I want to listen to LITWTC SO BAD but I tried it while getting a pedicure and Chris Dunne wouldn't stop talking about Will getting eaten by a bear and in another episode they gaslit me about being stranded on an abandoned island with no one but each other- and the other person might be a COCONUT - and let me tell you dealing with that while fox news is playing on the tv and the massage chair is rolling you like that pole with the handles all while the mating call of Ed Sheeran can faintly be heard outside the mind boggling babbling of Dunne and Wood is the closest to drugs I have ever gotten, and I did not spend however many hours in health class to do drugs without any of the FUN

Kind of a late addition considering this post has taken off, but yeah it does feel as though it's thinly-veiled bigotry whenever people call something "neurodivergent" or "trans" in a bad way. "Oh I don't mean it in a rude way" your tone and the way you frame it is antagonistic and condescending. You associate "autistic and gay people music" with low quality and inferior music that only those communities can enjoy. You might as well substitute neurodivergent or gay for a slur and the tone comes across the same.

Worse is when they're like: "Oh can't people have opinions" yes?? You can have opinions? Nobody said you couldn't not like that music. People just said that you shouldn't call people cringe because they listen to a music artist you've only heard 15 seconds of because it went viral

I hate how people will look at popular indie artists who had one or two songs go viral on TikTok and start making fun of anybody who listens to them. "Oh you listen to Lemon Demon, Will Wood, Jack Stauber, Glass Animals, and Mother Mother? Tsk, don't you know that is stupid TikTok neurodivergent white transmasc preteen music? It's so mid and bad you should listen to real music–" you are a pit of misery

It has been years (not even two months) and my beloved (litwtc) has still yet to return from the war (being on hiatus for a little bit) and I fear I may never see him again (it will probably be back pretty soon)
