Let there be peace in your soul

There’s nothing better than peace of mind. If you can’t achieve it, no matter how hard you try then try these simply easy steps: 1. Tell yourself, “I am strong, great, and empowered”, because you are. 2. Go out for a walk. There’s nothing better than a pumped bloodstream as more and more oxygen is supplied to your brain enabling you to think clearly.

3. Eat. Try to eat anything that comforts your soul. Fruits are the best choice.

4. Read. Grab a hold of books that enrich your perspective positively. Or any fictional comic books. 5. Work. When your mind is clear or unclear, working distracts you either way. So, work and focus your attention on making money for as many hours as you want. After all, it’s produtive and brain stimulating. 6. Sleep. Get some good rest after you have done all your part to be yourself. 

7. Wake up fiercely. Wake up strong, powerful, and ready for the day.

8. Repeat. Having a routine will keep you right on track. Successful people just follow routines to never get distracted.

Rising out of the Ash

That June night when she said "I hate myself. I want this misery to end. I want.. I need, to die." the I who said that, died. She looked back at all the things she had done, the person she was, the person she had become and she hated herself!

She HATED herself.

Suffocation. Suffocation. Suffocation......

Suffocation by an immense, unbareable, unsurvivable, unmaintainable amount of hate.

Suffocation.

What is left?

Me.

No role being played, no “character” nor “mask”. Pure Me. I have emerged without movement. I have become without becoming. I have awakened without awakening. There is no more darkness surrounding Me, holding me, inside- (like a prisoner of the imprisoned). There is no longer a "wall" of separation- (like a gate tearing apart a gardener from her garden). There is no separation.  

I am seeing the light. I am feeling the light. I am the light.

I am awake. I am connected. I am alive.

No more character, no more mask, no more separation.

What was she?? A wall built around Myself? My own personal dungeon???

Why did she entrap Me? Why hide your own Power?

She didn’t know she deserved “It”. Her whole life she had learned that the grass must always be greener on the other side. The other side.. this unattainable, so far out of reach, mystical, unrelatable other side. She never learned to look.. if she would have, she would have seen the grass beneath her was not only green but purple, pink, magenta and gold- shimmering, dancing, and exploding with lights and colors and magnificent patterns that she herself never could have even dreamt of.

She had been put down again and again.. and again.

Abuse.

Repetitive and unforgiving. Overpowering and demanding. Controlling and absolutely damaging.   She? She felt worthless, powerless, defeated. So? So: she hid her own Power. She hid her power so far down even she could not find “It”, or think of “It”

and she chose.

She chose.

Separation.

Her life and reality? A self-created, self-harming, self-sabotaging, living, breathing, rotting hell.

She thought? She thought that is what she deserved.

She found a false reality and called it home.

She wouldn’t allow herself to think she deserved better or even that there was better. She refused to see the heaven happening in her and around her and through her. She instead chose to see a hell. To live in a hell. The perfect hell. Full of all her darkest demons, full of all her deepest fears.

She was my friend, my sweetest ally, closest to me over anyone else and always choosing my life over her own. Unconditionally loving me, looking out for me and continuously always choosing to take the arrow into her own heart before it could even touch me.

To me, her purpose felt to be loving devotion. Like a servant meant to live and die just for me. I felt she was not here to torture me, but to help me. She did the "impossible", for me. She "awakened" the awakened.

Rise out of the ashes. Rise, without rising.

I thank her for all she has done. I thank her for all the work she has put in. I thank her for the life she has made. I thank her for the world she has created. The servant becomes servant once again. The silent master, finally reclaiming lead- exploding in and of it's own strength.

Scrap the Standards and Live Fearlessly

These standards society places on us, on women, are just not fair. We are told to wear makeup, shave and wax everything, grow our hair out so it’s long and silky, wear heels to look sexy, get lip fillers, do squats for a bigger butt, get rid of hip dips… The list just goes on and on. To be quite honest, I can’t take it anymore. The more I try to achieve these standards of “beauty,” the more depressed I become. Personally, I don’t enjoy wearing a full face of makeup every day, but some women do! More power to them! There is nothing wrong with any of the standards I listed above. What’s wrong with them, is that they should not be standards. The standard should be to live a healthy, balanced lifestyle. Therefore, I say, scrap the standards and live fearlessly!

What does a healthy, balanced lifestyle look like?

A healthy, balanced lifestyle involves taking care of your mental, physical, and spiritual health. Many of us, myself included, tend to obsess over our appearance and therefore neglect our physical and spiritual health. This is extremely dangerous. It can lead to anxiety, depression, eating disorders, self-harm… you name it! We need to put just as much care into our minds and hearts as we do our physical bodies. We strive to feed our bodies healthy food and work out. Unfortunately, we aren’t as particular about what we feed our minds. This digital age traps us in a never-ending consumption cycle and stifles our creativity. It’s hard to live fearlessly when you aren’t creating and contributing to the world.

What does it mean to create?

According to Google, create means to “bring something into existence,” to “cause” something to happen. When we consume, our feelings and attitudes are the effects of what someone else created. For example, if you feel bad about yourself while scrolling through pictures of Instagram models, that feeling is an effect of what someone else created. Let me make one thing clear. There is nothing wrong with consuming media in moderation, but if we never create, then we’ll be constantly affected by the world around us, which can be awfully depressing at times. Creating can include anything from art and music to cooking or building something. It allows you to be your own person and develop skills that can “cause” a positive effect on this world. Therefore, get out there! Scrap the standards and live fearlessly. The world needs the creativity and ideas you have to offer!
