「 INDEX + INTRODUCTION 」
˚₊‧🔪WELCOME TO MY YANDERE BLOG! I mainly make content for my own original characters and occasionally, fandom related stuff. This blog is strictly 16+ and run by two people.
My name is Kiki (She/Her) and I am 18+. I’m the one that mainly provides the art and bots that you’ll find throughout this blog and sometimes, I write headcanons/imagines as well. My writer is Rose (She/Her, 18+) and she’s responsible for writing the fanfictions and some of the drabbles. To make it easy for you to know who's behind each post, you'll see either 'Mun Kiki', 'Mun Rose', or both credited in the tags.
We started this blog because we had numerous ideas for yandere characters. Given my background as an artist and Rose's talent as a writer, it seemed like a natural fit. I'm primarily creating this post to serve as a guide for navigating the blog. I've received numerous asks about accessing the characters' backgrounds, information, as well as questions regarding my bots, projects, commissions, socials, and other related topics. You can use this post as a reference FAQ or as a comprehensive guide to streamline your experience on the blog.
Find that you enjoy our work? Consider leaving a tip, it’s greatly appreciated and helps the blog. Also, if you’d like to be able to be more involved with our creative process and engage with the community, you can join our Discord server here.

╰┈➤ ASK RULES - OPEN!
✦ Absolutely no NSFW asks. This blog is 16+ for a reason, so obviously, we will be trashing asks related to sexual topics.
✦ We’re allowed not to answer certain asks. If you’ve been spamming the same ask and we haven’t responded to it for months, it’s most likely because we aren't comfortable doing so OR we’ve already answered an ask similar to yours.
✦ We will not be answering any asks regarding self-harm, eating disorders, extreme gore, noncon or any topics that could be associated with them.
✦ Finally, we kindly request your patience. We understand that it may take some time to address each individual ask, as we both have busy lives and there may be periods when we don't post asks for weeks. Please refrain from rushing us, and rest assured, we will eventually get to your ask.
╰┈➤ YANDERE MASTERLISTS
Original Yandere Masterlist
Fandom Yandere Masterlist
╰┈➤ CHARACTER AI + JANITOR AI
If you've been following this account for some time, you're likely aware that I frequently share my character bots here. I've received numerous asks about which bots are available and where to find them online. While I plan to compile a list of my bots soon, for now, I'll provide links to both of my accounts for future reference.
It's worth noting that I'm currently on a temporary hiatus from Character AI due to site complications. Consequently, most of my recent bots can be found on Janitor AI, where I'm more active. Before visiting either site, please be aware that Janitor AI is intended for users aged 18 and above, whereas Character AI caters to a younger audience. In other words, minors stay off JanitorAI!
My Character AI profile - 1, 2, 3, 4
My Janitor AI profile (18+) - 1, 2, 3, 4, 5
Wish to request a bot from me? You can find the information here.
╰┈➤ ART COMMISSION INFO - OPEN
Pretty self explanatory. If you're interested in commissioning artwork from me, simply click the link to access my commission page. Currently, I'm accepting payments through both PayPal and Cashapp. Below is a brief FAQ regarding my commissions. Should you have any further questions, don't hesitate to contact me!
Can you draw my OC with your characters?
✦ Yes, absolutely! Just provide me a reference and what you'd like specifically. We can discuss all the details in DM's.
Can you draw a character from 'this fandom' for me?
✦ I'm completely fine with drawing fandom related content. The only fandoms I will not draw under any circumstance is youtubers, Your Boyfriend, Country Humans, BTD and Killing Stalking. Otherwise, I'm open to whatever.
Can you draw a comic for me?
✦ Yes, but only short comics. You can let me know what you'd like the short comic to be about and all that fun stuff. Just know comics from me will likely be around $20-$40+ dollars depending how detailed and complex you'd like it to be.

ASKBOX CURRENTLY CLOSED DUE TO COMPUTER ISSUES
Can't really talk much either because phone typing is painful.
I'm sorry for the inconvenience.
I am obsessed with Gay singing robots and Gay ducks and they're the only thing keeping me going. My vocal synths are my family and the Mallard-McQuack family lives rent free in my head.
Working on my own continuation of the Mallard-McQuack family's story for DuckTales 2017 and I guess also the 2010/16 comics too since I got a few ideas for that. Apologies for never uploading them in order, my head's just way too scatterbrained. (If you want to read them in chronological order see the comic index page.)
I also post vocal synth covers on my YouTube and niconico.

Oooh I want the last anon but I’d LOVE to hear more about your thoughts on AI. I currently consider myself pretty neutral but positive leaning with it and am curious as to what the pros are in your opinion! I’ve only really learned about it through chat bots and the medical technology so far!
Thank you for asking and wanting to learn more about it! I will try not to ramble on for too long, but there is A LOT to talk about when it comes to such an expansive subject as AI, so this post is gonna be a little long.
I have made a little index here so anyone can read about the exact part about AI they might be interested in without having to go through the whole thing, so here goes:
How does AI work?
A few current types of AI (ex. chatgpt, suno, leonardo.)
AI that has existed for ages, but no one calls it AI or don't even know it's AI (ex. Customer Service chat bots)
Future types of AI (ex. Sora)
Copyright, theft and controversy
What I have been using AI for
Final personal thoughts
1. How does AI work?
AI works by learning from data. Think of it like teaching a child to recognize patterns.
Training: AI is given a lot of examples (data) to learn from. For example, if you're teaching an AI to recognize cats, you show it many pictures of cats and say, "This is a cat."
Learning Patterns: The AI analyzes the data and looks for patterns or features that make something a "cat," like fur, whiskers, or pointy ears.
Improving: With enough examples, the AI gets better at recognizing cats (or whatever it's being trained for) and can start making decisions or predictions on new data it hasn't seen before.
Training Never Stops: The more data AI is exposed to, the more it can learn and improve.
In short: AI "works" by being trained with lots of examples, learning patterns, and then applying that knowledge to new situations.
Remember this for point 5 about copyright, theft and controversy later!
2. Current types of AI
The most notable current examples include:
ChatGPT: A large language model (LLM) that can generate human-like text, assist with creative writing, answer questions, and even act as a personal assistant
ChatGPT has completely replaced Google for me because chatGPT can Google stuff for you. When you have to research something on Google, you have to look through multiple links and sites usually, but chatGPT can do that for you, which saves you time and makes it far more organized.
ChatGPT has multiple different chats that other people have "trained" for you and that you can use freely. Those chat include chats meant for traveling, for generating images, for math, for law help, help creating gaming codes, read handwritten letters for you, and so much more.
Perplexity is a "side tool" you can use to fact check pretty much anything. For example, if chatGPT happens to say something you're unsure is actually factually true or where you feel the AI is being biased, you can ask perplexity for help and it will fact check it for you!
Suno: This AI specializes in generating music and audio, offering tools that allow users to create soundscapes with minimal input
This, along with chatGPT, is the AI I have been using the most. In short, suno makes music for you - with or without vocals. Essentially, you can write some lyrics for it (or not, if you want instrumental music), tell it what genre you want and the title and then bam, it will generate you two songs based on the information you've given it. You can generate 10 songs per day for free if you aren't subscribed.
I will talk more about Suno during point 6. Just as a little teaser; I made a song inspired by Hollina lol.
Leonardo AI: A creative tool focused on generating digital art, designs, and assets for games, movies, and other visual media
Now THIS is one of the first examples of controversial AIs. You see, while chatGPT can also generate images for you, it will not generate an image for you if there is copyright issues with it. For example, if you were to ask chatGPT to generate a picture of Donald Trump or Ariel from The Little Mermaid, it will tell you that it can't generate a picture of them due to them being a public figure or a copyrighted character. It will, however, give a suggestion for how you can create a similar image.
Leonardo.AI is a bit more... lenient here. Which is where a lot of controversial issues come in because it can, if you know how to use it, make very convincing images.
ChatGPT's answers:
Leonardo.AI's answers:

I will talk more about the copyright, theft and audio issues during point 5.
3. AI that has existed for ages, but that no one calls AI
While the latest wave of AI tools often steals the spotlight, the truth is that AI has been embedded in our technology for years, albeit under different names. Here are a few examples:
Customer Service Chatbots
Professional Editing Softwares
Spam filters
Virtual assistance
Recommendation systems
Credit Card Fraud Detection
Smart home devices
Autocorrect and predictive text
Navigation systems
Photo tagging on social media
Search engines
Personalized ads
The quiet presence of AI in such areas shows that AI isn't just a future-forward trend but has long been shaping our everyday experiences, often behind the scenes.
4. Future types of AI
One of the most anticipated types of AI that has yet to be released is Sora, a video AI tool that is an artificial intelligence system created by Google DeepMind. It’s designed to help computers better understand and generate human language. Think of it like a super-smart computer assistant that can read, write, and even understand complex sentences. Sora AI can answer questions, translate languages, summarize information, and even help with tasks like writing or solving problems.
Unlike traditional AI systems that mostly focus on text or images, Sora AI can create short videos from text descriptions or prompts. This involves combining several technologies like natural language understanding, image generation, and video processing.
In simple terms, it can take an idea or description (like "a cat playing in a garden") and generate a video that matches that idea. It's a big leap in AI technology because creating videos requires understanding motion, scenes, and how things change over time, which is much more complex than generating a single image or text.
The thing about Sora AI is that it's already ready to be released, but Google DeepMind will not release it until the presidential election in America is finished. This is because the developers are rightfully worried that people could use Sora AI to generate fake videos that could portray the presidential candidates doing or saying something that is absolutely fake - and because Sora is as good as it is, regular people will not be capable of seeing that it is AI.
This is obviously both incredible and absolutely terrifying. Once Sora is released, the topic of AI will be brought up even more and it'll take time before the common non-AI user will be able to tell when something is AI or real.
Just to mention two other future AIs:
Medical AI: The healthcare industry is investing heavily in AI to assist with diagnostics, predictive analytics, and personalized treatment plans. AI will soon be an indispensable tool for doctors, capable of analyzing complex medical data faster and more accurately than ever before.
AI in Autonomous Systems: Whether it’s in self-driving cars or AI-powered drones, we are on the cusp of a new era where machines can make autonomous decisions with little to no human intervention.
5. Copyright, art theft and controversies
While AI opens up a world of opportunities, it has also sparked heated debates and legal battles, particularly in the realm of intellectual property:
Copyright Concerns: AI tools like image generators and music composition software often rely on large datasets of pre-existing work. This raises questions about who owns the final product: the creator of the tool, the user of the AI, or the original artist whose work was used as input?
Art Theft: Some artists have accused AI platforms of "stealing" their style by training on their publicly available art without permission. This has led to protests and discussions about fair use in the digital age.
Job Replacement: AI’s ability to perform tasks traditionally done by humans raises concerns about job displacement. For example, freelance writers, graphic designers, and customer service reps could see their roles significantly altered or replaced as AI continues to improve.
Data Privacy: With AI systems often requiring massive amounts of user data to function, privacy advocates have raised alarms about how this data is collected, stored, and used.
People think AI steals art because AI models are often trained on large datasets that include artwork without the artists' permission. This can feel like copying or using their work without credit. There is truth to the concern, as the use of this art can sometimes violate copyright laws or artistic rights, but there's a few things that's important to remember:
Where did artists learn to draw? They learned to draw through tutorials, from art teachers or other artists, etc., right?
If an artist's personal style is then influenced by someone else's art style are they then also copying that person?
Is every artist who has been taught how to draw by a teacher just copying the teacher?
If a literary teacher, or a beta reader, reads through a piece of fiction you wrote and gives you suggestions on how to make your work better, do they then have copyright for your work as well for helping you?
Don't get me wrong, like I showed earlier when I compared chatGPT with leonardo.ai there are absolutely some AIs that are straight up copying and stealing art - but claiming all picture generative AIs are stealing artists' work is like saying
every fashion designer is stealing from fabric makers because they didn't weave the cloth, or
every chef is stealing from farmers because they didn't grow the ingredients themselves, or
every DJ is stealing from musicians because they mix pre-existing sounds
What i'm trying to get at here is that it's not as black and white as people think or want it to be. AI is nuanced and has its flaws, but so does everything else. The best we can do is learn and keep developing and evolving AI so we can shape it into being as positive as possible. And the way to do that is to sit down and learn about it.
6. What I have been using AI for
Little ways chatGPT makes my day easier
I wanted to test how good chatGPT was at reading "bad" handwriting so I posted a picture of my handwriting to it, and it read it perfectly and even gave a cheeky little answer. This means that I can use chatGPT to not only help me read handwritten notes, but can also type out stuff for me I would otherwise have to spend time typing down on my own.
I've also started asking chatGPT to write hashtags for me for when I post on instagram and TikTok. It saves me time and it can think of hashtags I wouldn't have thought of myself.
You might all also be aware that I often receive bodyshaming online for simply existing and being fat. At least three times, I have used chatGPT to help me write a sassy comeback to someone harassing me online. It helped me detach myself from the hateful words being thrown at me and help me stand my ground.
And, as my final example, I also use chatGPT for when I can't remember a word I'm looking for or want an alternative. The amazing thing about chatGPT is that you can just talk to it like a normal person, which makes it easier to convey what it is you need help with.
Custom chatGPTs
I created a custom chatGPT for my mom with knitting recipes where she can upload pictures to the chat and ask it to try and find the actual knitting recipe online or even make one on its on that could look like the vibe she's going for. For example, she had just finished knitting a sweater where the recipe failed to mention to her what size the knitting needles she had to use, which resulted in her doing it wrong the first time and having to start over.
When she uploaded a picture of the sweater along with the recipe she had followed, chatGPT DID tell her what knitting needle she had to use. So, in short, if she had used her customized chatGPT before knitting the sweater, chatGPT would have saved her the annoyance of using the wrong size because chatGPT could SEE what size needle she had to use - despite the recipe not mentioning it anywhere.
I also created a custom chatGPT for my mom about diabetes. I uploaded her information, her blood work results, etc. so it basically knows everything about not just her condition, but about HER body specifically so it can give her the best advice possible for whenever she has a question about something.
And, finally, the thing you might have skipped STRAIGHT to after seeing the index...
My(un)official angsty ballad sung by Holli to Lina created with suno.ai
Let you be my wings
7. Final personal thoughts
While AI is absolutely far from perfect, we cannot deny how useful it has already become. The pros, in my opinion, outweigh the cons - as long as people stay updated and knowledgeable on the subject. People will always be scared of what they don't know or understand, yet humanity has to evolve and keep developing. People were scared and angry during the Industrial Revolution too, where the fear of job loss was at an all time high - ironically ALSO because of machines.
There are some key differences of course, but it was the overall same fears people had back then as people have now with AI. I brought this up with one of my AI teachers, who quoted:
"AI will not replace you, but a person using AI will."
While both eras involve fears of obsolescence, AI poses a broader challenge across various sectors, and adapting may demand more advanced skills than during industrialism. However, like industrialism, AI may lead to innovations that ultimately benefit society. And I, personally, see more pros than cons.
And THAT is my very long explanation to why my bio says "AI positive 🤖"
As a final thing, for anyone wanting to stay updated on AI and how it's progressing overall, I recommend a YouTube channel by Matt Wolfe. He was my AI teacher's recommended YouTube channel for anyone who wants to stay updated on AI:

Tumblr Growth - Its tough trying to face the world from inside Tumblr.
I used a service called Make | Automation Software | Connect Apps & Design Workflows | Make to push my Youtube videos (All of them that I could on a free plan) to Tumblr - ive been also forming connections and commenting and being part of the community. I had issues where it would post the link to the video, well the ID and I had to manually push the you tube url video = [VideoID] but it didnt embed so I have been editing them one by one to properly embed them and tag them. Its paying off slowly, also pushing thebritbeardo.tumblr.com to the world, frustrated that tumblr is blocking bing bot and @tumblrsupport in a reddit thread said speak to Bing, Bing does not control robots.txt for my site so I kindly asked and will continue to ask tumblr support to remove the block to bingbot, I have sent screenshots from bing webmaster tools. Also, Google is not properly indexing britbeardo.tumblr.com because its not the canonical URL and no matter the tags I put in the html it seems that there is a tumblr controlled canonical url that is set to tumblr.com/accountname. All the canonical testers tell me this.
It seems they are really focusing on users using internal tumblr network and not reaching out to potentially new tumblr users. Its a shame as if you configure Tumblr correctly, follow the right people its actually a much better social environment that Facebook or X, Threads, Masterdon etc. I use them all pretty much and found Tumblr to be a breath of fresh air except for these few frustrations.
@TumblrSupport please allow users more control of blocked search engines in the robots.txt, even if its a check box for allow Yandex, Allow BingBot etc. And give us control of the canonical URL, if I put a Tag in my HTML to override please honor my request to use account.tumblr.com I considered buying a domain but in still concerned that using a domain will cause me to still blocked by bingbot and not have control of the canonical settings.

Considering Perplexity’s bold ambition and the investment it’s taken from Jeff Bezos’ family fund, Nvidia, and famed investor Balaji Srinivasan, among others, it’s surprisingly unclear what the AI search startup actually is.
Earlier this year, speaking to WIRED, Aravind Srinivas, Perplexity’s CEO, described his product—a chatbot that gives natural-language answers to prompts and can, the company says, access the internet in real time—as an “answer engine.” A few weeks later, shortly before a funding round valuing the company at a billion dollars was announced, he told Forbes, “It’s almost like Wikipedia and ChatGPT had a kid.” More recently, after Forbes accused Perplexity of plagiarizing its content, Srinivas told the AP it was a mere “aggregator of information.”
The Perplexity chatbot itself is more specific. Prompted to describe what Perplexity is, it provides text that reads, “Perplexity AI is an AI-powered search engine that combines features of traditional search engines and chatbots. It provides concise, real-time answers to user queries by pulling information from recent articles and indexing the web daily.”
A WIRED analysis and one carried out by developer Robb Knight suggest that Perplexity is able to achieve this partly through apparently ignoring a widely accepted web standard known as the Robots Exclusion Protocol to surreptitiously scrape areas of websites that operators do not want accessed by bots, despite claiming that it won’t. WIRED observed a machine tied to Perplexity—more specifically, one on an Amazon server and almost certainly operated by Perplexity—doing this on WIRED.com and across other Condé Nast publications.
The WIRED analysis also demonstrates that, despite claims that Perplexity’s tools provide “instant, reliable answers to any question with complete sources and citations included,” doing away with the need to “click on different links,” its chatbot, which is capable of accurately summarizing journalistic work with appropriate credit, is also prone to bullshitting, in the technical sense of the word.
WIRED provided the Perplexity chatbot with the headlines of dozens of articles published on our website this year, as well as prompts about the subjects of WIRED reporting. The results showed the chatbot at times closely paraphrasing WIRED stories, and at times summarizing stories inaccurately and with minimal attribution. In one case, the text it generated falsely claimed that WIRED had reported that a specific police officer in California had committed a crime. (The AP similarly identified an instance of the chatbot attributing fake quotes to real people.) Despite its apparent access to original WIRED reporting and its site hosting original WIRED art, though, none of the IP addresses publicly listed by the company left any identifiable trace in our server logs, raising the question of how exactly Perplexity’s system works.
Until earlier this week, Perplexity published in its documentation a link to a list of the IP addresses its crawlers use—an apparent effort to be transparent. However, in some cases, as both WIRED and Knight were able to demonstrate, it appears to be accessing and scraping websites from which coders have attempted to block its crawler, called Perplexity Bot, using at least one unpublicized IP address. The company has since removed references to its public IP pool from its documentation.

A note on coverage of The Murderbot Diaries
This one's perhaps even more of a departure from the initial expectations of the blog than the Neverending Story was, but all good things are... subject to change? No, that makes it sound like it's not as good.
The Murderbot Diaries are a series by Martha Wells, about a security construct (SecUnit, the name for the designated model type and, by extension, the name used by most of the people Murderbot encounters) that broke its own governor module (think DRM) and functions independently, though it pretends it's still good locked-down company property. It exhibits strong symptoms of social anxiety, making it one of the most relatable robots ever, and accidentally makes friends.
Murderbot itself has no gender. The audiobook narrator is Kevin R. Free, and the subject doesn't come up very often in the story, so a lot of people assume and assign masculinity. Despite that, Murderbot is and knows it is a construct accessorized with the most expedient biological parts, expresses no human gender, and uses it/its pronouns. This just doesn't get clarified until much later in the series, if at all, and I'd rather have everyone understand it up front so nobody accuses me of object-ifying a person who literally personally identifies as an object.
I think this series is really neat. It's so much an exploration of personhood, like your average robot story but with mental illness. Heck, don't mind if I make references all the way back to Rossum's Universal Robots, the (extremely readable or watchable! highly recommended by me) stage play that is the origin of the word itself in its modern context, or perhaps further back all the way to Frankenstein. Murderbot is in conversation with two hundred years of science fiction exploring what it means to be, and besides that, I think it does some really interesting things with the prose.
So, with the newest book coming out in a couple of months, I decided to merge my desire to reread it with my desire to pick it apart under a microscope the way this project allows. We'll be covering more or less in release date order, with the exception of the expanded edition of Compulsory recently released going back to back with the original to compare and contrast.
So please, instead of peace this time, give Murder(bot) a chance, and join me on this space adventure.

Recent discussions on Reddit are no longer showing up in non-Google search engine results. The absence is the result of updates to Reddit’s Content Policy that ban crawling its site without agreeing to Reddit’s rules, which bar using Reddit content for AI training without Reddit’s explicit consent.
As reported by 404 Media, using "site:reddit.com" on non-Google search engines, including Bing, DuckDuckGo, and Mojeek, brings up minimal or no Reddit results from the past week. Ars Technica made searches on these and other search engines and can confirm the findings. Brave, for example, brings up a few Reddit results sometimes (examples here and here) but not nearly as many as what appears on Google when using identical queries. A standout is Kagi, which is a paid-for engine that pays Google for some of its search index and still shows recent Reddit results.
As 404 Media noted, Reddit's Robots Exclusion Protocol (robots.txt file) blocks bots from scraping the site. The protocol also states, "Reddit believes in an open Internet, but not the misuse of public content." Reddit has approved scrapers from the Internet Archive and some research-focused entities.
Reddit announced changes to its robots.txt file on June 25. Ahead of the changes, it said it had "seen an uptick in obviously commercial entities who scrape Reddit and argue that they are not bound by our terms or policies. Worse, they hide behind robots.txt and say that they can use Reddit content for any use case they want."
Last month, Reddit said that any "good-faith actor" could reach out to Reddit to try to work with the company, linking to an online form. However, Colin Hayhurst, Mojeek's CEO, told me via email that he reached out to Reddit after he was blocked but that Reddit "did not respond to many messages and emails." He noted that since 404 Media's report, Reddit CEO Steve Huffman has reached out.

I've recently learned how to scrape websites that require a login. This took a lot of work and seemed to have very little documentation online so I decided to go ahead and write my own tutorial on how to do it.
We're using HTTrack as I think that Cyotek does basically the same thing but it's just more complicated. Plus, I'm more familiar with HTTrack and I like the way it works.
So first thing you'll do is give your project a name. This name is what the file that stores your scrape information will be called. If you need to come back to this later, you'll find that file.
Also, be sure to pick a good file-location for your scrape. It's a pain to have to restart a scrape (even if it's not from scratch) because you ran out of room on a drive. I have a secondary drive, so I'll put my scrape data there.
Next you'll put in your WEBSITE NAME and you'll hit "SET OPTIONS..."
This is where things get a little bit complicated. So when the window pops up you'll hit 'browser ID' in the tabs menu up top. You'll see this screen.
What you're doing here is giving the program the cookies that you're using to log in. You'll need two things. You'll need your cookie and the ID of your browser. To do this you'll need to go to the website you plan to scrape and log in.
Once you're logged in press F12. You'll see a page pop up at the bottom of your screen on Firefox. I believe that for chrome it's on the side. I'll be using Firefox for this demonstration but everything is located in basically the same place so if you don't have Firefox don't worry.
So you'll need to click on some link within the website. You should see the area below be populated by items. Click on one and then click 'header' and then scroll down until you see cookies and browser id. Just copy those and put those into the corresponding text boxes in HTTrack! Be sure to add "Cookies: " before you paste your cookie text. Also make sure you have ONE space between the colon and the cookie.
Next we're going to make two stops and make sure that we hit a few more smaller options before we add the rule set. First, we'll make a stop at LINKS and click GET NON-HTML LINKS and next we'll go and find the page where we turn on "TOLERANT REQUESTS", turn on "ACCEPT COOKIES" and select "DO NOT FOLLOW ROBOTS.TXT"
This will make sure that you're not overloading the servers, that you're getting everything from the scrape and NOT just pages, and that you're not following the websites indexing bot rules for Googlebots. Basically you want to get the pages that the website tells Google not to index!
Okay, last section. This part is a little difficult so be sure to read carefully!
So when I first started trying to do this, I kept having an issue where I kept getting logged out. I worked for hours until I realized that it's because the scraper was clicking "log out' to scrape the information and logging itself out! I tried to exclude the link by simply adding it to an exclude list but then I realized that wasn't enough.
So instead, I decided to only download certain files. So I'm going to show you how to do that. First I want to show you the two buttons over to the side. These will help you add rules. However, once you get good at this you'll be able to write your own by hand or copy and past a rule set that you like from a text file. That's what I did!
Here is my pre-written rule set. Basically this just tells the downloader that I want ALL images, I want any item that includes the following keyword, and the -* means that I want NOTHING ELSE. The 'attach' means that I'll get all .zip files and images that are attached since the website that I'm scraping has attachments with the word 'attach' in the URL.
It would probably be a good time to look at your website and find out what key words are important if you haven't already. You can base your rule set off of mine if you want!
WARNING: It is VERY important that you add -* at the END of the list or else it will basically ignore ALL of your rules. And anything added AFTER it will ALSO be ignored.
Good to go!
And you're scraping! I was using INSIMADULT as my test.
There are a few notes to keep in mind: This may take up to several days. You'll want to leave your computer on. Also, if you need to restart a scrape from a saved file, it still has to re-verify ALL of those links that it already downloaded. It's faster that starting from scratch but it still takes a while. It's better to just let it do it's thing all in one go.
Also, if you need to cancel a scrape but want all the data that is in the process of being added already then ONLY press cancel ONCE. If you press it twice it keeps all the temp files. Like I said, it's better to let it do its thing but if you need to stop it, only press cancel once. That way it can finish up the URLs already scanned before it closes.

Does this blog do interest checks? I'm debating on making a server but I'm not too sure if I have the time/energy to moderate one
the blog description "A confession blog for fictionkin, fictives and systems mates, copinglinks, soulbonds, and others from fictional sources! Icon / Blog Title never spoiler tagged! Not a call blog! Search #blogpages for the 14 blog pages in as posts."
the #blogpages search results https://fictionkinfessions.tumblr.com/tagged/blogpages
the interest checks page https://fictionkinfessions.tumblr.com/ic
the interest checks page as a text post https://fictionkinfessions.tumblr.com/post/632740647002079232/interest-checks-info-page
What’s an interest check?
It’s where you check if anyone is interested in a discord server, usually for a specific source. Interest checks can also be for other things like call blogs or kin related blogs.
How do I send one in?
Send an ask message anonymous or publicly mentioning an ‘interest check’ and for what source or kintype you are hoping to make a server for.
You can keep it brief and say ‘interest check for splatoon kin?’
Or, you can go into detail and say ‘interest check for splatoon kin and systems, double friendly, 18+ only, we’ll have movie nights and splat games, au and oc friendly’,
Both are reasonable and welcome!
Is there any kind of interest check you won’t post?
Yes! They have the same rules as the ones on the Promo Guidelines page. Essentially, please don’t prohibit certain types of systems, prohibit those in Systems, are only anonymous messages with server invites, are welcome to people who aren’t alterhuman, or isn’t for those who are alterhuman, or permit factkin.
How do I respond to one?
Please like, reblog with a positive comment, or reply to the post! Please don’t send in ask responses so we don’t miss anyone looking to join the server!
I made a server for an interest check. Now what?
Let us know! Please make a post on your personal blog or a side blog @/mentioning this blog! Or send us an ask message with a blog url and / or link to the post!
Please keep in mind if you’re using a brand new side blog, tumblr will automatically mute you for anti spam bot purposes. You won’t appear in the search index, or to any other blog, for a little while. If we don’t reblog from your new side blog, it’s because of that. Please send an ask message or DM if this happens!
Also, please check to make sure it’s not breaking any of the promo guidelines! Promo guidelines page here: https://fictionkinfessions.tumblr.com/promo
the promo guidelines page https://fictionkinfessions.tumblr.com/promo
Promo Request information We post promos for blogs that are:
help / info blogs
source call blogs for alterhumans or systems
multi purpose blogs
Additional reblogs of previously reblogged promos!
Interest checks! [See below]
Invite requests via ask messages to open kin / system servers
We don’t promo blogs that:
offer pendulum readings [explanation here]
Permit IRL / DA interaction
use uncredited fanart or uncredited images.
Personal blogs
Anonymous messages with only random discord server invites. This is because I don’t want to direct people into servers that might be full of gore or shock images.
Prohibit any kind of Systems from interacting [eg endogenic, traumagenic, “no fictives / introjects / alters / etc allowed in server or to interact” etc]
The tone of this post / reply is completely neutral, please do not assign emotions or read that deeply into it.

GJ and ZZH Updates — November 12-18
previous week || all posts || following week
This is part of a weekly series collecting updates from and relating to Gong Jun and Zhang Zhehan.
This post is not wholly comprehensive and is intended as an overview, links provided lead to further details. Dates are in accordance with China Standard Time, the organization is chronological. My own biases on some things are reflected here. Anything I include that is not concretely known is indicated as such, and you’re welcome to do your own research and draw your own conclusions as you see fit. Please let me know if you have any questions, comments, concerns, or additions. :)
[Glossary of names and terms] [Masterlist of my posts about the situation with Zhang Zhehan]
11-12 → Rare posted a photo ad featuring Gong Jun. (1129 kadian)
Fresh posted a commercial featuring Gong Jun.
→ Gong Jun attended a live event for Rising with the Wind. Fan Observations: Gong Jun talked about his vs Xu Si's MBTI types, with him making a comment that when he was working he was "forced to be an E (extroverted)". This sounded like he was saying "yi" (a top), an accidental pun that everyone else noticed before him lol. [clip] This trended on Weibo.
→ Gong Jun Outdoor Office posted a photo of him from the event. Caption: "Mr. Xu is here today!"
→ The Rising with the Wind Douyin posted a video of the main cast dancing. An interviewer also posted a similar video to her Xiao Hong Shu shortly after.
→ A video interview with Zhang Sanjian was posted to YouTube. The face is off in a number of aspects (smile, jawline, cheeks, etc.) and the voice sounds lower than Zhang Zhehan's. [comparison photos]
→ Gong Jun posted a douyin of himself doing a little dance he had tried to do during the earlier event. Caption: "It's okay this time!"
→ The Instagram posted three photos of drawings. All of them are completely different styles, which doesn't seem to fit the "art lessons" narrative.
→ It was made public that Gong Jun is suing an anti for a total of 120,000 RMB, with the case set to be heard on 2024-01-04. The anti is a former whaler who had posted insults against Gong Jun's mother.
11-13 → Gong Jun's studio posted a behind the scenes video from Rising with the Wind. Caption: "Xu Si @ Gong Jun Simon’s physical examination report is released! Stay healthy workers and have a good start on Monday!"
→ Gong Jun's studio posted a video of Xu Si clips. Caption: "Recently, there have been frequent cold air activities. Mr. Xu @ Gong Jun Simon reminds you to wear more clothes to keep warm. The special electronic down jacket has been delivered, please make your choice!"
→ Rare posted four photos of Gong Jun from that day's event.
→ Gong Jun's studio posted a behind the scenes video of Xu Si in his office. 11-17 → Gong Jun made a post about the movie 我本是高山 (English title Beyond the Clouds), which he had attended the premiere of the previous day. Caption: "After watching 'Beyond the Clouds', I was really moved. Principal Zhang Guimei, played by @海青哥, used her life and hard work to try her best to help every girl from Dashan break out of the world that restricts them. hello so im new to tumblr, is there a way to like… see the oldest to newest posts or something?? i really wanna read the ENTIRETY of this and not miss a single bit, but i came a little late to the party.
Hm yes but you have to be on desktop! (Technically a mobile browser can work but it looks like you would have to input each page manually.) It looks like I can't even link this directly so here's the instructions.
By going to the blog itself, you can type [BLOG URL]/tagged/[TAG]/chrono you can reverse the chronology of posts in that tag.
So the entire URL you want is:
https://ask-the-becile-boys.tumblr.com/tagged/becile bots/chrono
That'll have all the original posts and story.
If you want EVERYTHING everything, again, gotta be on desktop ;_; But as of right now, here's the URL to the very first page of the blog:
https://ask-the-becile-boys.tumblr.com/page/112
If you are stuck purely on the mobile app, you can go to the header of the blog, I've linked a bunch of mobile friendly navigation links there. Failing the other options, 'Story Index' is your best best!
If Tumblr has implemented a better way, especially for mobile, that I don't know about, someone please tell me x_x

How hard would it be to make a new search engine? One that isn't operated by a big tech company.
Well first you would have to build all the software and pay for all the hardware
Then you would need to build up your index
That is where a problem appears, due to AI scrapers many websites now don't allow any bots other than google bot and maybe bing bot so you would need to convince publishers to allow you on their sites
Actually doing it would cost crazy amounts of money before you even consider the convincing the sites to let you in thing
US10-$30 billion. Google and Microsoft Bing, it said, are the only search engines that spend hundreds of millions of dollars annually to maintain their indexes.
That's tens of billions of dollars
There has never been a startup that got that much in a single funding round much less a non corporate non government organisation that held that much money that isn't the Catholic church.
I simply cannot imagine a successful open source search engine people want to use
Even duckduckgo often borrows results from Bing
Search engines clearly aren't going away, people aren't going to deal with link lists and they want to be able to search the whole web at once
What do you think?
