Stop tryna give Adam Driver "gifts" 2k19
Y'all. Please stop tryna bring Adam Driver gifts at stagedoor. Idk why he hasn't done stagedoor for the last two nights, but I wouldn't be shocked if it's because it's so overwhelming.
Tonight, after security announced he wouldn't be coming out, two women went to a stagedoor's intercom, pressed the button, and begged someone to come out. When someone did--like "????"--they started begging them to take a gift for Adam.
She just gave them this look of bewilderment and concern (and took the "gift", but it was obviously going straight in the trash.)
Look. I don't believe there's anything wrong with trying stagedoor. The actors expect it; there's security there. There's lineposts there. That part is all okay.
But if an actor doesn't come out, a no is a no. SO many people said they were gonna stick around "just to see."
And what then? What if he did come out an hour later? Y'all're gonna accost him?
Jesus Christ. I fucking wouldn't come out if I knew people like this were waiting for me.
This is an issue of consent. You're fine to shoot your shot and stand at stagedoor, but a no is a no. When security says to do something, do it. No selfies with the actors. Only their own play's materials. Leave when you're told to leave.
And don't fucking bring "gifts." That's just goddamn weird, and it's become very clear--from MULTIPLE incidents--that they're not welcome.
Behave.

How much does a chain link fence cost?
How Much Does a Chain Link Fence Cost?
Chain link fences offer an attractive alternative to traditional wooden fences. They're typically less expensive than wood fences, but they require some maintenance.
Typical Range:$1,200 to $3,000
National Average:$2,100
Whether you're looking to contain pets or kids, create privacy from passers-by, or provide protection near a pool or garden, vinyl-coated chain link fencing is one of the best choices for enclosing your yard today. Unlike traditional chain link fences, vinyl-coated chain link comes in a variety of styles and colors, and can be customized to fit any home design.
Chain link fencing is an affordable fence option but homeowners must consider many factors when choosing their options.
How to Calculate Chain Link Fence Cost
To calculate the cost of chain links, you’ll first need to measure and make several choices. The math isn’t too difficult, but there might be some decisions you don’t want to make.
A chain link fence consists of several components. There are two kinds of fence posts: cornerposts are deeply embedded into the corners to give structure and stability. In between the cornerposts are lineposts, which are thinner than the cornerposts and add support to the fencing at eight to ten feet apart. These posts are connected together by a solid toprail sleeve that goes through the top of the sides and secures at each endpost. The mesh, made out of the familiar diamond pattern, is attached to thetoprail with wire ties. Finally the mesh is tensioned by attaching a length of tensionwire to the toprail next to the cornerpost. The size and heightof your fence will determine how much money you spend on each component,so measuring carefully and choosing the right height will help you build anaccurate budget.
Measure carefully the perimeter of the area where you want to install the fencing. This is the linear foot measurement and the basis for all calculations. It is how much mesh and top rails you’ll need.
You need to decide how tall the fence needs be based on your needs, local regulations, and available materials. Chain link comes in different sizes ranging from three feet up to twelve feet high.
You can choose from a variety of fence materials, including bare metal, zinc-plated steel, aluminum, vinyl coated steel, or powder coated steel.
Once you've decided on the height and finish, calculate the cost of the material for each linear foot. Multiply these costs together to get the total cost per square foot.
To determine the cost of installing chain link fences, first decide how many corners you want, then multiply the length of the fence by ten to get the number of line posts needed. Add that figure to the cost of the corner posts.
Adding the cost of top rails for your chosen finish of length equals the linear footage of the fencing plus some extra if there’s any waste from cutting.
You may want to consider adding gates to your fencing project. There are different types of gates available, and you can choose from various heights to suit your needs. Add these costs to the total cost of your fencing project.
Finishing elements: Posts, privacy options, and hardware come in styles and colors to match the mesh. Calculate how many and how much finishing material you’ll need for your project by using the number of posts you determined earlier and the length of fencing you selected.
Determine the cost of permits required by your city or town.
Labor costs: Once the material costs have been calculated, consider whether or not the project will be done by a handy homeowner or if you’ll need to hire a pro for the job. If you decide to go DIY, you might want to calculate the cost of removing old fence, preparing the area, and installing new posts and fencing. You could probably handle these tasks yourself, but given the price of specialty tools and expertise, hiring a pro may be less expensive overall. Get some estimates first.
There are several factors involved when calculating chain link fence cost.
Chain link fences seem like an easy choice because they're often assumed to be one type of fence. However, chain link fences come in a wide variety of heights, gauges, finishes, and other features. Each decision can be made by balancing aesthetics, function, and price until all three meet the customer's needs.
Height, Length, and Size
While the total linear footage of the area to be fenced has the greatest effect on the total cost, the height of the fence and the overall size can also affect costs. Fencing materials come in various heights from three feet to twelve feet, though taller fences are rarer. Taller fences are more expensive, and custom sizes, where two pieces of fencing material are joined together for a specific height are even more costly. The length and shape of the fence also affects the cost: A larger fence requires more posts and labor, so the price of a large fence may be lower if the fence is made out of bulk supplies. However, a custom-sized fence around a smaller area can have an unexpectedly higher cost because it requires more posts and labor.
Gauge or Mesh Thickness
Chain link fences come in different gauges, ranging from 6 gauge (the heaviest) to 11.5 gauge (the lightest). Higher gauges are cheaper but weaker than lower gauges.
Diamond Size
Much of the appeal to a chain link fence comes not only from the simple yet decorative diamond shaped pattern formed by twisted wire, but also from the strength of the fence itself. Measured on the interior of the diamond in both diagonals, the most common diamond shapes are 1 inch, 2 inches, and 3.5 inches by 5 inches. Smaller diamonds result into stronger fences that are more costly regardless of the gauge because it requires more wire to twist to create the fence. Larger diamond sizes are less secure, but cheaper; reducing the mesh size of 2 inches to 1 inch increases the cost of the mesh by about 50%. It’s important that you check local regulations before choosing a diamond shape: Some security fence permits require specific diamond sizes for safety purposes, such as those for enclosing swimming pools or livestock.
Posts and Concrete
Most commonly, the fence posts are also made of metal. However, some wooden posts can also be used, and these may be cheaper if you're only planning on building one fence. The posts should be set at least two feet underground, and preferably into concrete so they won't move around. They should be spaced about every four feet along the length of your property line. You'll need to buy the posts separately, and the price depends on how tall you'd like the fence to be. A post costs between $5 and $20, plus any additional materials you might need (like paint). The average total cost for a fence is $2 per linear foot, including everything except the actual posts.
Gates
Walkway gates may not seem like much, but they can be very handy if you're working around your property. They can help you move things in and out of the backyard, admit visitors, or do landscaping jobs, such as mowing your lawn. In addition, they add great curb appeal to your house. A simple swing gate costs about $150 to $550, depending on how tall and elaborate the design is, and requires only basic tools to install. A double swing gate allows you to open a bigger gap in your fence, costing anywhere from $190 to $320.
Driveway Gate
A driveway gate should be sturdy enough to withstand the weight of vehicles passing through it, and should be able to accommodate large vehicles such as trucks. Double swinging gates are often too flimsy to handle the weight of larger vehicles, so they're best suited for smaller driveways. Single or double rolling gates are generally cheaper than double swinging gates, but they do not offer the same level of safety and protection. They are also easier to install, and can be opened manually if desired. Depending on the size of your driveway, a driveway gate can run anywhere between $1,000 and $10,000.
Privacy Slats
Privacy slats are narrow strips of colored material that fit into the gaps between the links of chain link fencing. They can be used to create a decorative border around your property without blocking views. Plastic or wooden slats cost about $4-$50 each, depending on size, and installation typically runs about $2-$4 per linear foot. You can also buy vinyl or fabric screening that attaches to chain link fences. These come in rolls and are easy to apply yourself. Vinyl and fabric screens cost about $10-$20 per roll, and installation is about $5 per linear foot. Wood privacy panels are another option; these are made from pressure treated lumber and require professional installation. Wooden panels start at about $30 per panel and run upwards of $100 per linear foot.
Powder Coating
Galvanized or bare metal chainlink fences come in two types: Powder coated and uncoated. Powder coating costs an extra $6 to $8 dollars per linear foot.
Additional Costs and Considerations
Chain link fences are usually calculated based on choices made by homeowners. However, there are other factors that affect their price, including the current condition of the yard, which may dictate whether they need to be replaced or repaired. Some of these costs may not be within the homeowner’s ability to influence, but others may require professional help or be dictated by local laws.
Fence Removal
Old fencing must be completely removed before a new fence is installed. This will typically cost between $3 and $4 per linear foot. Chain link fences are easy to install and remove, so homeowners can do this themselves if they choose. However, chain link can be heavy, so it’s best to hire a professional contractor to help out. A good contractor should charge around $10-$15 per hour, plus any additional fees associated with removing old fencing. Salvage companies may also offer to take away your old fencing for free, and pay you by weight for what they can sell.
Installation and Labor
National averages for the cost of installing posts and mesh fencing vary widely, depending on where you live. In general, the average price ranges between $7 and $20 per linear foot. You can save money if you do your own work, but hiring a professional may be worth the extra expense.
Land Clearing
A chain link fence should not be used if the area where it is being installed is uneven or rocky. In addition, a chain link fence cannot be used if the soil is too wet or dry. Fencing contractors may charge extra for these services.
Hardware
Chain link fencing is basically just metal attached to another piece of metal, so in addition the mesh, top rail and posts, you'll need materials to connect them together. Every two sections of top rail that need connecting will require one top rail section. For every post, buy one loop cap to secure your top rail and one post section. Each corner post needs a tension bar, a post end, a brace band and a carriage bolt to connect the rails to the post, and stretch the mesh. Fences will also require a tension rod. A length of tension cable equal to the linear footage of the fence is needed to stretch the bottom of your mesh. Finally, purchase a fence tie per linear foot of fence to connect the mesh to the toprail, and select hardware to fasten the fence closed. The price of this hardware does not vary much by style, however it will increase with the total amount of linear footage of the fence you're building.
Permits
If you want to install a chain link fence, you need to get a permit from your local municipality. You may have to pay a fee for the permit, but if you don't get one, you could end up having to remove the fence later because it was installed too close to the property lines.
