Uhhh… I don’t have an proper intro for this one, but it’s Disventure Camp Episode review time. And just like the last elimination episode, I have ‘emotional’ thoughts about this one.

Also, I’m probably gonna go back and rank the previous episodes on a 1-10 basis, so look out for that.

My actual review is below this, all of it will be under the cut \/

First, I thought the whole ‘win immunity and get a reward related to you’ thing for the merge challenge was nice, gave a few callbacks to the previous episodes. Gets a thumbs up 👍 from me.

Second, and more pressingly… Mathlete, or Logencer, or whatever the fuck is the official name for Logan x Spencer, teasing with that once scene at the end of the challenge. Y’know, the one on the thumbnail of the episode.

I don’t care for that ship personally, or any Spencer ship in fact (my hatred for that man is probably the reason), but if you do like it, it’s fine with me.

Speaking of my hatred of him, with the little reveals about his past relationship, it’s gonna get harder for me to come out and say that I HATE him. I don’t really care that he had a romance that was probably even worse than Chemma (Chase x Emma), after episode 7 he stopped rubbing me the right way and now I have the urge to bitch-slap him.

Now, I have to talk about the elimination…

I skimmed through towards the end just so I could see who got the boot, and my jaw was ON THE FLOOR.

HE FINALLY FELL VICTIM TO HANNAH CURSE?

It’s more likely than you think :,( .

I mean c’mom, even Jade was a little sad about him leaving. I was too! I almost was gonna start crying with that dialogue and the possible parallels to the Tristan elimination (I’m STILL not over it btw 😡).

And you know what, maybe my worst case scenario for Isabel’s elimination being Damien from the Reboot Total Drama’s elimination in the second season wouldn’t be so bad after all. She’s trying to get Hannah to be closer to her…Does she know what’ll hit her if the currently reigning true Hannah Curse comes for her too?

Finally, Benji speed running the Patreon reading was so unexpected, it took me out of my shock. And then he read ‘Spencer Please Step On Me’ and said “Ew” afterwards? Kind of based for that, Go Off.

Anyway, that about it for my review, solid 6.5/10 episode.

Now if you’ll excuse me, I have a ‘Benji reunites with Tristan on Rescue Island’ scenario to rotate in my brain for the next week or so until someone writes it.
