Something about this foundation combination makes me feel glamorous... #lumicushion #firstimpression #mac I'm mixing L'Oréal lumi cushion (I got mine from @lets_makeup_bw) in N2 with Mac NC42 because nc42 is way too yellow for my skin tone and I don't want to waste the entire bottle. I'm still working on finding the exact quantities to mix to get to my exact shade. For Mascara I'm using my fave Almay intense I-colour volumising Mascara in Black for Hazel eyes. Contour is #NYX Contour Kit and highlight ( Shimmer Brick in Radiant ) is from Makeup Revolution. Lips is a revlon chubby pencil topped with #makeuprevolution lip gloss. L'Oreal Paris True Match Lumi Cushion Foundation review

Prior to trying the Lumi Cushion Foundation, I have never tried the "cushion" foundation style, nor have I ever even considered purchasing one, as I didn't really believe ot could give me the coverage I needed, and it also seemed like it cannot hold much product. I always opted for liquid foundation and a sponge/beauty blended applicator. So when I was contacted by Allure Beauty Enthusiasts to try and review the L'Oreal Paris True Match Lumi Cushion Foundation for free, I jumped at the opportunity. Let me start with saying that I was extremely impressed with the way with product is packaged. It quite literally looks just as good - or better - than high end make-up. Truly gorgeous case, outside - and inside. The sponge applicator has a separate compartment so that the mirror inside does not get smudged. As far as application itself - it's super easy. Press the applicator pad onto the sponge with the foundation and then pat onto your face. In no time at all the product is applied all over the face. I was very happy with that. Now as far as the look of the foundation on your skin. I truly do not believe you can achieve a medium or full-coverage with this foundation UNLESS you use a different applicator, such as beauty blender or similar. The coverage with the enclosed pad is only light. Which is great if you don't like to wear a lot of foundation (like me), but might be a problem if you'd like to cover up some problem areas. Then, I'd switch to a beauty blender and you can achieve medium coverage. Also, this foundation lives up to its name - it will give you luminous-looking skin. It basically means that if you hate the matte/powdery looking foundations, this product is for you! However, I would not recommend it for oily skin, as it will make you shine like a Christmas tree. It's perfect for dry skin, or even combination skin if you use a beauty blender. One caveat, however, is that even with dry skin, if you like to use an oil moisturizer before applying make-up, you either have to wait a while to make sure it gets well absorbed, or use one that absorbs immediately. Otherwise, you will shine! In general, this product is GREAT for my dry, hardly blemished, 38-year old skin (does not settle into fine lines) as long as I use a beauty blender for those days when I want medium coverage. My most favorite thing about this foundation is that it gives me a very natural look with very little product. Basically, one of those "bare face" effects, when the only one who knows you are wearing foundation is YOU!

Tried out the Loreal Tru Match Lumi Cushion and I LOVE it! Matched my skin color to my neck perfectly! Flawless build-able coverage too. Can’t get much better than that! ❤️💋🌺
