the focus of two-gun (fitting with isagi's personal values) is on how "nobody could see it coming"; even analysis of two-gun focuses on how the gk "can't predict" the shot. as usual he's about surprise and doing what the opponent doesn't expect

on a meta-level this works as a contrast too? as a reader, two-gun as a "new isagi weapon" wasn't explicitly foreshadowed so it came as a surprise but "kaiser scores with a spin shot" isn't much of a shock, in fact it's kind of expected— isagi relies on the element of surprise, kaiser rests on predictability. within blue lock isagi and kaiser are pitted against each other to represent two opposing ideas on how to be successful
