Another possible scenario to go along with the Time/Reader/Malon post?

Like maybe Time finally realizing who reader is when seeing them interact with HIS Epona? I mean in the LU comic, HIS Epona is still alive, just retired, so despite being rather old now, she still recognizes Reader by the their voice?

I also imagine a scene where Time just walks in on Reader just brushing Epona's coat or feeding her and just baby talking her, and this just clicks something in Time' brain, cause he remembers how as a child how the voice who helped him would always fawn over how 'cute' Epona was.

I’m like 50% sure the ask I’m mixing this with wasn’t a request. Anyway, keep this in mind: I don’t like time’s games. So like if things don’t make sense it’s because I speed through them. XD

I don’t think Epona would have heard Reader. There isn’t a mic feature in OoT originally similarly with Majora. The DS didn’t make much of a difference when it was ported. However, Epona is weird. Link’s ability to be love by most animals be damned. Epona is known to hate everyone that isn’t Malon or her father. So what would realistically happen?

When Reader would first meet with Epona, I wouldn’t expect instant adoration. However: I think it would be surprising how quickly Time’s Epona warms up to Reader. I imagine it took Twilight a few visits to be allowed to ride her. But I think the first visit to Lon Lon would be all it takes for Epona to warm up to you.

As terms of Time figuring out who Reader is through Epona. I think it's highly likely that it was Malon that pointed it out. I would honestly believe Malon would ask the reader first rather then Time figuring it out himself. Your baby talking might also be a small hint.

Honestly it would be very funny if it takes him long enough that everyone knows but Time. Reader just... "Oh I've been waiting for this. You're such a good girl! Sweet girl!" or something like that or that following by "Link put you through so much. I am happy your relaxing now."

Time will be embarrassed that he was the last one to figure it out. But god no one knows that. Only Malon.
