Listen, even celebs themselves diss CAA. A few A-listers switched agencies aka dropped CAA shortly after signing with them. For example, I know Rose McGowan seems like a crazy lady overall, but she’s IN the industry and boy does she have plenty to say about CAA... maybe we aren’t all “in the know” here but let’s not pretend like this kind of speculation is baseless. You can refuse to believe that Seb would ever get involved in such a thing, that’s fine - it’s your opinion, but it doesn’t mean that there’s no basis to these things when it comes to CAA. Just look at the summer 2020... first T Chalamet suddenly turns up in jacuzzi in Mexico with Eiza whom he’s never been connected to before, being very intimate and very publicly so, then all that racist stuff about Eiza came out... second, Seb turned up in Ibiza on a yacht with a rando Spanish actriz which is at best is very OOC for him, again the racist stuff comes to light... then a few short days later we got Evans and Lily stuff in London. I think pretty much all of us know the problematic stuff that turned up about Lily. What all three have in common though? All 3 of the men are CAA clients. Basically same case scenario. The only difference is that TC and Evans were CAA clients longer, so they noped outta that mess fairly quick but Eiza and Lily still got their press and benefits out of it. Eiza even issued an apology and that’s precisely why she doesn’t sweat now. It’s fine to believe the rs to be real, no one can force you to think something different than what you want unless you let them, but those cases are extremely curious at the very least. You cannot say that Alejandra didn’t get the biggest press attention out of this. Yep she didn’t score a role in a Spielberg movie but that got her the biggest public attention in her entire life. Also the common thing in all cases is that all 3 of the guys could’ve easily kept things on the DL but chose to be papped each in a DIFFERENT COUNTRY which was easier to keep low profile in vs in the US where they’re normally seen. Tell me they didn’t call the paps themselves... that’s where the PR thing comes from and it has nothing to do with whether they actually had something or pretended to. They purposefully went after the public attention and that’s 100% a PR part. Coulda been fucking, but calling paps to capture them fucking is PR. Also we know that Seb can be completely private if/when he wants to, so that was another thing that was OOC for him and made people side eye the whole thing and what a coincidence that it happened right after signing with CAA. Like he’s never been to Mexico or even Europe on a boat on vacation before 🙄 *cough* Margarita *cough*, yet there’s no single pap pic of him sucking her face in the ocean and Winter Soldier was HUGE at the time. Tells you something, doesn’t it? Again, believe what you want, but this kind of speculation does have a basis. Btw this isn’t directed at you, mod. For a lot of us the whole thing is bizarre but it’s the first time I’m seeing someone going out of their way to defend the agency that’s notorious for giving their clients this tabloid kind of exposure and that has had stories like that being told about them even by the actual industry people for years even before Seb got on their radar.
