She’s a sweet little gal who can see duel spirits!!

luna/luka/ruka can see duel monsters spirits. she had a heavy burden placed on her when she was THREE YEARS OLD to protect the world of duel monsters spirits. as if that is enough to put on her shoulders, she's also sickly and oh yeah, they decided to also give a signer mark. she's three. she's on her death bed. she's expected to save two worlds. like this kid literally cannot catch a break. oh yeah, also her parents? they're never around. only person in her life is her twin brother, who is loud and that rubs against her autism in the wrong way. yes, she's autistic. do not argue with me. no i'm serious don't argue with me. lil miss luka has the failure to be diagnosed all weird little autistic girls are subjected. if she was a boy, y'all would see her autism for what it is but that's not the point of this rant. anyway her first time meeting yusei, she didn't care about his criminal mark because his duel monster friends said he's okay and that's good enough for her: the duel monsters said this criminal on her couch is a good guy! therefore acab. this is also the first time an adult has ever treated her like her thoughts and opinions matter, mostly because there was never an adult in her goddamn life in the first place (shout out to her parents for ABANDONING TWO TWELVE YEAR OLDS to their own fuckin devices). can't forget the fortune cup, where lua takes her place at first and LOSES IN THE FIRST ROUND, damaging her professional duel record (not like it matters because the writers decided it didn't matter what luka does after the series ANYWAY so who cares if her record is damaged :) ). she gets dragged in anyway and tortured by a child psychologist - classic weird autistic girl moment. during this she has a vision of the duel monster world and realizes oh yeah this is real, i'm supposed to protect this, and like. CANNOT. CATCH. A SINGLE. BREAK. aki takes an interest in luka because of her powers too! all while divine is a tool to her brother and she's forced to watch divine torture her brother :) awesome stuff. literally. cannot catch a fuckin break. next season her first duel is a loss against some weird kid from the future, and her second duel is against aporia where she literally dies (her brother brings her back to life). she is a character of untapped potential and deserves the world. vote for luka.

Anzu Mazaki

the original It Girl, very underrated anzu masaki is stubborn. she’s all about friendship and she believes in you soooo much. she’s the type to give you a lecture while picking you up because she’ll never leave you stranded but you should take better care of yourself. she has dreams of being a dancer and takes that risk in moving to whole different COUNTRY to follow her dreams. vote for anzu!!!

Favorite "just go with it" moment in vrains has to be the fact that the Knights of Hanoi are called the Knights of Hanoi.

Like, they go on to create the tower of hanoi, which is based on a mathematical puzzle like they talk about in episode 3, but they named themselves that way before they came up with that plan. They're called that because they're all veterans of the Hanoi Project. For some reason, Dr. Kogami chose to name his top secret artificial intelligence child torture experiment after-

Gonna ramble about one of my Zexal AUs, as promised

YU-GI-OH! ZEXAL AU: TWISTED REALITIES

Basically a horror au/human Astral au. I'm gonna go over the overall premise of the au and character roles. It doesn't deviate too far from the Zexal plot buuuut....there's quite a few things that are different.

MAIN CHARACTER FOCUS:

• Astral - Known as 'Riyuki Tsukumo' in this AU.

• Yuma - Him and Riyuki are siblings.

• Ryoga/Nasch - Goes by both. Still Barian but prefers to be seen as human. Knows he is Barian.

• Rio/Merag - Goes by both. Knows she is Barian. Plays an important role but those details are still in progress.

DIFFERENT PLOT POINTS:

Eliphas had failed over and over to make a weapon, in his frustration he resorted to taking a human instead and 'modifying' them to become a 'perfect weapon' as he says, that human just happened to be Riyuki Tsukumo, who was simply in the wrong place at the wrong time.

For almost two years the Tsukumo family searched for their missing member with no luck, it was as if he had vanished off the face of the Earth. Yuma knew though, he knew what had happened, he knew what he had done, or so he thought. Yuma had been led to believe when his brother had first gone missing that he was the reason, that he had killed Riyuki in cold blood and his brother was never going to be found alive again, until he was.

Although Yuma still believed his brother was dead and assumed that the person stood before him, who looked almost exactly like Riyuki, was an imposter. This idea was reinforced by the fact that Riyuki seemed to have no memory of who he was, although he seemed to know the city, much to his confusion. This situation pushed Yuma into a blind rage and he attempted to attack this 'imposter', only to realise this was in fact his brother standing in front of him, but with both a broken mind and memory.

Riyuki claimed he was hiding from someone, that he couldn't remember who he himself was or...anything really, but he knew had some sort of mission to fulfill, he just wasn't sure what. Riyuki also seemed to know that he had been in extreme pain before the last memory he can recall, that he used to be human but no longer was fully and that there was a way for him to get his memory back.

I swear I will work on this more when I have the motivation. I have Riyuki's design all set out and I didn't write any of the horror into this post (even though I'm super excited about it) but there is quite a bit, it's bloody too, because I love blood. I did originally have a majority of the cast designed and drawn/in progress but uhhh my files corrupted and I couldn't recover them, so I gotta do it again, besides Riyuki I already have these doodles, obviously this is after Eliphas got to him:
