The music was pounding loudly through the speakers in the hall, fading abruptly as he left into the hall, where it was significantly cooler, for the bathroom. He was going to fill up his bottle with water, which was something incredibly essential in this crowded, humid place.

On his way, he spotted a boy leaning against the way, seemingly on his own and perhaps not doing well. Perhaps dehydration, like quite a vast amount of people here.

He stepped towards the boy. "Are you okay there?" Tom asked kindly, not wanting to intrude. He'd been in quite a state before at events after not having had enough to drink and he really would have liked someone to have offered a hand back then.
