So based on the curvature of the outer wall, is the bridge on the Trade Federation battleship located somewhere in that bottom row of windows on the sphere section?

I personally would not put the word "hulk" in the name of my ship class.

Note
Lucrehulk-class battleship, also known as a Droid Control Ship, or Trade Federation battleship, maybe? That’s why I’m such a fan of TPM.

JediDad Chapter 2
🌕 🌖 🌗 🌘 🌑 🌒 🌓 🌔 🌕
Jenzo in his unconscious state is brought back to a memory of making his one and only friend
🌕 🌖 🌗 🌘 🌑 🌒 🌓 🌔 🌕
Masterlist
Years Ago
Jenzo was a youngling, a child ready to be a padawan. He was very close to being chosen by a Master and was very skilled in his force studies. Though he didn’t have many friends, as he was a little older than the others when he was brought to the temple. He never remembered the Jedi who brought him to the temple as a seven year old. The one Jedi master he truly cared and respected more than anything was Plo Koon. The master cared for the boy as well and guided him, intending to take on the boy as a padawan when it was time for him. Yet as the boy excelled in the force techniques, so he was being considered for early padawanship like some before him.
Yet at the age of nine it wasn’t time. Jenzo walked around the temple, having walked away from his group, wanting to find master Plo. He overheard crying in one of the rooms and his curiosity got the better of him. Jenzo came across a boy sitting by himself and crying into his hands.
“Why are you crying? Why are you all alone?” Jenzo asked, making the boy gasp and turn around to face him. He quickly wiped his tears and looked away.
“It’s nothing. I’m not crying.” The boy defended and stared at the ground.
“Yes you were. But you should be with someone. Master Plo says it’s always good to cry with a friend so that you have a companion to lean on.”
The boy frowned. “I don’t have any friends. The others won’t be with me.”
“Well I’m here.” Jenzo offered and walked forward holding out his hand. “I’m Jenzo.”
The boy stared for a bit then shook his hand. “I’m Anakin Skywalker.”
That was a name Jenzo knew. “Anakin Skywalker?! The one who was in that battle.” Jenzo had heard about the battle of Naboo and the child who took down a Trade Federation Lucrehulk-class Battleship. “I’ve heard about you from the others! It’s so awesome to meet you!”
That made Anakin blush slightly and puff out his chest. “Thanks.”
“So… Why were you crying? And why won’t the others be with you?” Jenzo asked.
Anakin frowned again and had a sad look in his eyes. “The others don’t want to hang out with a former slave. They’re too good to be around me.”
That left a bad taste in Jenzo’s mouth. Who the kriff were they to make any judgment on anyone? He took down a battleship! He was chosen by Master Qui Gon! Jenzo never judged someone by their background, as master Plo said to be kind to others. That judging others was for the force to do, not for people.
“That's such bantha piss! You took down a battleship! They should be begging to be your friend! I want to be your friend!” Jenzo exclaimed, making Anakin blush again.
“You don’t mean that. You have other friends.”
“I have people I’m.. nice to. Not friends. Don’t you want to be friends?” Jenzo asked.
Anakin took a second to consider it. Then nodded with a smile on his face. “Sure. Let’s be friends.”
“Awesome! Let’s go!” Jenzo grabbed his hand and pulled him out of the room.
“Where are we going?” Anakin asked.
“Well you looked sad. So we’re going to find master Plo and he’ll help you feel better!” Jenzo explained as he pulled Anakin behind him. Finally Anakin got the hint and decided to keep up next to Jenzo.
The two smiled at each other. Jenzo was looking at Anakin that he didn’t see another youngling that he bumped into. The youngling boy turned and made a face when he saw Anakin. He looked sour and judgmental.
“Well well. If it isn’t little Anakin.” He snarked. “Made a friend have you?”
Anakin looked upset and looked at Jenzo who frowned at the boy. Jenzo decided he didn’t like him or his dumb friends that surrounded him.
“You should clear of him. He is but a SLAVE to his emotions.” The brat laughed.
That made Jenzo angry. And before he could stop himself, his fist collided with the boy’s face. Knocking the boy to the ground. Jenzo looked at Anakin, who stared at him shocked. It looked like a fight was going to break out. But before he could land any more blows to the boy's face, Jenzo felt himself being lifted into the air by the force. Another Jedi came to check on the boy who was crying. Jenzo recognized the Jedi who came to pull back Anakin, Obi Wan Kenobi. Jenzo looked to see who was lifting and holding him mid air. Seeing Plo Koon, he felt regret at what he had done in the heat of the moment.
“Take the boy to the healer. Obi Wan make sure Anakin is alright. I’ll deal with this one is dealt with.” Plo discussed and put Jenzo on the ground. Holding his shoulder and leading him away. Jenzo looked at Anakin and gave him a wave which Anakin repaid.
“I can explain. I was angry. He was making fun of Anakin for being a former slave. He was being horrible and a bully. I wanted to protect my friend. I-” Jenzo tried to explain but was cut off when Plo looked down at him. “I’m sorry.”
“It is admirable that you wanted to defend your friend against a ‘bully’ but you must control your anger.” Plo explained. “Do you know why I am a little upset at your actions?”
“I punched him in the face…” Jenzo said while looking at the ground.
“And what have I told you to attack when in a fight?”
“Eyes. Ears. Nose. Throat. Groin.” Jenzo whined. “But master Plo, it was the heat of the moment! I wasn’t thinking about all that!”
“You must keep your head. Even in the heat of the moment. I would prefer it if you don’t fight. As fighting is not the answer. But if you must defend your friend, you must do so smartly.”
Jenzo looked at the ground. “Yes master Plo.”
Plo Koon sighed and knelt to his level. “You have talent, Jenzo. A true understanding of the force. But you must keep your head. I am glad you have found a friend. But your emotions should not guide you to violence.”
“Yes master Plo.”
“Very well. Now go on. You should meditate on your actions, but if you want to see your friend first. I will not deny you.” Plo urged him on.
Jenzo smiled at the master and gave him a quick hug before he ran off to find Anakin. He was glad to have a new friend. Having had no other ones before now, he was excited to have made one. Especially one who had an interesting story about him like Anakin.
That was the day Jenzo made a friend.
~~~~
Jenzo was brought out of the memory and out of unconsciousness. The pain in his side was gone. And Jenzo half expected to see the ceiling of his room at the temple. But instead it was the ceiling of a ship. He looked around and was met with the gazes of six children who looked to him for guidance. So it wasn’t a dream. His best friend killed younglings, he killed a man, and now he was responsible for six children.
“Dank Ferrik.” Jenzo grunted. He was in over his head.
The Clone Wars and Scaling, My Thoughts
Star Wars the Clone Wars has a bit of a problem when it comes to scaling as can be clearly seen in the tv show especially during space battles in which the Jedi have three ships against the Separatists which often have two to three times as many. The biggest example of this issue I can think of is season two episode 16 in which one of the main characters Anakin Skywalker has three Venator Class capital ships against one of the bigger antagonists, Admiral Trench who has nearly 5 times as many ships with at least five of them being of the capital ships variety the majority of which were Lucrehulks which on their own pose a significant threat to a venators and have a decent chance of beating a Venator the republic’s/jedi’s mainline capital ship. This entire space battle makes no sense if you think about it somewhat logically as the republic is sending three capital ships with reinforcements of a single capital ship on the way and a stealth ship to carry relief supplies to the planet below which is inadvertently used to kill the enemy admiral i.e. Admiral Trench. Despite that Anakin doesn't wait for the reinforcements and devices to go against a fleet that is commanded by one of the separatists greats admirals who has more capital ships than he does and on top of that trench has several ships of the cruiser and frigate variety that seem to number around 10 or 12. To sum this up Anakin decides to attack a fleet that we will number conservatively to be five capital ships and 10 cruisers which number a total of 15 conservatively. Which means the Republic decides it's a good idea to send three capital ships that are commanded by their most  general and a highly skilled and reputable admiral Yularen against a fleet that is commanded by their enemies greatest admiral with a fleet that is conservatively five times their size and against them to win?
Tumblr media
link
Just off the numbers alone the battle makes zero sense and there is no way the Republic should of won even if you look at the battle after Anakin defeats trench in a way that makes zero sense in which the republic now has four venators two of which are slightly but not insignificantly damaged against a fleet that has a conservatively equal amount of capital ships and has 10 supporting cruisers. Which means they are outnumbered roughly four to one granted the Republic has a highly skilled general Obi Wan Kenobi but that is still an extremely difficult and nearly impossible space battle to win. This is one of my few issues with the Star Wars the Clone Wars Tv show. The republic somehow wins countless space battles with three ships against fleets that are often much bigger in size and well more rounded in their complement of warships. Not to mention the Venator is not even supposed to be a frontline warship as its role is mainly as a carrier and a battleship second. Which is even more confusing on how they win battles, how they do as they are sending three carriers and using them as battleships and sending them against fleets that are often composed of destroyers, cruisers, and actual battleships? My issue with this problem is more of a disappointment as the tv show had such a great possibility to have amazing space battles in which the republic deploys a reasonable fleet that does not consist of just venators against an actual well rounded fleet that is three times the Republic's size. It is truly disappointing to me because it could of been an amazing thing to watch in the tv series and would of definitely been one of my favorite parts as the space battles in the tv show were depressingly plain and simple when they could of been made into their own little series in which the republic deploys one of their own massive and well comprised fleets against the separatists which have done the same and they have a massive battle that affects the outcome of the war and can save or doom countless worlds if they fail. Furthermore it could be used as an opportunity to develop some of the lesser seen characters throughout the series who appear only a handful of times or a side character who gets more the spotlight and really gets the chance to demonstrate their worth as a character and really get to show off what they can do. Some characters that instantly come to mind for me are Admiral Yularen and some clone pilots such as Hawk. Admiral Yularen is a well established character in the novels however for those that don't read them he is just a side character and as such is criminally underrated if a series of episodes were to happen about a space battle in which he plays a critical role he could become a much more developed and respected character in the series. Despite this issue I still love the Clone Wars and always will. I just believe that this is a missed opportunity in the tv series and could have been a massive opportunity for the series as a whole.
Lucrehulk-class battleships were large craft used by the Trade Federation as troop transports and defense ships before the beginning of the Clone Wars. Later, some found service with the Rebel Alliance while others were used in training for the Imperial navy.
LETTER Q FOR THIS YEAR`S #36daysoftype
Tumblr media
I call this one to be a Quasar-class heavy carrier ( That's what the Q stands for) Thought that would be fun to design this letter as a star was style giant space craft... The shape of the letter Q by itself is kind of reminded me of the Star Wars Episode 1 Trade Federations Lucrehulk-class battleships ... so I decided that I would take a similar approach in terms of scale and main donut-like layout of the ship but would give it a more imperial Star Destroyer look 👽🌌🤘 Hope you like how it turned out 😁✌️
ᴛɪɢʜᴛ ꜰɪᴛ | Din Djarin x Fem!Reader
aka I’m going to make my Din Djarin brainrot everyone else’s problem, the fanfic
warnings - dirty talk (i guess?), non-graphic smut (minors dni)
word count - 1.3k
Tumblr media
(gif is mine, i was like FUCK i can’t find the gif i need, ill make it myself lmfao)
“Where's the Razor Crest?” Din asks, hands on his hips as Peli gleefully shows off what’s supposed to be your new ship. You try to imagine the pout on his face underneath the helmet.
The ship in question was awfully tiny, not to mention rather worn looking. The once yellow paint was cracked and faded with age - in fact, it looked so... Tatooine, what with the worn colors and sand damage. You wouldn’t be surprised if this ship was at least twenty years old (maybe more).
Peli scoffs. “I never said I had a Razor Crest. I said I had a replacement for a Razor Crest.”
Din huffs. “I don't have time for this.”
She raises a finger in protest. “Hang on a second. Do you have any idea what this is? This is an N-1 starfighter, handmade for the royal guard and commissioned personally by the Queen of Naboo.”
That certainly piqued your attention. You recalled hearing stories about how a single Nubian starfighter took down a Lucrehulk-class battleship. The ships were said to be incredibly agile and run well; they were particularly rare these days. A small part of you is fairly gleeful at the prospect of perhaps getting to fly an N-1.
“This is a pile of junk.” Din protests, bringing you out of your train of thought.
“Do you want your credits back?” Peli asks.
“Yes.”
“No skin off my dip-swap. Droids, bring this lovely man his money. Here you go. It's that easy. Sorry to waste your time. Okay?” Peli sighs. “While we're waiting, can I tell you a little something about this honey? I know she doesn't look like much, but you guys got here a lot earlier than I expected, and I didn't get a chance to finish. I mean, clearly, you can see I've got all the parts right here. Hmm? It all has a home.”
You wrap your arms around Din’s much larger arm and rest your head on his pauldron. The beskar feels soothingly cool on your cheek. “I’ve always wanted to fly one of these.” You say to Din quietly.
“We’ll hardly fit in there together,” he replies.
“I’d be willing to bet we can make it work.” You wink. “If we chose to keep it, of course. I still would rather ride this than public transit again.” you add, eyes pleading.
Din makes a quiet noise of protest. “I don’t know...”
Peli interrupts your hushed conversation as she walks around the ship, examining it critically. ‘You know how hard it is to find all original parts from way back in the Galactic Republic? I mean, these are all handmade. No droids. And not only that, what I'm gonna do, just because I like you two, is I'm gonna add on some custom modifications that'll make her faster than a fathier, and because this baby's pre-Empire, she's off the grid. And did I mention, she can jump into hyperspace with no docking ring? I mean, come on! You gotta see the potential.”
Well, you were certainly sold. You walk closer to the ship and run your fingers over the sand-covered metal admiringly.
Din, it seemed, was a less convinced, but you could tell he was softening on the idea.
“I'm telling you, Mando, you gotta believe me. This is a classic. Look, at least let me put her together before you decide. Can you give me that?”
“I think we’ll try it out,” You answer for him, knowing that he’d probably keep dragging his feet if left to his own devices. You, meanwhile, were already excited at the prospect.
Peli grins. “See, there you go. I’m glad at least one of you has common sense. Let’s get this baby up and goin'!” She grabs a wrench and begins disassembling a panel.
“...You know, it'd be a lot faster if you two helped.”
Tumblr media
By the time the three of you finished fixing the ship, the first of the twin suns had set, and the second was on it’s way to setting.
“Think she's ready?” Din asks.
You can’t help but admire your team effort. The ship looks rather good, and with the buffed out paint, the smooth metal gleams beautifully.
“Ready as she'll ever be. Start her up.” Peli replies.
“Really?” You and Din both ask in unison.
“Yeah, start her up.”
You excitedly move to get into the ship. The seat certainly feels a lot smaller when there’s already someone else occupying it, but you’re nothing if not staunchly determined; especially after you just worked your ass off on this ship.
“You just need to--” you grunt, trying to position yourself between his legs. If he would just part his legs a little more, this would be a hell of a lot easier.
He huffs and grabs your hips. His large hands wrap around them snugly. “No, wait, just--”
You wiggle your legs, trying to not hit any important buttons on the dashboard. “Let me--” you finally manage to sit down in between his legs. He practically envelops you like this.
You can just barely hear his faint mutter of, “Kriff,”
You’re confused for a moment, before it dawns on you that your ass is firmly pressed against his cock. You can feel heat rush to your cheeks, a tiny shiver running up your spine at the mere thought.
Din reaches forward to start the engine. Much to both of your dismay, it sputters weakly. “It's not turning over.”
“Give it a little bit more juice.” Peli encourages.
You press a key button on the console whilst Din attempts to start the engine, and suddenly, it roars to life. The engine is so loud you can hardly hear yourself think.
“That's a lot of engine for a little ship.” Din says, impressed.
 “Yeah, well, see what she can do!”
“Shouldn't we run a diagnostic first?” You question.
Peli waves a hand dismissively and yells over the roar of the engine, “Nah! I can hear her! She's purring! Send her up!“
Tumblr media
After a brief test drive, (followed by being temporarily accosted by New Republic Officers and meeting with Fennec Shand once again) You and Din were now comfortably in lightspeed.
“This thing really does handle nicely,” You comment.
Din hums. His gloved hand is idly rubbing your thigh. You continue to enjoy the comforting hum of the ship, and the fact that you're pressed against your Mandalorian in the best of ways.
His hand slowly trails up until it’s resting just above your waistband. He begins stroking through your pants subtly, his touch far too gentle. His other hand is gently caressing your shoulder.
"Din," You breathe. “If you could just...”
His voice sounds somewhat amused, “Cyar'ika, do you need something?”
“Need you,” You murmur, trying to angle your hips upward. You need more.
“So impatient,” he chides gently in that same aroused, yet slightly amused voice. He continues to stroke you as your legs begin to quiver.
You nearly whimper whenever he lifts his hand briefly. He tugs off the leather glove before his hand is back; he trails his hand along the hem of your pants. His touch is so unbelievably close, prompting you to rub your ass against his semi-hard length.  His head tilts back and you can just faintly hear his breath hitch slightly.
His fingers fumble with the button on your cargo pants. With surprising (though at this point, it really shouldn’t surprise you anymore) swiftness, before you can do a thing, he’s unbuttoned your pants and yanked them down.
You whisper, “I need you, Din. I need you inside me.”
To that, he has the audacity to tsk. “Cyar’ika, we have a long trip ahead of us.” he’s grasping at your thighs, teasing you. His voice drops slightly. “We’re not getting started until you come on my hand at least twice,”
You let out a moan at the prospect.
Star Wars Alien Species - Pau'an
Utapau was an arid sinkhole world in the Utapau system of the Tarabba sector in the Outer Rim Territories. Utapau was the homeworld of the Pau'ans and the Utai, more commonly referred to collectively as Utapauns. These species lived in the many giant sinkholes that dotted the planet's scrub-covered surface.
Tumblr media
51,000 light years from the core, Utapau orbited a single sun and was itself orbited by nine moons. It was composed of a small molten metallic core, with a rocky mantle and rocky, calcareous crust. Surface water made up only 0.9% of the planet, although most significantly, a vast subterranean ocean encircled the planet below the crust. Although extensive surface oceans once covered the planet, they leaked away to the subterranean ocean through the readily eroded crust through vast caverns that were once giant magma chambers. In turn, the erosive sea has contributed to the giant sinkholes throughout its windswept and grassy habitable areas. The resulting vast mineral deposits below the ocean are a great source of wealth for the planet.
Tumblr media
Sinkholes on Utapau were a common geological feature that appeared in areas where the rock below the surface of the land is made from substances like salt beds, limestone, carbonate rock (which is referred to as a karst landscape) that can be dissolved by ground water flowing through them. This rock can also be weakened by acidic rain. When these rocks dissolve, large spaces develop underneath until it gets too big and the land above the gap collapses. Naturally-occurring sinkholes are also created by long periods of drought, or when caves with underground streams naturally give way.
Tumblr media
Because of the lack of timber on the planet, Utapaun architecture was primarily constructed out of the bones of deceased animals. The bones of nearly all of the planet's fauna were used in construction, which later developed into a unique form of architecture known as ossic architecture. The skeletons of the huge animals that roamed the lower sinkholes and ocean had huge enough bones to be used as beams; other fossil bones were mined in caves.
Tumblr media
From before the Clone Wars, Utapau was one of the worlds restricted by a Trade Federation arms embargo on remote galactic regions. Because of this, the local defense fleet was based around downscaled warships only, many of which were designed and built on Utapau itself, including a variant of the Rendili StarDrive Dreadnaught. It was capable of offering some protection against marauding pirates, but as a battleship, it was outclassed by those put out by rich, industrialized sectors. For example, each vessel was only about one-fifth the size of a Lucrehulk-class battleship and they were all destroyed by the invading Separatist forces.
Tumblr media
On the other hand, Utapau's primary starfighter, the Porax-38, was a tough, long-range snubfighter, designed for Utai pilots and capable of extended interstellar patrols of up to twenty days. They saw good use when the scattered Utapau Skyforce mustered to oust the Separatists alongside Republic forces at the Battle of Utapau. In addition to mechanical vessels, the Skyforce also made use of native dactillions; giant, flying reptiles that could carry a rider into battle.
Tumblr media
The Pau'ans fulfilled most of the governmental and administrative duties on Utapau, as the Utai did not desire such work, serving as laborers instead. Most Pau'ans served as leaders early in their lives, often managing teams of Utai laborers. This gave them experience that would be used later in their life. Pau'ans were kind leaders, and sympathetic to their subordinates. Each city on Utapau was controlled by a Master of Port Administration, a hereditary title reserved for Pau'ans. These administrators were assisted by advisory councils for making important decisions about their city, turning to the Utapauan Security Force when necessary. Each Administrator served on the Utapauan Committee and oversaw planetary governance. However, the committee rarely made crucial decisions, as the cities were able to function on their own most of the time
Despite the many differences between the Pau'ans and the Utai, the two species were able to co-exist peacefully, although inhabitants of the different Utapaun cities often had conflicts due to philosophical differences. Still, these conflicts rarely developed into bloodshed, and it was more common for the cities to ignore each other. Each city had its own culture, and competition was fierce between the groups. However, they were able to cooperate when the situation necessitated it, such as during the Confederate invasion of the planet in 19 BBY.
Pau'an society was a blend of a variety of styles and cultures, borne from the ancient merger with the Utai. Built into the sinkhole walls, Pau'an settlements such as the Pau City spaceport were divided into different areas, each a mix of architectural styles and other-worldly design. They liked art, and enjoyed studying sculptures and finding ways to incorporate different artistic styles into their architecture. Pau'ans developed an industrial society, despite their seemingly primitive and natural image, though the Utai were the ones who actually did the hard work. The Utai did not mind, however, and collectively much preferred labor to positions of leadership. They were able to power their city by wind, harnessing it through massive windmills. Over ninety-nine percent of the planet's power came from these windmills. Most Pau'ans rode living beasts like varactyls and dactillions instead of speeders. Pau'ans, as well as Utai, were known for their love for Podracing.
Pau'ans represented 30%—or approximately 28.5 million—of Utapau's total population of 90 million inhabitants.
Tumblr media
Pau'an civilization began around 57,000 BBY. It was believed that settlers traveled to Utapau hoping to find a hospitable world to colonize after the destruction of their homeworld. Some created homes in the sinkholes, while others lived on the surface. Over time, the species changed genetically, becoming the Pau'ans and the Utai, two species with many differences but some similarities. Researchers from the University of Sanbra discovered evidence supporting the theory that the two species were related, although exact specifications were not certain. Eventually, a climate change, causing severe winds, forced the Pau'ans underground, into the sinkholes. The Utai welcomed the Pau'ans, and over time, the two societies merged together to live in a mutually beneficial civilization. Timon Medon was the Pau'an responsible for this, and he was held in high esteem by Pau'ans for his actions. Following the merging of the two cultures, they split into several different groups, forming sinkhole cities scattered across Utapau. Tion Medon, Port Administrator in 19 BBY, was named for Timon Medon. Pau'ans represented only about thirty percent of the population on Utapau, though as the administrators and bureaucrats of the sinkhole cities, their influence made up for their lack of numbers.
Due to trade restrictions placed on them by the Trade Federation, Pau'ans were unable to import many goods such as weapons or starships, and were forced to create their own technology. As Utapau was located in the distant Outer Rim Territories, few independent traders ventured to their planet; although many ventured there around 49 BBY after hearing rumors that the waters on the planet had miraculous healing properties. There were even claims that Utapau was the original home of the Jedi, although these reports were not new; they had originated millennia before. Though the Pau'ans did not want to draw attention to themselves for fear of meeting more powerful cultures who might try to conquer them, they eagerly welcomed visitors who wished to experience the healing for themselves. However, once the water was proven to be nothing more than ordinary water, most people forgot about Utapau, once again leaving it alone.
Tumblr media
The Pau'an culture was disturbed during the Clone Wars by the Confederacy of Independent Systems. Though the neutral Utapauns attempted to fight back with several Rendili Star Dreadnaughts, the CIS succeeded in conquering the planet as a stronghold. Administrator Tion Medon and his aide Lampay Fay were forced to host General Grievous and his allies on Utapau, turning the planet into a Separatist safehouse. The Pau'ans hid their starfighters, Porax-38 fighters, so they would not be used by the Separatist war machine or destroyed.
With the arrival of Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi, many Pau'ans and Utai fought back against the droid forces, with the Utai flying their starfighters in an effort to help liberate their planet, though Utapau was subjugated once more with the formation of the Galactic Empire. The Empire used the planet's resources with no thought to the native cultures that were affected, and Pau'an captives were shipped as slaves for several Imperial projects, including the colonization of Byss. Some Pau'ans and Utai created resistance movements, and the different cities were able to unify once more in the face of a great threat.
Following the liberation of their planet by the New Republic, they joined the new galactic government, hoping to avoid further enslavement and poor treatment at the hands of the leaders of the galaxy. Following the Yuuzhan Vong War, the Utapauan Committee elected to join the Galactic Alliance, holding democracy as vital to the preservation of the galaxy. When the Sith Lord Darth Krayt took control of the Galactic Empire, Utapau sheltered Admiral Gar Stazi of the Galactic Alliance Remnant late in the war after having providing the GA fleet shelter throughout the conflict.
Condemning the genocide wrought by the Sith on Dac, Port Administrator Telan Medon of Pau City agreed to harbor Stazi and his wounded men deep in the labyrinthine caves that pocketed the capital. Unbeknownst to the Pau'ans, Sith scientist Vul Isen had established a laboratory on the planet, conducting illegal experiments on the natives. Located within plain sight in one of Pau City's main precincts, the lab's function was to provide Isen a space to concoct a deadly virus that would wipe all life from Utapau indefinitely. Before Isen could unleash the deadly plague, Jedi Knight Cade Skywalker infiltrated the lab and cut Isen down, securing the toxin and saving the Pau'an race from extinction.
Tumblr media
Pau'ans were rarely found on a world other than Utapau, owing mainly to the remoteness of their planet. However, one individual who did achieve notoriety was the Pau'an Darth Desolous, who served as a Jedi prior to his fall to the dark side, when he became a Sith. Born in approximately 3522 BBY, Desolous joined the Jedi Order before being expelled due to his violent tendencies. He turned to the dark side, returned to Utapau, and trained a number of Pau'ans in melee combat. Desolous and his army killed a number of Jedi before he was defeated and killed by the Jedi High Council at Yaga Minor. In another instance, Lar Le'Ung attained the rank of Master within the rebuilt Jedi Order by 25 ABY, only to die at the beginning of the bloody Yuuzhan Vong War.
Pau'ans that left Utapau could be found as aides to nobles and senators. Having Pau'an aides was seen as a status symbol, much like having Caamasi advisors. As the Pau'ans were skilled leaders, some were recruited by the Corporate Sector Authority to work as managers of corporations. At one point, so many Pau'ans were recruited by companies that the CSA had to intervene and force businesses to take only a limited number of Pau'ans to be managers. However, following the rise of the Empire, Pau'ans were mistreated, and the assistants who had formerly enjoyed pleasant, successful lives were mocked and used as slaves.
At least one Pau'an joined the Galactic Empire, serving as an interrogator. This particular Pau'an enjoyed torturing suspects, and would use torture to force them to divulge information. Around 0 ABY, he interrogated Princess Leia Organa, a member of the Rebel Alliance, in an effort to determine the identity of the pilot who had destroyed the Empire's Death Star superweapon. This individual was killed by the assassin X-7 before he could force any information from Organa.
They were bald and their head was striped with furrowed gray skin. Pau'ans weighed seventy kilograms on average. Pau'ans had large, sunken black eyes in red eye sockets and jagged, fang-like teeth used for tearing into raw meat, as they were carnivores. The species had pale, wrinkled skin, due to the fact that they lived in the sinkholes of Utapau, giving them limited access to light. These traits caused some to view them as frightening. However, Pau'ans as a society were generally friendly, and were happy to welcome guests to their often overlooked world. Pau'ans had long lifespans, living up to 700 years, much longer than the Utai, the other species native to Utapau. This earned them the nickname of "Ancients". Members of the species were able to see well in darkness. Pau'ans had five fingers and toes, but were more mobile than they appeared. They often wore elaborate clothes intended to heighten their impressive stature.
The average member of the sentient near-Human Pau'an, or Utapaun, as they were sometime called, species stood taller than a Human, at approximately 1.9 meters or 6.2 feet.
501 - 669 Old
Examples of Names: Timon Medon, Tion Medon, Lampay Fay.
Hey y'all so i haven't seen anything on it but the lucrehulk class battleship used by the trade federation in star wars is terrifying if you know its actual capacity for war okay so the lucrehulk at one time can carry and launch 4,000 fighters with ease its shields are so strong you need an entire fleet just to dent them its hull is inanely strong in that it has backup system after backup system and has hundreds of turbolazer cannons now you might say oh anakin took one down in the phantom menace yah well here’s the problem with that that was the freighter variant not the actual battleship the battleship took all weaknesses threw them out the window and made the freighter variant look like a joke even when its predecessor was capable of killing a fleet on its own the ships are insane and should strike fear into you whenever you see them
Its that indeterminate time of day again where I open a Christmas themed box of Star Wars Legos and share the contents with you. Let’s see what we got.
Tumblr media
Its a Donut. More specifically it looks like a CIS Lucrehulk class battleship. The build is actually really interesting in so far as the ship has a really unique profile and its interesting to see that translated into brick form. We again have some basic SNOT construction. And a part I’ve never seen before in the second half of the central sphere.
Tumblr media
The Lucrehulk is an interesting option as well as its incredible bulk makes it difficult to render in lego form. (These things have a diameter of three star destroyers). But in mini form like this they can squeeze it in just fine.
Its pretty fun how they’ve mostly set things up to lead up to the next day. And how we’ve had a whole trio of Phantom Menace featured ships and character. Tomorrow if we get a minifig I’ll try and guess what the build will be the next day. See you then!
