Prairierush

Description: golden tabby she-cat with fluffy tail

Mother: Mothclaw

Father: Shrewnose

Littermates: Lilyfall, Palestorm

When she was an apprentice she wanted to become a medicine cat apprentice to Kestrelflight. But another cat, Sandpaw was already the medicine cat apprentice. One day Prairiepaw asked to help Sandpaw collect herbs, an eagle swooped down and snatched Sandpaw. Prairiepaw blamed herself for what happened because she didn't help Sandpaw, and Kestrelflight accepted her as his new apprentice grudgingly. He also blamed her for Sandpaw's death. She spent the rest of her life, nervous, anxious, and full of guilt.

Squallpaw

🏳️‍🌈; What is their gender & sexuality?: squallpaw’s male and a little uncertain as of yet of what his sexuality is. but he has a heavy crush on one of his close friends: acornpaw who’s female and a secret adoration for sleetpaw from the rival clan sparrowclan, who’s non-binary (they/them pronouns) so is kinda questioning whether or not he’s pan or whether his feelings are just related to how much he cares for acornpaw and her companionship and his admiration for sleetpaw’s skills (as he, has talked to them twice before during meetings and, well, they’re always so excited, passionate and cool so)

🌹; What’s their favorite smell?: the fresh clean smell of the grass, trees and earth after it’s rained. how everything seems so… new and interesting, the scent of animals: cat, prey and/or predator so newly created and telling of a lot of what they’ve been up to and their emotions at that point in time. he also feels comforted by the scents of some of his foster mothers, his own mother lightheart and the nursery den, recalling those more comfortable and carefree days well

🔔; How do they greet others?: depending on who he’s addressing he can either come across as polite or… p aloof. with acornpaw and littlepaw, he’s more open and crooks his tail briefly at them as they approach or once he’s woken them up for apprentice work. with stormstar, his uncle and mentor, he’s much more detached and just, dips his head to him, keeping from making eye contact. and with nearly everyone else, he tends to just either bob his head quickly or stare at them with a bored expression (specifically if he doesn’t like them or they’re utter strangers)

Sunbird

💞; Who do they get along with?: p much all of lionclan! he is most comfortable, especially, around lilyfall and bramblestar and more up for joking with them when he’s not too tense or worried about something. he tends to mess around sometimes with his father’s tail, when he’s not looking (and not too busy) still having a little of that kittenish element there when he’s truly relaxed and enjoys joking with lilyfall or engaging in playful competitions (such as seeing how quickly they can catch so much prey for the freshkill pile or who can climb the highest up a tree). and is curious about their new apprentice firepaw, wanting to engage a little bit in friendly talk with him. with the other warriors and their deputy, he’s a little bit more closed-off. he wants to do his best for them all but ends up automatically just relying on talk about his work or their work rather than relaxing a little around them and chatting about more casual things

⛄; What’s their favorite season?: autumn!! definitely. even now, as a young adult, he loves the noises that the fallen leaves make and sometimes, during more playful moods, plops leaves on lilyfall just to see what she’ll do. he has lessened some of his habit of hiding leaves about his new den (as it would be considered Disrespectful in his eyes) but would definitely stash some away in his bed if he could

🏡; How do they view their own clan?: as uncertain as sunbird is in his role, he absolutely loves his clan and how far they’ve come. he knows that bramblestar must’ve found it difficult at first, building up such a territory for them all, and is proud of how much it’s developed, even from how much he’s seen growing up. he feels that everyone is fair, supportive and loyal and wouldn’t change them for anyone else!
