differ.
Héra is a flawed character. Time and again, her youth and inexperience lead her into situations she can't handle and she is a liability just as often as she's shown to be a hero. And time and again her compassion is taken advantage of, to the detriment of herself and others. The fact that she is clever and headstrong and grows into a deadly warrior by the end does not make her a Mary Sue. But that's also not to say that I found her to be the most compelling, either.
Don't get me wrong, she definitely had some amazing moments (her conversation with Wulf in Orthanc, her wisdom in evacuating Edoras and her traps laid out before its siege, her amazing "I'm no man's bride." "Who are you promised to?" "Death!" line read?) but she was rather generic to me all things told. However, she's shored up by an excellent supporting cast and a great plot, so I didn't feel I really needed a super interesting protagonist to follow. She is excellent in her role as the POV character for the events happening around her and she becomes anchored enough in the main plot by the role her family plays and the obsession the main antagonist has with her.
Which, speaking of...
Another character I really want to call out is Wulf. Because he... was a missed opportunity imo. I get what they were going for with him I guess? Hm, a sort of Maeglin approach to him almost, for those familiar with the Silmarillion, where becomes obsessed with the object of his desire to the point of madness and villainy. However, I personally feel as if his character could've been so much better if they'd taken him in a different direction? These are all my own thought and you don't have to agree, but hear me out: I think they should've tried to humanize Wulf more. We are told early on that he and Héra are childhood friends, but we're only ever given the barest glimpse of a flashback between them to set that up? We have one short conversation between them at the very beginning after his proposal to her and after that he takes a sheer dive into villainy that he double and triples down on as the story goes. But if the movie truly wanted us to feel as if there was a connection between them at all, I feel like they should've emphasized that relationship a lot more. Show more of their time together as children. Give more scenes to Wulf of him experiencing discrimination because of his Dunlanding blood. Give him moments of hesitation and remorse when he's forced into conflict with Héra. Like, I genuinely believed that's where the movie was going at the end? I really thought that, after their big fight where Héra has him on the ground and shows him mercy, I thought he was leaping up at her to die. I thought he intentionally missed her with his blade because he wanted her to kill him after everything he's done and that was the only way he could accept it happening. I thought the movie might come full circle again to showing that, despite everything, there was something genuine to his affections? That he wasn't wholly evil or deranged and that his declaration of love had been true once upon a time, even if he'd since forswore it after his father was killed. I really thought they would give him some glimpse of humanity. But no, he was genuinely just trying to kill her again and she beat his ass and that's that. Honestly much less impactful to me. Like, don't get me wrong, I absolutely did not want him to be redeemed. (Especially not after the absolutely abhorrent way he killed Háma right in front of Héra and Helm, oof.) But just any show of him not just being some black and white villain would've been welcome. Just the tiniest bit of complexity to a truly vile villain makes them stand out all the more for me and I think Wulf would've been truly memorable if he'd had that.
Now, my issues with the two leads out of the way, I just wanna bring it back around to the positives again and say how delightful I found the rest of the supporting cast? For all that they were barely in it, I was just instantly captivated by Haleth and Háma, not even joking. As soon as Héra rode in to Háma singing his little song for her, I knew I had a favorite. Oh, what's this? He's a poet and a bard and a handsome warrior prince?! Well, I'll be. It seems he was specially crafted to be my new blorbo, lol! And then Haleth showed up and my mind just instantly associated the two of them with my two absolute favorite Tolkien character and I knew I was a goner. (Please tell me I'm not the only one to instantly get Maedhros and Maglor vibes from them, eh? Which, in retrospect, Haleth is much more how I picture Celegorm, lol, but still. That initial projection really stuck in my mind. XD)
Héra's servant, Olwyn, was also such a pleasant surprise? I didn't expect much of her at the start, but she really grew on me as the film went on. I love that you just have to piece together her backstory as a shieldmaiden of Rohan and then you can start using that to theorize about Héra and how she idolizes them and it all just clicks together so well? And it's always nice to see an awesome older woman kicking ass!
And then Fréaláf showed up and he was just like the coolest guy ever?! Yooooooo, I loved him so much, even though he got so sidelined in the movie. 😭 But his appearance at the end wearing Helm's armor and blowing that horn was just awesome. I don't even care if his whole arc was a bit derivative of Éomer's from the films, I still just dug his whole vibe and personality. And it's terrible how Haleth and Háma had to die (like oof, both their deaths were just... so brutal 😭😭😭), but it's obvious that Fréaláf will make a fantastic king for Rohan.
Helm Hammerhand was, of course, amazingly badass, they really kept that part intact. And though I wouldn't say he was particularly likeable as a character, he certainly was compelling to watch. And his death scene, of course, just went so hard.
And yes, shoutout again to Turgg, the Dunlander, for being cool and levelheaded throughout the whole movie. Honestly, if that guy became the Dunlanding leader instead of Wulf, things would've gone like 2000x better for everyone. And I do love that he finally just outright refuses to do Wulf's bidding at the end. It is certainly an instance of too little, too late by that point, but still. I appreciate that he at least had some sort of line he wouldn't cross, even if it was purely because he finally saw how mad Wulf had become. Cool character, I liked him a lot.
I already spoke a bit about the music and the animation up top, so I won't rehash all that, but I just want to highlight a few outlying thoughts I had.
What the heck was up with that Watcher in the Water just chilling in the woods there? That seemed so random. And also, it ate that entire mumik like it was nothing, wot?
In general, the scale of things was kind a crazy? It seemed to vary a lot scene by scene and it was hard sometimes to really tell the perspective of anything.
I absolutely loved Miranda Otto coming back to act as the narrator for this film? Not only was it wonderful to hear Éowyn again in a new project, but I loved how they used it as a sort of framing device, like it was Éowyn telling us a story of her people. (And I love the thought of her being inspired by this legend of Héra as a little girl and dreaming of being a shieldmaiden, too.)
I love that Olwyn didn't die?! I was just waiting for it to happen the whole movie, she had so many death flags it was unreal. But then it just... didn't happen! Yes!
What on Middle-Earth was that dang siege tower Wulf built? Omg, that thing was ridiculous. When they were raising it up and it just kept going higher and higher and higher?! It was like a skyscraper there for a minute, what? And then it just crashed down and didn't break? XD I'm pretty sure I audibly said "Yo, wtf?" in the theater when I saw that part, lol. (It's okay, I was literally the only person there. >_>)
I didn't realize Dominic Monaghan and Billy Boyd were the voices of those two orcs until I saw the credits? That was a neat cameo!
Why oh why is there no WotR AO3 tag up yet? 😭 How am I supposed to find fix-it fics about mah boi Háma now? 😭😭😭
That one eagle sure was helpful in this movie, omg. And lol, I like that they established that the eagles and wizards can talk to each other? Lol, Maia to Maia communication. XD
But yeah, those are my initial thoughts. Overall, a very enjoyable experience! I was really glad to be back in Middle-Earth again, especially since my interest in all things Tolkien has been massively reinvigorated lately by my newfound fascination with The Silmarillion. This movie hit at a perfect time for me and I enjoyed it greatly. Thanks for coming to my TED Talk movie review. XD
#war of the rohirrim#lotr#silmarillion#tolkien#movie review#spoilers#war of the rohirrim spoilers#long post#if you don't want to read all that just know that I really enjoyed this movie lol XD#not as good to me as the original three or my favorite of the Hobbit films#but still really good#definitely flawed but still a very enjoyable experience ^_^

Headcanons I've been cooking;
-the paradise theater doing a mystery science theater 3000 bit most days (I'm like 90% sure that its basically the equivalent in their multiverse anyway, oops)
-frank and clementine still tries to keep contact and make visits if even possible anymore. June likes to receive letters and postcards as a loose penpal relationship as proof of their "mad lib situation"
-I feel robbed that June and Ava didn't interact much, they'd have so much fun and nobody would be able to handle these bar buds. Never mind theres probably a reason why these two aren't allowed in a bar together, but I love their raw chaos and hijinks would definitely go on
-Gloria makes the storage closet her room at first but when Caspar gets back, he gives her the main office since she's da b0ss now, she still spends a lot of time camping with her bts wolves making stew for them, its her own therapy
-Leif putting together a game console for the gang when theyre bored, Caspar is the best at retro games surprisingly aside from the fact hes been asking for a pinball machine forever, everyone cracks old man jokes. Mostly David and Ava, his biggest hecklers <3
-eventually they begin to cultivate a small arcade, leif fixes up a few machines for the diner (its free) kids across the cosmos go 'you mean you have to play the game with your hands?? Its like a baby's toy :/" caspar is flabbergasted, Leif just shrugs and goes "i warned you bro" and does more Leif shit
-David plays cod on their designated staff console in the office space in their down time between shifts. Feet kicked up and the lazy fan blowing, do you see my vision? this is the most important highlight so far
-David used to stream sometimes on earth in LA for funsies now and then during lockdown when he wasnt up for running out at night vandalizing the blank canvas known as the streets
-he still talks to his mom and plays catch up even from space despite the time it takes to send messages. David continues to find her drunk calls entertaining (canon anyway) Caspar doesn't really drink alcohol and is worried about the loss of control, I think hes just anxious and insecure about it.
*I don't really think caspar was much of a dick when he drank raising david, he probably was a rambling annoying dad with a shitty attitude that was hard to tolerate. like, okay, old man, we get it the world sucksss stop being so sad and let's play legos and not roleplay the state of the economic decline about it (shh, I'm not projecting gay son and drunk well meaning dad dynamics)
-Ava peer pressures Caspar *only* for celebrations anyway
-micheladas for everyone the next day, some sweet hair of the dog when the various drank theyre able to get their hands on is too much to cope with the next day if they still even have moonshine to spare left
-Leif stocks up on so much fucking hash whilst in Pasadena (as one does stuck in shitty corners of California for hangovers, generalized depression, and dread. hence all the alcohol mentions I'm not promoting alcoholic diner dwellers I swear-) which tbh parallels the way Ava stocks up nicotine from ye old moonshiner imo
Idk I have more I might add and tack on later I love these doofuses
#midnight burger#caspar scott#we open at six#leif thorvaldson#ava maddox#Gloria#david scott#clementine#frank#June#am I missing anybody?#I have some I'm cooking about terric hes an interesting dude#I guess I'm also projecting my old habits onto these guys since I'm now “str8 edge”#and also Leif hating being on earth and in certain parts of California hits so close to home-#the side affects of no longer being Cali sober#Leif gets a brick of hash#as a treat#Gloria Juana Belén Gutiérrez de Mendoza

Is there anything good about Trail of Magneto. It seems pretty decisive in the Wanda fandom.
Trial of Magneto had the bones of a decent story that could have led to a satisfying, if long overdue, resolution to the Decimation. I think it needed to be written by someone who had more knowledge of, and investment in the characters, and I think that the structure and pacing of the story really suffer from both editorial weirdness and Leah William's numerous technical shortcomings as an author. The timeline of events is not coherent, a lot of the characterization feels arbitrary and weird, and the series ends with implications that left a bad taste in my mouth. Williams takes several big swings with Wanda's lore and powers, but most of them feel under-realized to me. Overall, it's just not an enjoyable read, even with Werneck's artwork carrying most of the high-impact scenes-- although, to be honest, it's not his best work, either.
Seventeen years after the Decimation and two years into Krakoa, something needed to give. In hindsight, it's clear that this event, along with Darkhold, was intended to resolve the storylines that were holding Wanda back so that her solo series could start with a clean slate. That's all well and good, but the amount of vitriol that was generated towards Wanda within X-Men comics and among X-Men fans throughout the Krakoan era was exhausting, and Trial fails to actually resolve it in a way that feels organic.
Here's what works, or at least, what makes sense to me--
Magneto reaching out to Wanda to salvage their relationship and informing her about resurrection and how it's being used to treat Decimation victims; Magneto going behind the Council's backs and making personal sacrifices to help her.
Wanda staging a stunt to fix some of the glaring issues with resurrection, and Hope being the one to help her do it.
Wanda having to overcome some kind of magical trial to pull herself together after death and cross back into life.
The general concept of the Waiting Room as something Wanda could theoretically build, especially post-Darkhold; the creative use of chaos magic to expand Cerebro and the resurrection system's capabilities.
Here are some things that really don't work, in my mind--
Wanda and Max framing Toad for murder and condemning him to the Pit. It is a morally reprehensible course of action that is counter to the good will Wanda is trying to achieve.
The "eldritch orchard" felt like an unnecessary addition that hasn't meshed well with any of Wanda's other lore, before or after Trial. To me, it reads as an overly-flowery distraction in what is already a cramped miniseries. Wanda could have created the Waiting Room and anchored it to Krakoa without an additional realm or dimension being included.
The "kaiju" were thoughtlessly named and thoughtlessly designed. It makes sense that distortions would occur, since Wanda has become fractured while attempting to bend time, space, and reality. I just think that a group of so-called "kaiju" was a lazy and disconnected way to represent that distortion.
Billy, Tommy, Pietro, and-- to a slightly lesser degree-- Magneto vanish and reappear at random throughout the story and their emotional responses make no sense.

Scathing opinion on the Snow White teaser please (also, people yet again infantilising R@chel and acting like she's just a toddler being unfairly bullied by everyone for her dumb comments)
Oof I really can't get involved with anything even remotely touching Rachel's fandom/community. They literally claim Rachel never said things she was documented and recorded as saying multiple times lol that's another level. They're the type of people that change their points/the topic of the discussion whenever they're proven wrong and that's maddening. I'll say the most obvious, objective truth that it's pretty clear Rachel has a disdain for Snow White and the story and that there should've been more protections in place to guard this landmark of film from the people that signed on for the remake (the original director's SON has spoken out and said Walt and his dad would be rolling around in their grave; also I've never seen Gal finish a sentence with ease so I don't know how she's going to do justice to Lucille La Verne's chilling interpretation that still holds its own decades later in the Patheon of great film villains).
If anything, I think a documentary on Snow White would've been better than whatever this is. We got girlboss!Snow White twice in 2012 alone, so I don't know why Rachel thought she was reinventing the wheel with lazy takes that have been spoon-fed to her (someone's own authentic interpretation or opinion on a female character would be great!!!) and the lack of understanding and love for the source material is evident in every interview we've seen and now this trailer we saw that has the production value of a Danimals Yogurt commercial from 2004. She still doesn't even seem to get it lol at d23 they asked her about this film and she just generally said it's a dream of anyone to play a Disney Princess, but didn't say anything about *Snow White*- even after her announcer (who was more excited than Rachel) called out that Snow White was the original Princess (also this statement kinda drips with the vacuousness that Rachel does; how is it a dream for her to be a princess "even for a day" when she's already portrayed Fiona, Belle, and Ariel??? This is her fourth Princess lol and she portrayed each of them for more than a "day" lol).
Anytime anyone who is actually passionate about SWATSD tries to say anything, we're told that no one liked Snow White in the first place and Rachel is doing us a huge favor by taking on this role and we're feigning our SW support, despite the fact that there's been Snow White historians and museums and fan communities for close to a century. We're constantly told to shut up while everyone cries about how special Rachel is in a movie that hasn't even come out yet and, judging from the trailers, looks like AI text to speech leaping forth with a dress that's giving paint by numbers. Rachel definitely has photogenic features, but I don't know someone who can earnestly say what they did to her, design wise, is pleasing in any way- they made her look like a preschooler's interpretation of Pinocchio in drag. She also has talent and vocal ability but her tact is not there for me and she just really is not the right choice to play Snow White (and also we already had a live Snow White!! I'll die on the hill that Adriana Caselotti will always be the only Snow White, just like Ilene Woods is Cinderella, Mary Costa is Aurora...Ariel is trickier because I think it's more Howard Ashman than Jodi lol but she'll only ever be those two etc). Snow White is the heart and soul of Disney, what started this entire empire, and I think, from everyone we saw in the trailer, it's proving to be the inverse and is the death of Disney in many ways.
#ask#anonymous#now if you dm me it's a different story lol but this is the most i'll say in public#1) all my points get stolen lol#2) the people that argue with it are...#also for as heinous as rachel is i still think lily was the worst lol

3/? Luo Binghe is SO NORMAL about Shen Yuan
1, 2, 3 (here), 4
Read up through even numbered parts on Ao3
Thanks to his System quest countdown, Luo Binghe knew to follow Shen Yuan to the Lingxi caves to retrieve Shen Jiu. In IRS, the blood relationship between the two was left ambiguous. Their Shizun had claimed that as twins they could co-rule Qing Jing Peak as Shen Qingchun and Shen Qingqiu, but the swapping POV meant Luo Binghe knew both men were certain their resemblance and shared family name were coincidences.
Their POVs never offered evidence for those claims, finding the idea preposterous and the 'truth' self-evident in yet another lazy diversion from either writing or explaining things. Luo Binghe honestly wasn't sure the author, Snowballing, had even made a concrete decision about it.
The justification their shizun made to the then-sect leader had been that since Xiu Ya had split itself between the two of them, they clearly had a connection worthy of being dual peak lords. Of course, the shippers called them soulmates for that.
It was uncomfortable to keep his expression politely curious as Luo Binghe followed after the elegant line of Shen Yuan. Ning Yingying chattered away at his side and received a head pat — a head pat! — for her enthusiasm. For his part, Ming Fan was desperately trying to get Shen Yuan to answer questions about the budget. Likely, he wanted everything done before Shen Jiu could ax everything he deemed unnecessary.
Luo Binghe tuned out the reunion between the peak lords. Shen Jiu was a little bitch, snarly and overprotective, but otherwise harmless. Despite being in the most chapters after the protagonist, Shen Jiu didn't get so much as an accidental kiss or nipslip for his trouble. Snowball really wanted to play at Schrodinger's incest. Shen Jiu was definitely interested, but didn't get any sugar to ensure those who'd be turned off kept tuning in and paying.
Actually, the last bit was a little up in the air. Luo Binghe's weird cousin was corporate espionage stroke an actual criminal and he hadn't been able to find Snowball's real identity or address. Look, Luo Binghe just wanted to ask him some questions, okay? But his cousin had come to the conclusion that Snowball was either also quite rich or lived in a series of actual gutters.
Luo Binghe followed dutifully as screams attracted Shen Yuan's attention, but didn't stop thinking.
Wealth would explain why even offers of generous payments to modify the story never hit, but Snowball was notorious for neither responding to nor even reading messages. The story was locked by the platform multiple times due to some failure to respond to their admin on his part.
It wasn't as if artists could afford to have actual integrity in the capitalist economy. A monthly payment of less than he spent on boba kept several artists from lewding Shen Yuan with any of his worthless suitors. They could still lewd him, of course, but he had to be alone, with Xiu Ya or with the sword Luo Binghe had designed for himself. It was a beautiful thing called Zheng Yang whose sun imagery went great with the 'spring' of Shen Yuan's courtesy name.
Honestly, it was pretty ridiculous that no one he commissioned realized the sword was his. Instead, there were fights over which love interest Luo Binghe supposedly supported since apparently none of the girls believed him shameless enough to ship Shen Yuan with himself. Which was the height of folly. He said in the comments, explicitly, that Shen Yuan was his and his alone.
"We know Shen Qingchun is held in high esteem by both cultivators and demons," Sha Hualing spouted, interrupting Luo Binghe's thoughts.
Truly, any mention of his beloved would immediately snatch his attention.
She continued, "So this Hualing suggests that he judge the fairness of the matches."
Shen Yuan snapped open his fan and visibly considered the idea. From IRS, Luo Binghe knew that he was quickly counting the demons and evaluating their strength. His final estimation was that he and Shen Jiu would be able to send the demons packing, but that the casualties among the disciples would be too high with only two of them.
"Very well," Shen Yuan said. He stepped away from Shen Jiu and toward the demons. He held his fan at arm's length and everyone, human and demon both, took several steps back. He spun in an elegant circle, his robes swirling around him even as an array appeared underneath his feet.
Shen Yuan smiled, not even looking at his work before he moved to stand on the edge of the arena he'd created. With a snap of his fan, he addressed the crowd. "Matches will be to forfeit or when I signal the defeat is complete. As we are exchanging pointers, there's no need for anyone to lose their life." His eyes flashed in challenge; Sha Hualing made him mediate so he wouldn't compete so she would have to deal with his rules.
Luo Binghe had never been so hard in his entire life. He felt light-headed. All of the cultivation studies he'd crammed in anticipation of this day fled his mind in an instant. He was literally panting.
Luo Binghe allowed himself the duration of Shen Qingqiu's match to drool. When his nominal master won, he clenched all of the muscles in both thighs to redirect blood flow to areas that might actually let him win his match. If Sha Hualing wasn't sent running Luo Binghe was in for a bad time.
Liu Mingyan fought the Saintess personally. Her intent was to show her Shen-shibo that he would be marrying into a strong family that could protect him and his interests, but like her brother, she failed miserably at proving anything. Though, Luo Binghe supposed, she was gracious in defeat, which wasn't worthless. It would be a good trait for when Luo Binghe finally had his wife and dashed all hope of her becoming a sister-in-law to his beloved.
When Shen Jiu announced Luo Baixiao would fight Elder Sky Hammer, everyone not from Qing Jing yelled in surprised protest. However, it was an open secret that Shen Jiu despised their youngest disciple. Why? Ask Snowball, but don't hold your breath. He needed the young demon to have a grudge, fuck you, that's why.
In IRS, the fight was a painful beatdown. Luo Baixiao hadn't been particularly filial, so the crowd didn't understand why he wouldn't concede. But the chapter was a rare Shen Yuan POV, so he knew his beloved was frozen with indecision, hidden behind his benign solemnity, which explained why he didn't call the match early.
After the reveal of Luo Baixiao's demonic heritage there had been speculation that he won his match due to channeling some of his demonic energy. Well, if the original goods did, it wasn't an option for Luo Binghe, whose demonic abilities were currently locked behind a system wall. In his corner, however, Luo Binghe had anime.
Though he took a beating memorizing Elder Sky Hammer's attack patterns, Luo Binghe finally had a long enough window to launch a direct qi attack somewhere between a rasengan and kamehameha. Elder Sky Hammer fell with a crash, the poison on his armor completely unused.
Luo Binghe shot his largest, purest smile at Shen Yuan in victory.
[OOC! 7 S-pointed deducted! Only 14 S-points remain.]
"Are you kidding me? I won! I completed the mission!"
[Tutorial quest "I'll Be Your Saint Sebastian" incomplete. Objective: Cause Sha Hualing to flee from Cang Qiong Mountain.]
"Fuck you!"
Luo Binghe had been too busy arguing with the System and almost missed one of the best moments in the universe. Elder Sky Hammer had flung himself across the arena to kill the opponent that bested him, only for Shen Yuan to dash forward and swat him back into the flagstones like a particularly annoying fly.
"My disciple isn't for you to bully."
Shen Yuan's delicate, elegant, pale hand hefted the demon's hammer as if it weighed nothing. Then, Luo Binghe's dearest heart casually tossed the massive weapon to crash at the feet of the assembled demons.
Again, Luo Binghe was instantly hard, but he couldn't allow it to distract him. This was one of the most pivotal moments in all of IRS. Elder Sky Hammer would attack a second time and inflict Shen Yuan with Without-a-Cure, a poison that would cripple his cultivation and inevitably force several instances of dual cultivation to remove the stagnation in his spiritual veins. Luo Binghe couldn't allow it.
Adrenaline replaced blood in his veins as Luo Binghe scanned his immediate surroundings. With his demon heritage, he wouldn't die to Without-a-Cure and shouldn't even suffer permanent cultivation damage, but surviving meant nothing if he couldn't kill Elder Sky Hammer before Shen Yuan was poisoned.
An An Ding disciple to his right had a sharp spade in his hand and grout all over his robes. Good enough. Luo Binghe lunged and snatched the spade before pivoting. Everything seemed to go in slow motion. Elder Sky Hammer had lifted himself onto his hands and knees and was bracing to pounce. Luo Binghe couldn't afford to wait or hesitate and moved before the giant demon did.
As a result of his preemption, Luo Binghe reached Elder Sky Hammer in the moment he left the ground. With a bare-toothed snarl, Luo Binghe struck the spade up through the demon's neck, the poison spikes on his opponent's gorget scratching his forearm through his sleeve.
Together, Luo Binghe and Elder Sky Hammer crashed onto the flagstones. The poison made quick work slithering through his bloodstream. Luo Binghe's vision turned blurry and rainbow-tinted.
"Disciple Luo!" yelled his precious, unharmed beloved.
He passed out.

I like to sit in the "children's horror games" fandoms and headcanon stuff about little-known characters there. I've been following the game since the first chapter, but I only got really involved in story since Chapter 3. My favourite is Leith Pierre (and my design of him), Doctor, Yarnaby and Kissy Missy.
Got here only in February but already in love with this game. All characters are fucking amazing and cool. But i think my heart especially belongs to Ferryman and Minos!
MY WORLD OF WARCRAFT SIDEBLOG <-
WoW has been my obsession for several years now, and now I'm not so interested in the new expansions, but I just love the old Warcraft before SL. Alliance? Horde? WHO NEEDS THEM WHEN THERE ARE THE FORSAKEN! I love them. And basically all the undead. Of the characters, I really love Jaina and Vanessa Vancleef. And also i'm biggest Sylvanas/Nathanos apologist. My favourite fucked up couple.
I love this crazy fandom. There is no one particular mercenary that o like, they are all cool and deserve love. Favorite ships: Bloody Suite, Boots & Bombs, and Science Party. By the way, I hate speedingbullet, please don't touch me with speedingbullet. I draw a lot SniperSpy, everything can be found under tags here on the blog!! I also used to play a lot tf2 sice summer 2023. Now I main Scout and Sniper.
I LOVE MARIA SILENT HILL TWO I LIVE FOR HER I CRY OVER HER CHARACTER and I think her character is very underrated! Otherwise, I also really love Heather (I cosplayed her!), Lisa and Walter. I'm a fan of the "classics" of all 4 silent hill games. This rusty, old, tense, frightening, depressing, meaty horror is just what I've always been missing.
MY LAMBDAGENERATION PROFILE <-
It’s worth saying briefly - I adore the entire universe of half-life and the portal. These are great games, I love everything about them. They changed me and my perception of video games a lot. My favorites of the series are Adrian Shepard and Alix. I'm a fan of HEKU in general, they're funny guys. Probably the only military characters in video games that don't make me uncomfortable.
other fandoms that i was to lazy to make banner for, or they are smaller: OUTLAST, Garten of BanBan, Gloomwood, Faith:The unholy trinity.
these banners are made by me, and yeah they are fre to use(ijust pls credit me if you do)

Okay as Jeanne's fan, I was actually very excited to see Konoe's return to design her. And I did say I would take whatever I can get, and I do it. But I still have a few things to say lol. Let me start with this: I really thought the 3rd ascension should be 2nd instead.
[Below contains slight spoiler for Ordeal Call IV but mostly just talks about the overall designs with my own personal preference and miniscule amount of the new lore knowledge]

General:
The only Metatron (in fiction) I know is the one from Supernatural, and he is a sleazy nerd (who is still dangerous) iirc so I wasn't exactly surprised, more like amused, that Metatron Jeanne behaves like a lazy hikikomori (who is still dangerous). But it's two different fiction that I don't think will influence one another so I wonder if there is some information about Metatron makes fiction writers write him like that. (Or maybe her writer(s) actually watches SPN lmao who knows.)
Not sure why Metatron Jeanne looks younger than the regular Jeanne, when the Jeanne that's shown frozen in the trailer is the regular one. Has it been explained why?
First ascension:
FINALLY, a braided twintailed Jeanne!!! (who is not Jeanne Alter)
I love the suit so much, the tiny ribbon, the small remnant of Jeanne's original armor, the light crown, the small wings.
It is such a HUGE SHAME that that throne disappears in 3rd ascension. It's a damn good badass throne!! (And also nice touch since Throne is a type of angel too)
No complain whatsoever. For a 1st ascension, it's grandiose. 10/10.
Second ascension:
Is it just me or is she even younger than the 1st ascension?
I literally have no issue with her V-tuber/streamer design itself. It's so fucking cute and detailed. The holy light from the throne even changes into RGB mode. What I have issues is that I really don't get why it's necesssary to make it as her ascension in the first place.
I can somewhat understand if she is a streamer (or watcher, as a Scribe of God or something, idk I knew that from SPN). But it's quite too mundane of a design for an, you know, angel of God, in a setting where the environment is definitely not mundane.
I can let it slide with Phantasmoon, she is not portrayed for a major serious role in a serious chapter. But for Metatron Jeanne, it's just really out of place and quite changing the vibe by a by a landslide.
Although someone suspected (https://x.com/nabixx11/status/1917670583560810873/photo/2) that Streamer Phantasmoon in her event once crosses paths with Metatron Jeanne during one of the streaming sessions before...
The point is I still don't get the streamer design being her ascension. UNLESS, there is a connection to Phantasmoon, who is a True Ancestor and can become a connection to save a certain person (https://x.com/carlikun/status/1917554544969670836).....
Well even then, I think whatever explanation I get will not make me think it's a great idea to make her 2nd ascension a streamer. That's just how much I don't click with the idea lmao. I quite make this a personal issue, don't I?
Third Ascension:
Idk about anyone else, but I've always been so excited to find out what a servant's design's 3rd ascension looks like. It's a hype in itself for me.
So I'm bummed that they've actually shown the 3rd ascension in the teaser/trailer.
You know, for a servant fused/possessed/whatever it is with an angel —Not Angel as in Nasuverse's alien being, but as in angel from Abrahamic religions— I was hoping for a more extravagant look. I'm not saying that the 3rd isn't extravagant, but if you say an angel of god, I imagine something like her Noble Phantasm form instead. And if using the "3rd ascension is (usually) the strongest form" standard, I think it's in line with that.
Maybe as the trial judge, she really does have to show up at her best... But still....
But anyway, similar to 2nd ascension, I actually have no complain in the design by itself too. I love the the new light crown design so much, it's reminiscent of Jeanne's own. I love the frills and sparkly celestial-looking part in the back of her dress. I love the double pair of wings. I also love the loose hair.
The only problems are a) where is her throne, b) the fire has less aura than that throne and c) this would really work better as a 2nd ascension.
By the way, she looks like a magical girl, imo. The kind that ascends into deity or becomes a concept.
Final ascension:
It's a bit of a downer that it's back to 1st ascension but at least it's fresh since the coats, armors and accessories are off.
I love that it's upside down. It gives this certain playful and coquettish sense. The macarons also help with the vibe.
I've always been looking forward for the Laeticia's uniform from Fate/Apocrypha as a costume. I feel like this outfit is a direct shout out to that. Which is really cute in itself. (But I still want this uniform for og Jeanne tho)
Honestly, when I knew that she's designed by Konoe, I was really excited, but somewhat wary too. For me, Konoe's designs are more often than not amazing by themselves. But the ascension flow can be hit or miss for me. By miss, I mean it becomes kinda anticlimatic. I still remember the disappointment I got from Semiramis' 3rd ascension. While imo his best work, both in terms of design and ascension flow, is Kriemhild.
Anyway, I heard that this Metatron Jeanne has the 'sin of sloth' embedded on her saint graph. Assuming that Ordeal Call will still continue, what if that sin of sloth actually impacts her appearance in the ascensions so in the future and when it disappears from her saint graph, her ascensions will be updated? I don't know but I sure hope so (and I hope it'd be a very nice surprise lol). Oh but I also would be so welcoming if there is an update with a more "biblically-accurate angel" approach.
Aight thats enough desperate mad rambling, I do this everytime new OG Jeanne servants appear lmao (which is not much since the swimsuit version...)

hello, i have been summoned to spam you with mgs questions, in one ask bc i'm lazy.
what are your favourite animal/fish codenames? could be from the games or made up. on the unlikely occasion if you have none, it's time to choose one
what fishes would remarkable mgs characters be?
who would win in a fistfight: sokolov from mgs3 or armstech director from mgs?
what you imagine are sniper wolf's favourite substances to overindulge in? there's anti tremor meds and anti freezing nanomachines for sure
thoughts on mgsv birthday cutscene cake? do you have thoughts or headcanons on what type of cake is it, how does it taste, any special properties (like extra high in sugar or protein for nutrition, or diet cake for health reasons etc)?
could you draw a handfish-inspired metal gear design? it's a shame metal gear ray didn't look like handfish. imagine a bipedal fish shaped machine emerging from the water - huge opportunity wasted
let's imagine notable r&d characters (strangelove, huey, otacon, sigint, sokolov, granin etc) are developing a game. what kind of game would it be? might be a team project or different games for every character.
what is your mgs mullet tier list
Oh my god?? hi hi haii.
You don't understand how happy this makes me. it's currently so early and I haven't gone to bed at all yet as I'm starting to answer these so I'll have to proofread when I'm up but THANK YOU HELLO (<- should've gone to sleep at a normal time man. but these questions are really good.)
what are your favourite animal/fish codenames? could be from the games or made up. on the unlikely occasion if you have none, it's time to choose one
I'm afraid it's the unlikely occasion time dear anon IS WHAT I ALMOST SAID BUT. did you know. did you know that @ashenberry has a wonderful metal gear au called metal gear resurgence or mgrec for short (ask her about it please ^_^), and in there she has a background oc called Maidenless Seal. I'm a very big fan of that one!! Also there is a running joke (well, was made maybe two times) in my asks about how my favorite mgs character is Decoy Octopus.
what fishes would remarkable mgs characters be?
Oh I'll be honest I don't know that much about fish on like. substantial knowledge level besides fish awesome and cool 👍 not like I don't know ANYTHING but forgive me if these are surface-level or too simple.
Ocelot would be a spotted moray eel. First of all, spotted! Like an ocelot! Second, solitary animal! Hides and waits when it hunts. Dangerous possibly toxic bites. I think it fits well.
Quiet could be a jellyfish, one of those giant ones. I'm thinking Sea Nettle, they are really pretty and not you-will-die dangerous according to my quick search but they will still kick your ass. Jellyfish are generally kind of an unsettling creatures, not having faces and all, and I think that kind of matched the theme of Quiet being sort of a plant? I wish her not being fully human was portrayed in a more interesting way visually. sigh.
I was thinking of assigning Venom something cool and badass but honestly? Sunfish. If you take a bite out of them in the right place it will just continue drifting with a big chunk of its body missing without dying from it. It's big and gets guided by water currents without any input from the fish itself.
Otacon would be a tripod fish. No real base for that I just want you to look up tripod fish I love those things.
Sunny would be a sea slug!!! Any one of the bright cute ones hehe.
Ghost catfish or the phantom catfish for The Sorrow because I accidentally stumbled upon it just now and hey!! That's him it has to be come on.
I feel like I'm still dancing around all the other characters but that's because it feels like The Snakes™ should all be big intimidating sharks or something. Which. says who.
Big Boss would be an Arowana. He ate them raw in the audio drama if I remember that right, and hey, something something cannibalism, something something snake eater! Also they leave really long. Solidus would also be some variation of that I assume, perfect clone etc etc.
Liquid would be a lionfish. Based mostly on the fact that it's showy and venomous but also hey! I just found out moray eels aka what I assigned Ocelot prey on them sometimes! Something something Ocelot absorbing Liquids identity, you know how it is.
Solid would be Black ghost knifefish. Literally just learned about them look at how badass they're called. They are a bit electric, but peaceful despite the name.
Now, hear me out on Eva. Anglerfish. IT FITS THEMATICALLY OKAY. lures her prey in with something pretty before devouring it.
My sister @r3v0lver-0c3lot said Raiden would be a blobfish. The regular normal kind in two and then the version where they're all fucked up after they get pulled to the surface by fishermen in 4. wah.
I don't really have ideas Kaz for now feel free to suggest stuff. I'm. Thinking maybe some kind of shark?
who would win in a fistfight: sokolov from mgs3 or armstech director from mgs?
I will be honest I have a very very unreasonable attachment to Sokolov but the man can't fight for shit. I mean MAYBE he can, but he never would because of how scared he gets. It's okay I will protect him. Sokolov wins because I can NOT let anything happen to him. Ashen said she didn't like that they reveal he hasn't actually died when he comes back in Portable Ops but ashen is WRONG. I will get this man back to his family and a nice beautiful home even if I have to drag him here myself.
what you imagine are sniper wolf's favourite substances to overindulge in? there's anti tremor meds and anti freezing nanomachines for sure
You ask such interesting questions. This is going to be convoluted BUT. bear with me. Idk if you know what bungou stray dogs is but there is this group of elite soldiers in it who are medically modified to have extreme strength and other heightened physical mobilities, except they have to undergo a surgery every month or they die from horrible pain as a consequence of it. what am I telling this for. Yeah the whole Liquid crew makes me think of them for some reason, as in I think <- literally just thought of it okay - that since they have all that superpower stuff going on there must be a very painful downside to it. So probably pain meds/drugs for the sake of pain reduction. And fun.
thoughts on mgsv birthday cutscene cake? do you have thoughts or headcanons on what type of cake is it, how does it taste, any special properties (like extra high in sugar or protein for nutrition, or diet cake for health reasons etc)?
ITS SILLY IN THE BEST WAY. first of all as a baking enthusiast where did they get the equipment to make it so neat. They would not have all that there stop lying to me. I looovee that Kojima keeps putting birthday cutscenes in his game (re: death stranding), it's such a fun way to intersect with the player and make the experience more immersive. As for the taste, no idea. What DO they have on a military base in the missile of the ocean? How did they manage to make the dd logo on it?? Why the fuck are there only four candles?? My beautiful fucked up copy of big boss who is four years old. Could've put nine there it would've been so funny. Anyway plain vanilla with maybe apricot jam? Ate some pie with it recently sorry for projecting. Any variety of jam, they might have some of that there, easy to store and all. I don't think it would have any special qualities, they already fed Venom super t, hes had enough.
could you draw a handfish-inspired metal gear design? it's a shame metal gear ray didn't look like handfish. imagine a bipedal fish shaped machine emerging from the water - huge opportunity wasted
First of all oh my god. Thank you for introducing me to this beautiful creature. I have never drawn any tech in my life but as we all know it doesn't have to make sense to be cool. Here are my beautiful blueprints.
I don't think it actually swims. As a tradition, despite being shaped like a fish, it roars though.
let's imagine notable r&d characters (strangelove, huey, otacon, sigint, sokolov, granin etc) are developing a game. what kind of game would it be? might be a team project or different games for every character.
This is certainly a question hm. Otacon would just develop a magical girl gacha or something if he were left to his own devices IS WHAT I WANTED TO SAY but then I considered it for two seconds, and honestly, I think his interest in anime and his whole identity are reduced to a silly gag far too often. I think he'd make something big and thought-provoking about saving the world that yes would also have mechas but come on. He is an adult coding genius with heavy war trauma. Survivors guilt. A victim of abuse who has been told it's his fault for so long. Maybe he would be able to project things about himself he can't even face yet there. He would put genuine effort into creating a thing that he loves. He'd care about it so so much. He would be able to make something so good. Similar in tone and style to mgs2 perhaps.
I feel like Huey and Strangelove would collaborate on theirs. Not because they like each other, but because they have worked together before many times, and they are, unfortunately, a great team. There is a 50/50 chance it all goes to shit and somebody dies or they get a perfectly average game. It does well enough, it earns money. It doesn't really have any soul in it, has established, solid idea and mechanics that are tried by time and work well. It is just a job for them. Maybe some battle royale of some sorts. Strangelove might put some reference to The Boss in it that no one ever understands, she just does it for herself. Huey just copied his homework from Granin who made a battle royale ten years ago. I asked my sister and she said Strangelove would make an I have no mouth and I must scream adaptation where everyone she hates is getting tortured by The Boss ai pod and only she can date it.
She also said Sokolov would make a farming simulator except you're using a metal gear to run around and collect and plant stuff. I couldn't agree more.
Sigint would make a gta that would have metal gears instead of cars or a pizza cooking simulator according to her. I think he and Para-Medic would make something like surgeon simulator where you can get the organs out of your patients and fail and kill them badly.
what is your mgs mullet tier list
I'll be honest chief I have always been so lost on the definition of a mullet. The choice of characters was made mainly by my sister so if your and hers understanding of mullets are different sorry.
- The Boss from the start of 3 (self explanatory have you seen that woman. god.)
- Solid Snake (in mgs2 specifically. also Pliskin he is so badass and cool wow)
- Liquid (gorgeous blond hair. This franchise has so many bloods and somehow never misses)
- Raiden in 4 (he's literally so pretty there. His hair in the beginning of rising is a fucking disaster though)
- Huey (I like him sorry)
- Otacon (I like whatever he has going on with his pixelated hair in mgs1. 2 is fine and 4 is kind of meh. Like most things about 4)
- Kaz (the pw one, it's fine but a bitch to draw)
- BB in 3 (see I do like it and it's pretty much the same as Solid's but idk. Solid wears it better somehow even though they are literally clones)
#hope I didn't miss anything#this was such a fun thing to answer thank you anon#faksyan answers stuff#faksyan talks mgs

My general thoughts on every killer
If there's one thing I'm decent at, its rambling. So, here's some general thoughts on every killer. I am biased.
I might mention maps, if they're interesting. I'll try, anyway.
Trapper- I don't know his lore. He doesn't like his father's cruelty, but then he does? He tries to help the workers, and then starts tormenting them? I can't be bothered to look into it, and I don't wanna play Trapper. Speaking of, he's fine to go against, maybe- it depends on how awake I am, and which map. That one version of the woods thats in two halves is annoying.
Wraith- I actually don't know loads about Phil's story either, but I know he just couldn't catch a break. His axe is really cool, such an interesting weapon. I'm a fan of going against killers with add-ons that can really change their power (Wraith, Doctor, Myers, that about it from the top of my head), since it keeps them interesting. Despite all that, I don't really play Wraith either. And that one long Autohaven map, the one in two halves, is kinda annoying, but I think the MacMillan estate version is worse.
Hillbilly- Unlike some, I don't actually hate his cosmetics, although I very much understand why every one I go against has the basics on. I don't like calling him Max, since that was his father's name, and he wasn't the best man. Not too much something about him, but I like how on cow tree, some of the cows are still alive. Poor guy can't run a farm, it's bound to go under. Power-wise, I still don't actually know how overheat (or whatever its called) works, but I tend to underestimate him. I haven't really played him either.
Nurse- I don't fully know Sally's lore either. I must really look lazy, all these characters I've not read into. I am not the kind of person to play Nurse, she's just not my things. Going against a nurse can go any way, really- its either the easiest experience of your life, a decent fight, or instant death. I'd rather the second option, keeps things fun for everyone. I don't really like Asylum, no reason why.
Mookel (or Myers to most)- Alright, things I don't like first. Has Michael every had black hair? I don't think so, but I could be wrong. His model kinda sucks in general, but it ruins him. Very fun to play against, thanks massively to his add-ons. I'm scared of the iridescent ones- once went against both add-ons, by far the scariest game I've had. Recently had a tombstone piece and vanity mirror combo, which I'm still baffled by. Haddonfield- glad for the rework, so much more atmospheric. I occasionally play him, but I prefer ghost face's more personal stalking.
Hag- Fuck hag. I want to destroy her with a hose pipe. Why are her traps so loud? She can run two chases at once, its a nightmare, and not particularly one I enjoy. Her cosmetics suck. Swamp is awful, its so dark, and we all know how tiny it is. Side boat though, could you always wipe away her traps? I know you can destroy them with a flashlight (at least I assume you can, I don't use flashlights, they bring out an evil version of me).
Doctor- His terror radius makes my ears bleed, but in a good way. going against a doctor is fine. I kinda bigged him up earlier, but he gets boring after a bit. I love his design though, and I don't think the absolute horror that is his face has been done justice since his trailer. Cosmetics are great as well- that one with his brain exposed, and he's in a straightjacket, incredible, he looks so inhuman. Lery's is fine, depends a lot on who it is. Except for that one bit around a corner where there's obstacle blocking the obvious turn, hate that on both sides. I don't play doctor, since I can't be bothered to learn his power of his addons.
Huntress- The only cheater I've ever gone against was a huntress. Not holding that against her though, she's a fine killer. Can't really have a problem with her power, since it's just hatchets. Had a couple of cross-map throwers, and they're scary and all, but none of them actually hit. Recently had one with the oneshot add-on (iridescent head, I think) who camped hooks from a distance- somehow, she never hit anyone while unhooking. I wouldn't mind, but it was Ormond, so she has the high ground. I don't play Anna- I started my killing with deathslinger, and it was with him I discovered I'm a terrible shot. Forest is alright, no particular problems, but it grows boring after a bit.
Cannibal- Bubba meat (I have no intention of elaborating). I don't go against many, but I definitely go against barbeque a lot. Last one I went against forgot he had a chainsaw I think, he barely used it. I heard they're reworking knockout- I never had a problem with it, but then again, who uses it? Bubba's one of the few killers I don't actually have. I don't want barbeque, its a cheap perk.
Nightmare- God, I wish he was fun. I don't really know what his rework's done, because I haven't gone against him. Haven't played him either, including before the rework. His power is interesting, but then you play against him and its just miserable. I'd say Badham is a fine map, but its not, primarily because my xbox can barely handle doing anything around the main building. If I'm chasing someone, or god forbid several people, and attack, I get to play the game through a powerpoint. Not much better as survivor. Fire Up is a cool perk though.
Pig- Got called a good girl, so absolutely no complaints from me. I tend to play her just to immediately put a trap on and watch people prove themselves, but occasional serious matches remind me the ambush is actually pretty handy. I underestimate the distance on it, especially as a survivor. Gideon is fine, much better if you pretend there isn't a giant room in the middle, especially when you're in that giant room. Big holes in the floor are fundamentally funny.
Clown- I initially played clown a lot, to much success. Took a while to clock that going against clown is such a miserable experience. Haven't much played him since. I've been trying to figure out how to use his power without making it miserable for the survivors. No luck. Haven't seen anyone using pop for a while, maybe it was nerfed. Chapel is a great map, solely because of Maurice, the rest of it sucks, especially if the bit at the top of the outside stairs of the chapel has a closed door, that always catches me out. Lore-wise, since I've kinds ignored it for the past few killers, he greatly disturbs me. Obviously, links to John Wayne Gacy, and there is something about that monster that terrifies me more than others. Once, I was in an antique shop/auction house. Up in the loft (or attic, take your pick), was an old, yellowed picture of Gacy, in the clown outfit. It wasn't for sale, and I'm still a little concerned as to why it was there. Anyway, dbd.
Spirit- Don't see much of Rin nowadays. I know she was nerfed a lot. Used to instil a genuine dread in me. Now, I'm not as scared, but still a little. I play her every now and then, but I'm quite bad at tracking people down while phasing, for some reason. Still, I'm not the worst, probably. Despite not playing her loads, I have unlocked every piece of archive lore with her. If someone calls me a good girl while playing spirit, I will play her religiously. Rin really had a bit of a rough time, and there is something about her story I find particularly interesting. The family residence is fine, but I've been there too much recently.
Legion- First of all- Susie, Joey, Julie, Frank. The frenzy buff was massively needed, and makes me actually care about being stabbed. I'm also very glad they went out of their way with all the music (once again, Susie's is my favourite). I play legion (again, Susie), but mostly non-seriously. I'll generally try to see how fast I can go with frenzy, and even when I'm not trying to, I have a strong instinct to stab someone. Landing a 5th stab is soo satisfying, I'm slightly obsessed. Ormond is a pretty good map definitely prefer the original to the mine. I have a habit of wasting a minute to destroy all the walls though, same with dead dawg. Legion mural goes hard, good job Jeff.
Plague- Vommy mommy. Wow, she's tall. The menu camera is as far zoomed out for her as it is for Pyramid Head. I don't know how to play her, or particularly against her, since I so rarely meet one. Temple is a good map, for all the same reasons as the other version of the forest. I actually don't have much to say about Adiris.
Ghost Face- By far my favourite version. I know ghost face is fundamentally a bit of a joke and a poor killer, but seeing the usual inept antics being the result of absolute confidence and ability instead is brilliant. Seeing a ghost face be competent is great, I love it. I use to main him, and he's still absolutely in my top 3. I don't like grabbing whilst undetectable, same with Pig actually- I think you have a responsibility to announce yourself as both, through marking or ambushing. It's a delight to watch them panic.
Demogorgon- I don't really know how to play demo, which is a shame, because I'd quite like to. Its a pleasure to see him back, so I can not buy the cosmetics (as wonderful as the cum demogorgon is, or the mudcrab). I also haven't seen Stranger Things, feel free to hang me from the ramparts. Music is cool though. Hawkins isn't as bad as I remembered it, but I haven't been there as survivor for a while, so maybe I'm wrong. Jolt is a great perk, special shoutout to it.
Oni- Fun to play against, pretty fun to play as (not that I'm any good). Kazan is downright terrifying, and has probably killed the most people out of the roster. If he was so pissed off by the nickname, you have to wonder why he went around dressed like that. I find it hilarious that this (kind of, but not really) regular human man just punches walls to break them, as if he isn't holding a sword in his other hand. Sanctum of wrath is probably worse than the family residence, but I prefer it.
Deathslinger- My original main, despite not being any good with him. Haven't played him for a while, although the last match I had as him was just sex on the spear (that's not a bad name for it actually, alliteration, I guess). Caleb is a really angry guy with a gun and a bad leg. Dead Dawg, or Glenvale, is a map that I enjoy. I have far too much fun running around the saloon, on the tables, As I mentioned earlier, many walls to break. Back when the bottle was still a noose, I remember burning through like 6 of them, since none of us knew that map was down at the time for reworking. That's one thing the new menu has done for us- let us see messages.
Executioner- A killer I find entirely fair, and a joy to lose against, since it's probably because they were better than me. I feel like no-one uses his cages, which is a shame, since they're conceptually cool. I do have Pyramid Head, or as I call him, Pythagoras, but I'm useless with him. Midwitch is fine, I think, unless its the version with lockers covering parts of the corridors, I hate that one on both sides. I'm easily spooked by a terror radius there, since they could be upstairs or downstairs, but I actually like this- it is a school after all, and they're not the biggest of places.
Blight- I'm terrible for underestimating how much he can move when attacking at the end of a slam. I reckon if I stopped doing this, I'd be better both as and against him. Big fan of how dramatic his menu music is. I find him interesting because I can't tell how intelligent he is. He was a scientist, but he's constantly screeching and tweaking out. Yet he still experiments, and will lean on his cane when stunned, and actively chooses to pin you down in his mori. He could kill you with it, yet chooses to restrain you and make you suffer with his creation. If only I could be bothered to properly understand the wider significance of the Blight.
Twins- I mean, they're interesting. Shame about two people in existence play them. Also a shame the Deshayes are French. I've messed about a bit as them, but their not my style. Menu music is great. The two of them really couldn't catch a break, and I mean that more than with Phillip. Weapon is really cool though, I love the pulling when destroying things, including you in the mori.
Trickster- Fuck Trickster. His terror radius makes my ears bleed, and not in a good way. I don't particularly like any of his cosmetics. His weapon is unique, yet somehow boring. His two animated trailers are cool, but its a shame knowing the character doesn't live up to them. How can you design a hot man and not make him attractive?
Nemesis- I'm still amazed original nemesis is a cosmetic now. I've said to people countless times that I didn't think it would happen, that it wasn't possible, and now here we are- I've never seen it in game. I enjoy Nemesis, both as and against, and have never had any tunnelling problems. Voice line is cool. RPD is okay, although I never know what is where. Not because they changed it from the resident evil games (I haven't played them), but because I never know what side anything is on. I miss the upstairs library, although I know it was pretty broken. I never used it myself, probably because I wasn't good enough back then. Shoutout to the trailer that starts with Meg being beat up and thrown into a car, you love to see it.
Cenobite- He's on his way out now. I'm sure all 5 people who play him will be sad. I often think of a terrible game I had against one who immediately face-camped, but I shouldn't be so closed-minded. He's actually pretty gun to go against, so long as someone remembers the box. Ideally someone who isn't me.
Artist- I feel like they knew people liked how tragic spirit's story was, so they amplified it for Carmina. But looking beyond that, she's fine. I think she counts as a ranged killer, and I appreciate the strategy involved. I have artist, just haven't got around to playing her. I'll do it one day. Eyrie of Crows is an okay map, depending on the competency of the killer. It is very bright though.
Onryō- I don't entirely understand her power, but I know enough to probably not die too much. I'm fairly certain the game is canon to the book, which is brilliantly cool! Like, seriously, wow! Gameplay, I haven't seen one for ages- maybe no-one else really knows her power either. She's pretty good though, on both sides, but I feel very short as her. Probably because she is.
Dredge- Roots of dread was the point I stopped reading the lore for killers, what with it being huge. I recently did read it though- absolutely worth it. The garden is pretty good as a map, but I find the road very open. Druanee is very fun to play as, and terrifying to play against. I forget just how dark nightfall is as killer, but it is fark. Come to think of it, clue's in the name, I guess. Chase music is so intense, I like it. Shame about it absorbing Maurice though.
Mastermind- Kinda funny how his name is just Al. Still, very fun to play, on both sides as well. Also funny how he seems to move so much, just to not get anywhere- ho does a lot of running to move at a normal speed. I'm not much into tentacle porn, but still. A really fun killer.
Knight- For a while, my and friends thought a knight killer would be a good addition. Whilst he's not quite what I'd've wanted, he's not bad, I suppose. I haven't gone against him for ages, and I'm not much good with his power. The map (decimated borgo, or something, I'm not looking it up), is not my favourite. It's fine for playing on, but I don't actually like it. Gallows are cool, but dead dawg is better. House is cool, had some fun moments there. Why is one of the building just empty? It annoys me every time I'm in there.
Skull Merchant- Wow, she's boring. Like, really boring. I don't even know how to use her power, or counter it, so thank god no-one plays her anymore. I did go against one recently-ish, but survived thanks to pure silliness. All that being said though, tall woman. I was actually distracted a bit in that game- I didn't recognise the terror radius, and when she attacked I was actually a little bit shocked. Her additions to shelter woods are fine, but I don't massively like the estate in general. Yeah, not good, but, tall mommy.
Singularity- Please see my other post, I'm not regurgitating it all. I like Hux, both as and against. Can't remember the last time I went against him, but still. A chase is won or lost depending on if the survivor is slipstreamed or not. Big fan of a vault-focussed and destruction-focussed build with him, so that no lesser lifeform will ever be beyond me. Dvarka landing is so colourful, and I'm not actually very good on it as either survivor of killer. Initially, I didn't like either Hux or the map, I think because of it all being in the future, but I've grown to be quite fond of him.
Xenomorph- Went against one just today, actually. Died because I forgot it had a tail, which is embarrassing, because I play xenomorph a fair bit. Considerably more dangerous if crawling, and given how quickly you can get back to it through a little bit in the tunnels, chases become centred on the placement of turrets. I like the juggernaut xenomorph cosmetic, I forgot how cool dbd originals were. Map is fine, but not my favourite- not much else to add, really.
Good Guy- I always said to friends, when discussing what other licenses might come to dbd, that Chucky wasn't possible. I'd never have dreamed a killer would be in 3rd person. I remember an early game against him, I was solo queuing, and the other three had left. He killed me soon, and I hope he gathered what little fun he could from hunting bots (bot hunting is genuinely miserable). I went against one today as well, and it was much more fun. I'm going to assume he was nerfed since release, and now he's actually kinda fun. I enjoy playing as him as well, but there's others above him.
Unknown- I wish I knew how to play against unknown. Last two games against it, I think they felt pity. Menu makes my eyes bleed, somewhere between a good and a bad way. I haven't played it yet, but I'm contemplating. Greenville square is cool, looks amazing as well, visually better than possibly every other map. It's a real shame about the sheer number of pretty bad pallets, and the fact the map is bigger than Africa. I don't dislike it though, but getting from one end to the other can be difficult.
Lich- One of my favourite's to play as. Shadow Wizard Money Gang, and all. Feels like he can lunge so far though, I don't know what it is. I wish I could talk about the survivor side, but I've only ever gone against one, and he was half friendly, so I genuinely can't comment. I'd want artefacts that show the flight of the damned and the sphere though, for safety. Forgotten ruins absolutely baffled me the first time I went there. I was ghost face, I genuinely didn't kill anyone, I was so busy exploring. I met someone great that game, but I'm pretty certain she's dead now. Real shame. Still, back to dbd, I've since learned the map, and its not so bad. I died there earlier today, but still.
Dark Lord- My main as killer. By far my favourite music, at all times and all moments. Great mobility, particularly for Hawkins, the ruins, and greenville, simply for distance. Fire crosses many things. Very good all around. Went against one today, lived simply because I was Soma.
Houndmaster- Went against her a lot when she released, and then never again. Never really learned her power. Not a huge fan, but maybe if I knew more

Been looking through kazukibo art again (new fic has me hyped) and got a question. How'd you come up with the designs for the fan kids because I really like them. They have a nice mix of "clearly takes after their parents" but also enough of their own style to not make them feel like carbon copies. I usually avoid fan kid stuff because it does feel too much like carbon copies but yours are so well done so I'm curious.
kinda in a bad mood so I'm gonna ramble to help me feel better.
So the "Generation Xerox" trope is one that I never liked. To me, if you, I dunno, create a kid that's literally Makoto Naegi, except yas Kyoko's hair color, to me, that's lazy, and I don't want to be lazy with character design. That's also why you won't see me making characters with full on heterochromia. I've thought about, like, the Sondam daughter having partial heterochromia, like both eyes mostly blue but one eye has like a speck of gray in it.
Like why make a new character if they're going to be just like their parents with no change?
I also like playing around with combinations and how genetics could play into it. Though I don't strictly play by the rules of genetics. if I did, Hotaru would have black hair. And let's face it. Genetics are odd.
But then what about someone like Hikari? She has a lot of traits that look like Kyoko. I've even said as she gets older, she looks even more like Kyoko. How do I do it? Well for one I don't put a braid in her hair and call it done. Hikari's design comes from her personality. She's friendly, bubbly, and optimistic like Makoto. So I put in those details in a subtle manner through clothing, but also I make sure to draw her smile just like I draw Makoto's.
Some characters have also gone through multiple changes. Kazuki looked more like Makoto, Hikari changed like 4 times, Natsumi was a lot more boring on the design side of things. But this was when I wasn't really planning on doing anything with Kazukibou...it didn't even have that name yet. I just called it Next Gen.
But once I had their personalities figured out, it made designing easier. Natsumi being a loud in your face type helped shape the idea of the pink in her hair. Her outfit goes off the idea that she dresses nice like her father, but isn't all business like he is.
Hotaru is a tomboy who likes tinkering with stuff and low self-esteem. So play into that with baggy jeans and Kazuichi's old hat so she hides her face (in reality it's a comfort item).
Yes, Kazuki is a detective, but also leans more into being a teenager, so he's not going to wear his detective garb all the time. Okay fun fact, his vest was taken from a vest I have in real life. Only difference is his is blue and mine is gray. His old design felt plain so I wanted to add more colors.
And it's really trial and error and not being afraid to change something even if you already have a concept set in stone. People change their hair style all the time. People wear different outfits for different phases of life. Some people get glasses, some get contacts, and some even get Lasik.
It's also throwing stuff at a wall and seeing what sticks. Sometimes I look at pictures online and think "I like this and I want to use that in my work in my own way." Most of the time I don't know what I'm doing and sometimes I add things because I just like it.
For example, eventually as the new Naefiri baby grows up, he's gonna have glasses because I just want him to wear glasses.
But I dunno if any of this makes sense. I guess tldr I just want to put more effort into what I do.

About Vivsiepop's Beelzabub
Lots of drama over Bee's design. My Thoughts:
Beelzabub's design isn't forein. She's a canine character, like the Hellhounds she rules over. She wears knicked tanktop and shorts- Just like Loona and Tex's everyday clothes. She even talks like Loona, which is the best way I can describe at the moment is City-youth culture.
About her colors-- the pink and blue aren't her true colors, those are for the "Cotton Candy" song she sings-- she's wearing cotton candy colors. When bathed in yellow. and when transformed, her clothes turn red and black, her glowy hair turns completely gold. Even her little tuft turns gold.
This Matches with the general colorscheme of the other hellhounds except for the Yellow/gold.
So her design matches other characters.
As for Bee's bug theme:
She's got six, thin, long limbs. Fly wings you can hear flapping around, antenae lashes and ears, and stripes. Which is all a call to the bug theme of Biblical Beelzabub, who may not have been specifically seen as a bee, but at least was a flying bug. Even so, there's no rule saying you HAVE adhere to previous depictions of an entity in a fictional work. You don't, and shouldn't have to know anything about the bible to track who a given character is. Biblical lore can help predict what a character's about, but the show's own writing is what makes and defines the character in that show (Something I get to later).
When it comes to character design basics, Bee's still pretty in-lane, being introduced with an easy-to-recognize silhouette.
When it comes to animation practicality, Bee's base design (clothes, patterns) doesn't seem much harder to animate than these guys.
Even then, Bee's animation is very high quality in this episode, like the animation in the "Truth Seekers" episode or some parts of "The Harvest Moon Festival". They were adding extra details to the animation for fun, not because her design required it. The Honey was globbier than it needed to be, her body movements more fluid and detailed than they needed to be. It was for fun.
They could have definitely animated Bee's honeymane simpler than this, if it were that much of a strain on the animators, and still retained the same design. Plus, there are shortcuts to pulling this off, like animating the basic outline first and having another layer behind it that doesn't follow the outline, but instead is cropped by it. They do this with Stolas' sparkly cape in "Ozzie's".
(Obv, Bee's honey was more hands on, but you can see a similar method used if you watch how the globules move.) They can also animate the lava effect by itself and drag that animation to stay inside the outline, which they seem to do for the lava belly.
Even then. The whole point of this episode was to celebrate the show's success and progress. They did all this out of joy and to have fun. The only thing I'd say could have been concretely "better" only really applies if you approach this as a serious, plot-significant episode (Which it isn't), and that's the writing of the Bee's introduction scene (which was a song that was more to celebrate the show and Spotlight Kesha than providing important context on the characters/setting/themes.)
Other than that, most of the criticism about Bee's design is preference (subjective), expectation (subjective), or an overreaction to furries (Ironically plenty of fans of this show apparently find furries disgusting or lame and saw Bee's design and went "A canine Sin? The Furries are taking over!") (Subjective).
Acting like this is Viv being lazy, uninspired, or unreasonable, is just-- unfair, and unwarranted negativity. People are really acting like this is their work, and not Viv's. Viv didn't do anything technically wrong with Bee's design. It's one thing to not dig it (I personally still haven't warmed up to Ozzy's, and prolly never will, but I warmed up to Bee's a lot faster- especially after seeing her personality) it's another to try to shit on the creator or act like their designs are "wrong" because of expectations or personal taste, ESPECIALLY for an episode that isn't plot relevant and was made to celebrate real-world things like Viv's success in producing her own show and being able to work with Kesha.
Chill the fuck out, and kudo's to the team.
End thoughts.

hihi<3 could I request callie and raihan x
Streamer s/o? s/o wants to be the best streamer ever and really likes wearing cute stuff for their streams :3?
˚ ༘♡ ⋆。˚
hi hi anon! i dont write for Callie but i can give it a try! also i love this prompt so much oh my gosh- thank you for the request! have a nice day anon! <3
𝐂𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐞
-Callie tends to use her status as a pop star and former Inkopolis air host as a way to promote your streams! whenever shes in an interview and they ask her what she likes to do in her free time she replies with, "I enjoy watching my partner, Y/Ns streams! theyre really entertaining and fun!" in general she always finds a way to mention your stream.
-and because of Callie youve grown a lot as a streamer, you used to go live for about 50 people a day. which you didnt mind because the community was wonderful. but now thanks to her, youre averaging way more! thanks to her youre community has grown a lot! so many nice people who are fans of Callie join your lives and say so many nice things! youve grown quite a big online family.
-and Callie makes sure to call out the people who say negative things in your lives and reassures that youre the best. she lurks in chat while you steam and whenever she sees a mean comment flow by she calls them out for it. she says, "If youre mean to Y/N, then youre no fan of mine"
-since you enjoy wearing cute stuff in your streams Callie loves to choose out cute outfits for you to wear! and if its a lazy stream were youre just chatting shell pick out a cute cozy onesie for you! she might even make you a cute outfit herself or have one of her designers to make one for you, as a somewhat signature outfit for your streams.
-sometimes Callie will even join you while your streaming, and when she does shell match whatever cute outfit your wearing that stream. this leads you guys into doing a fashion show for youre viewers. youll go find cute outfits and ask chat for their opinions.
-(the two of you would play those cute little dress up/fashion games. and definitely those "Papa's Freezaria/Pizzaria/etc" games)
˚ ༘♡ ⋆。˚
𝐑𝐚𝐢𝐡𝐚𝐧
-much like Callie, he also uses his reputation to promote your streams! whenever hes in interviews hell do the same thing as Callie and find a way to mention your streams! he'll even post about you from time to time.
-he'll buy you cute clothing and cute pokemon onesies for you to wear on stream! he'll have you pose with him and take a picture of and post it online with the caption of; "My partner is live right now! go check them out!" and you automatically get a lot of nice people and comments on your streams!
-he'll happily play games with you on stream. but it will take a lot of convincing for him to put on a Pokemon onesie and sit down with you as you chat with the viewers, he of course gives in because he cant say no to you forever. soon he fully embraces it and takes a photo of the two of you in matching Pokemon onesie and posts it. and sometimes the two of you dress up your own Pokemon in cute things and have them join in on the stream! the viewers really enjoy that.
-he defiantly supports your goal of being one of the best streamers. hes always there to take care of you when youre in need while streamin, need water? hes on it. youre humgry? he makes you a 5 course meal so you could enjoy, he doesnt mind you watibg or drinking on stream but sometimes he makes you take a break so you could actually enjoy yourself and not strain yourself. he makes sure streaming doesnt stress you out and that its something that you should enjoy and not feel like a chore.
-as i said before, he loves to play games with you while streaming. thet two of you would be playing a horror game and people would expect you to be the one screaming and holding onto Raihan, but its actually the opposite. hes screaming at the horrific visuals holding onto you as you concentrate(youre carrying the whole game, he died and just let you go on without him), trying to beat the game so you guys could play a happy two player game.
-(i also feel like he would be absolutely terrified of those Roblox horror games 💀)
i hope you enjoyed this! i had so much fun writing this! (oh also i didnt realize you didnt specify if you wanted a story, headcannons, etc. so i did headcannons by default. next time please specify if you want something specific! /not mad)

Team RWBY Project / RWBY: Ice Queendom
Team RWBY and Team JNPR designs, source in the link
Rapid fire thoughts under the read more:
Ruby: Really cute and cozy looking, looks ready for a day on the slopes, especially in the merch promo art with the Crescent Rose/snowboard thing. I actually like the decision to do something different than the same design we keep getting over and over again of the V1 (not that it’s a bad design or they’re bad, I’m just enjoying a shake-up for this spin off).
Weiss: Military intensifies. I’d like to see it without the massive coat, and with this being one of the two outfits that feel completely out of character for her and the title suggesting a Weiss focus, I’m curious where this is going.
Blake: Why the paw gloves? Why the tail??? I like the idea of the rest of the outfit, the general shape of it, but I’m mainly distracted by her “blacks” actually being purple, just like her V7 design, and the purple dye job. Also not a fan of the cat suit instead of layered clothing. The silhouette is good, just the actual colors and clothing that went into it feel wrong. To be fair, though, I like it more when flipping between it and her og outfit on the site. I definitely recommend looking at the actual site for the Beacon era art.
Yang: I like it a lot! A lot more than her Mistral and Atlas outfits, that’s for sure. Honestly, it’s pretty cute, and I love her hair. I just wish that they’d gone with more yellows on her top instead of all the brown. If they’d done her jacket just a little differently with a yellow shirt and maybe some yellow detailing, I think it would probably be my second favorite Yang outfit.
Jaune: I am laughing so hard, they literally just slapped mittens and a hat and scarf on him and called it a day, that’s hilarious, I love it
Nora: This is actually really cute! I wish they’d kept the more navy blue from her Mistral design and maybe toned down the blue since it’s a little overwhelming, but I get that they took it from the blue on her Beacon design, and otherwise, it’s good! Canon Atlas outfit.
Pyrrha: This is just Weiss’ performing dress in maroon. Why?? This doesn’t look anything like a combat outfit for Pyrrha, it looks like a prom outfit. I’m hoping this means that Pyrrha’s gonna have something to do with the AU seeing as she’s not dead, but I’m more sad that we don’t get an updated combat outfit.
Ren: They’ve massacred my boy with laziness. What is this? Why? This is just a longer version of his V1 outfit with furry shoulders, why? It wouldn’t be quite so bad if the fur wasn’t there and the tunic was shorter, but it is, and it’s not, and I hate it. I’m sorry Ren, you peaked in V4.

🅱️loodborne creativity tips
- Don’t take for granted a word from a youtube loredigger that barely scratches the lore surface, he is probs wrong anyway. People who care usually lurk on hellsites like this one.
- Don’t feel pushed into accepting a most popular interpretation of a character, or most popular theory, or most popular ship. Try to sit and reflect and understand what you want. Trust me it’ll pay off.
- That’s me if I had a coin every time someone whitewashes Henryk:
(you get the point. check the face datas: ( x ))
- The more you neglect the ‘but it is a videogame logic’ and ‘creators maybe were lazy’ and instead use what you are given - the more interesting ideas open!
- Don’t rely on localisation team and instead always consult direct retranslation ( x ), you really don’t wanna trust people who created ‘Even the Doll, should it please you’ or made Kos (or some say Kosm) sound as though she is connected to the concept of ‘cosmos’ when that’s L + not true, or said that Emilia was Amelia or missed god knows how many nuances. HIRE FANS FDJHDSsdfsd
- There IS a timeline, Miyazaki is just a sick sadist even if he swears he is a masochist! Communication with other fans is a key.
- Don’t be scared to interpret Eileen as not black (only one of her like 5 VAs is black, nor VAs bind the character), or to interpret Maria as bi/pan/straight/aro (canon says jackshit about her orientation) or to interpret Yurie/Julie as not asian (not only her name is Julie, but also her data suggest a blonde gal) or whatever. Trust me normal fans at worst just won’t care is all. Ones side-eyeing you are aggressors that think most common interpretation = obligation and you don’t NEED approval of people like this. Just don’t insult the more accepted versions because if you call them “token diversity character!!!!! >:(” I will evict you from this plane of reality.
- Try to write your Adeline as if Maria didn’t exist. And try to write your Edgar as if Micolash was instead a stereotypical super ultra crazy 12 year old anime girl. And try to write your Henryk as if Gascoigne never knew him nor cared. TLDR; make sure characters are still interesting and written even if their popular ships are not possible.
- If you love Dark Souls a lot and want to connect the verse with Bloodborne, there are actually many incentives, not just Chester seemingly being a Hunter and ‘Deep Sea’ theme! Like go for it, the ‘well AKTUALLLLLY’ territorial redditors don’t know shit.
- If you check ‘Gehrman the first hunter’ tag know it is often lore inaccurate hate anyways and you risk just getting upset. However do post good stuff under this tag if you have something good to say about the character. We’ll weed em out eventually lets go lore accurate fans lets go
- It is absolutely ok to have "generic” design on Laurence or Adeline or Rom or whatever! Obscure characters we never seen as humans are a hassle to draw the fanart of, so more or less popular designs just speed up communication through fanart.
- If you want extra lore, check translations of latin lyrics and/or internal filenames! Did you know Ebrietas’ lyrics both refer to Mensis ritual and have ‘fair maiden why do you cry’ in it, or that Amygdala is ‘evil god’ but One Reborn is ‘failed evil god’?
- Don’t ever do the ‘but nobody cares about this character so...’. EVER. Post that character. POST them. Post ideas about them. Talk about that character. Huge chunk of Bloodborne cast is neglected. It’s been seven years and still no coherent stuff with Henriett, Gratia, Forgotten Madman, Yahar’gul Hunters, Dores, Research Hall ladies that kick your ass before you enter it etc etc. Trust me supply creates demand. Post that obscure character. (Please post them dsfghgfds ;-;)
- Shipping Adella and Arianna is the same as shipping Alfred and Annalise. No ship-shame here but if you adore one and hate another, think about why you do. Overall avoid the biases that boil down to ‘the wrong thing is only wrong if it is hetero’.
