Analin works at the Weather Station, often applying for extra shifts just so she could afford enough money for her and her daughter to survive.

Although, she isn't too fond of Qiū's new "friends". Even more worried on how sick her daughter has been getting recently (someone help this lady 🙏)

Tao Xuan is mostly out of the picture, only offering child support money and that's about it.

Overall, Analin is a Single, hardworking mom with a big heart, ready to end whoever comes between her and her daughter. Seriously, you don't want to mess with her.

What it Qiutian's dad could shapeshift to watch/monitor his daughter when Macaque was with her?

Sinag can't shapeshift sadly. though he is more involved in his daughter's training by s4. still, the bare minimum as he can't always be there with them due to his job on the moon.

Malaya/Qiutian does have a few ways to contact him to give him post updates, yet she still avoids telling him too much in fear of worrying him.

to answer your second question , yes. most of my story (consept wise) is inspired from auburnitzy's take on the bakunawa & haliya's fiasco. but i still changed a whole chunk to fit how i wanna make mine.

though in Laya's case, the bakunawa didn't have any ties to Haliya's after the fight (which was caused by the murder of her sister, the Elder Marine Turtle). the first son to ever witness this had to flee from their home to avoid the celestial's attacks. then the two tribes had been enemies for the next melennial.

cut to modern day where third parties managed to get involved and got two descendants from both tribes engaged. (Analin and Sinag) in hopes to finally bring peace. and now we got Laya.

What will Liu Quitian’s life be like if her mom never died

i've already answered this ask about what her mom would have been but i think i can go a little deeper for this au.

so, Analyn Danao/Lin Liqiu, Qiu's mother. would be more like Camilla Noceda from the owl house. except she's divorced and made sure to cut off contact with her ex-husband's family while also making sure her and her daughter lived well.

Qiu's way of meeting mac would still be the same, stealing ancient artifact that belonged to her family in the middle of the night while her mom was at work, getting cursed and now she has to hide that fact from her mom while she's training to be a warrior.

Qiutian would still view Mac as a father figure, in comparison to her father, Tao Xuan (who instead gave her both trust issues and abandonement trauma like the father of the year he is)

in the sub-au , qiu still lives with her mother while occassionally staying over at macaque's to train or just hang out.

and no, Analyn does Not like Macaque. it's a one-sided situation-ship where mac is trying to appear as a good role-model for the kid and honestly not get his ass served to him.

think of it as how pigsy views wu kong, except he's even more protective of mk and ready to pick violence the second swk slips up.

if you're talking abt Sinag, not much connection as i doubt the two would be on good terms right away. idk second family members always seemed like a wrong deal to some people.

Sinag isn't doing much other than grieve on the moon and only comes back once a month for buisness casualties ever since Analin's funeral.

meanwhile, laya would avoid Hirana and Naqua like the Plague. you won't catch her dead talking to them unless forced to. Laya on the (and i am so sorry to say this) will absolutely hate them , in her head, her mom just died and they already forced two new strangers like that would fix the problem.

ok but for realsies

depending on how long the second marriage had been going on, i'd assume that it was fairly recent. as Analin would've died when Malaya was ten, and she turns twelve by the beginning of LMK.

if i wanna get as mathimatical as i can, i can say that the relationship of Hirana and Sinag would've kicked off months prior. maybe when Malaya was about eleven (yes i am using Laya's age as a timestamp leave me alone)

i can vaguely assume that after Laya runs away , she will find Naqua in china a few months later, heck maybe even a week who knows. from there, their relationship would ease out a bit more and she'd become less hostile towards him. or she'd see him as any other bad buisness man and continue to avoid him like the plague.

i can't say for certain how would Naqua react to Laya during all of this though. with Sinag's abandoning him though,,, i mean he neglected his daughter in favor of saving his dying wife. which also didn't work out.

he is a traditional man in all his glory. so i can assume he'd leave Naqua the moment it spreads out that he killed his own mother.
